Topic: Stretch Thyself

In order for us to develop our fully functional and balanced merkaba (vehicles of light) we need energy coming up from below us (up from below our foot, through the feet, up the legs and so on) we also need energy coming from the crown chakra (above the head) downwards. I think a lot of us may come from another planet and thus we are not grounded with the earth. We are born into this world not grounded. We develop tense and rigid feet that are full of energetic blockages and poor blood flow (chi flows where blood flows.) If your an earth native then you are probably born feeling connected to earth and generally content. You may not be too analytical and may not pursue spiritual knowledge, because you are comfortable the way you are. Throughout my childhood and up I felt there was something beyond all this and I was determined to figure it all out. Perhaps I wouldn't have strove for this if I was very grounded and generally content with everything. I would have had an inertia to accepting the way the matrix control system is.

Anyways... I don't know if all that is true, but what I do know is that stretching out the feet really helps open energy channels from the earth up through your feet and legs to the root chakra. I don't believe meditation is enough to open these channels, because alot of the blockages are physical and would require a ton of energetic pressure to clear, not to mention a lot of pain (as is my case ((my feet are extremely rigid and tense.)))

Today I was thinking about how I could stretch my legs and feet better. I was doing the typical bending down and touching my feet while standing for like 15-20 min straight (I badly need it,) and then I thought that maybe I should just crouch and stay crouched. It is a tremendous workout and stretching sensation for the feet. I held this 3 times for about 30 min each. My feet and parts of my calves would go numb, I would feel a strong burning sensation in the soft middle part of my feet, around the big toes, and around the ankles. I noticed that it greatly stretched out the muscle and tendon above the heel of my foot. I noticed that I already felt more grounded after this. At the start of the stretching exercise I was tired, but afterwards I was energized. I realize that in order to get more energy I need to stretch out my feet for at least an hour everyday and going jogging as well. My tense are rigid feet need to become soft and flexible.

We are moving from a state of awareness that is rigid to one that is more fluid. I believe our bodies must move accordingly as well. In order for a physical body to support a lot of energy it needs to be in tip top shape. You don't necessarily have to be buff, but you need to have good blood flow in every crevice of the body and you need to have non stiff muscles.

A lot of people think that the only way to open up chakras is through meditation, but I've recently found that stretching and exercise can do the same thing and often times a lot better. My upper back, stretching from the beginning of my neck down 6 inches, is very tense. I do a stretch where I lay on my back and then I flop my legs over my head. I try to stretch that upper back as much as possible (it can be painful at times.) In addition to stretching the upper back, this stretch also stretches the chest on top of the rib cage and the top ab muscles. I noticed that I feel more balanced and... human when I do this, (meaning less emptiness and non-emotionless.) Perhaps this stuff of feel emotionless is purely, because of a blockage of energy around that region that causes my assemblage point to be lower. In fact, I am almost certain this is the case. I have to endure the burning sensation and have to stay in the stretch for long periods of time everyday in order to get the most benefit. Holding a stretch for 1 min kind of seems pointless to me.

If we're moving from asymmetry to symmetry, it makes sense to make our bodies as symmetrical as possible so they can then hold the higher vibrations. I have a feeling that a time will come when healing energies will sweep through our body and make us young and strong again. I think we all have a lot of unneeded resistance in our bodies. If our bodies worked flawlessly in conjunction with our mind and emotions we would feel better, require less food, and be able to survive colder climates without feeling cold.

In fourth density, it is said that consciousness is denser in our bodies, meaning we feel and are aware of every cell in our body. Exercise and stretching (especially stretching) increasing our awareness and makes us more in tune with our bodies. I know many of us feel lazy and would rather just spend lots of time on the internet in our free time, but investing lots of time and energy and really trying hard to stretch and exercise often would greatly help with spiritual illumination.

Synchronisity!  I've been working on walking daily and stretching to become more flexible to stave off the effects of aging.  I hadn't thought there might be additional benefits.  Thanks for your tips.  I'm going to print this page as a guide.

Very cool.  I agree.

Last week I ran into my ex-girlfriend from 3 years ago, and her physical was completely changed!  yikes

Yeah for sure.  Stretching opens up energetic pathways!

I feel that time may be short, with the solstice upon us.  Great change ahead soon?

No need to walk briskly, jog or run.  Any convenient time of the day is all right, however it is preferred to do that when the earth is warmer and the sunlight is falling on your body.  When you walk bare foot, an important gland in the brain's center called the pineal gland or the third eye is activated.  The big toe of the foot represents this gland. 25 years ago it was considered a useless gland.  Now it has become an important gland for study and up to now, about 18,000 papers have been published about it.  It has always been known as the Seat of the soul.  The Pineal gland has optic nerve endings.  The remaining four toes represent glands too -- pituitary, hypothalamus, thalamus and amygdala.  Amygdala for the last 2 years has been gaining importance in medical research.

This is strengthened by the earth heat/energy and the sun prana falling on the head or the crown chakra.  The chakras are not in the spinal cord that is an imaginary location; they are definitely in the brain.  All these create a magnetic field and the body/brain recharges with the energy of the sun entering in you.

Some good practical information on here  however We probably have nine chakras rather than seven which fits in with the nature of the holagraphic 3 d land creation based on the number 9 which can only be be itself and repeats itself in mathmatical cycles, the problem with such stuff and terms like "merkaba light body" and seven chakra system is they just get passed on and repeated and accepted in a parrot like fasion. Google "nine chakras" to see more.

There is also different schools of thought on where the sun centre of the body is, the heart, solar plexus  or the crown. personally i think its the heart and that actually its oxygen that powers chi rather than sun prana for all practical purposes and i would be careful of keeping your crown centre open to outside forces, nature works from within to without we are powered by our own internal sun which for want a better explantion uses oxygen as fuel from a 3d perspective.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Re: Stretch Thyself

The crouching exercise is without a doubt working. The sleep I had was A LOT more energizing. Perhaps chronic fatigue syndromes root cause is having super tense feet. The soles of my feet are especially tense. When I'm doing the crouch thing, the soles of my feel feel rock hard. I've already noticed a big difference. I can feel the various areas of the feet that correlate to various organs opening up. Almost every single area of my foot is tense, but I have made such fast progress. I literally sat in the crouching position for 2 hours total yesterday, for about an hour each time. I also held a back bend, and that laying on my back with feet over my head thing. The back bend opens up the chest cavity which allows for deeper and easier breathes. It's very nice.

My feet are my main concern for right now. After that I'll be doing more leg stretches. The one I'll be doing is forward bend. The part where my back thigh connects to my buttocks needs a lot of stretching in addition to my calves and thighs. It'll be nice feel nice and loose in my lower body. That is something I haven't felt for the longest time. I think it is so vital to opening all the chakras.

In a circuit, if any part of the circuit is taken out, the entire circuit thereafter does not function properly. Ever take a bulb out of a strand of christmas lights? I forget the names of the two types of circuits, one is series and the other is something else. One is dependent on all the connections before it in the series to function, whereas the other kind of circuit is not. Anyways, I think our energy pathways in our body are a series, and breaking the connection in the series offsets the entire circuit. This is why we must locate our blockages and tensions, and get rid of them.

One thing about yoga classes that I don't like, is the short duration of postures. Holding a posture for 60 seconds is not enough. I think postures should be held for like 30 min or longer. Our muscles are like strong ropes. If our goal is to lengthen the rope, it will require a lot of pull (stretching) and duration to stretch the rope out.

I can't wait for the soles of my feet to open up and feel warm. My feet have been cold my entire life, yet it doesn't bother me because I don't have much feeling in them until now that is. My awareness of my feet is growing everyday as I do these crouching exercises. I will feel grounded, deeply emotionally stable and at ease, and relaxed as can be. No nervous reactions in social situations will be present. My thoughts will be centered, useful, creative, and loving.

Stuffing our feet into shoes may be a large contribution to losing our connection with earth in addition to not sitting in a natural crouching position as much as we used to as a species. Chimpanzees sit in a natural crouching position a lot. I bet that is what we need to do.

Actually there are thousands of Chakras. There are quite a few old Vedic texts in Sanskrit that cover them in detail. Also, don't forget the Chakras in the hands and feet which are very important as well. This can easily be verified with Chi Gung or various Yogic practices. Some people even say that each Nadi is a Chakra, and there are supposedly 72,000 of those.

But wait I need to slightly contradict my previous statements. In my own experiments I have found you can take just about any model, be it Kabbalistic energy centers, meridians, or Chakras, and the body will respond to it accordingly. This tells me there is no one absolute objective model. Whatever we hold in consciousness shapes the outer world. As above, so below. Of course I'm not talking "The Secret" instant presto change my reality. I'm talking about a persistent application of a certain model until it takes hold in your unconscious mind and begins to create a new experience of reality. This can take years of consistent practice.

And maybe, just may be...15 days or 15 hours or 15 minutes, with a bit of practice and diligence and focus...in these energetic, enhanced, enlightening times that are getting oh so stronger by the day these days.
Persistence and consistency still matter, imho, just alot more matter to enhance the matter in these wonderful heightened times!

I am with you on the models, i had to notice that 72,000 is another nine number.
The original 7 may have influenced by the  "7 planets"  and 7 colours of the rainbow which if you add in gold and silver becomes 9.

Re: Stretch Thyself

Interesting stuff Kahnsentrayshun!  By crouching you literally mean just... crouching right?  Holding up your body weight with bent legs?  It sounds like you're stretching your feet or something.  It's funny because as a kid I never felt comfortable in a chair and I constantly used to crouch in my seat.  I wonder if I should start the habit back up again!  I've recently started going barefoot - here's a cool article on said activity.

http://anthropik.com/2007/06/learning-to-walk/

Walking with your heels sends a jarring vibration up your spine with every step.  Try plugging your ears and walking with your toes compared to your heels.  It is wonderful to walk around and feel the ground again (it's a little bit cold now though smile

By crouching I literally mean crouching. I rest all my weight on my feet having about a 1/2 inch gap between each while having my knees bent. Then I rest my arms and forehead against my computer chair and sit there for a really long time. Tons of blood rushes to my feet, they go numb (because a lot of my foot is not used to that much circulation.) My veins get bigger and the tendons and muscles in the bottoms of my feet get a very strong stretch. In addition the right side of my legs below the knees get an intense stretch too and also become numb. My knees also get a strong stretch. It's getting easier and easier as I do it more and more. I'm noticing that thoughts that once used to bug me, (despite the fact that I can care less about them,) don't bug me anymore. It's a like a fly that I can just brush aside.

I plan on going to the gym and using that one machine where u sit down and push a weight up using your feet and calves. All the weight rests on your knees. I've noticed in the past that this greatly stretches out the tendons and muscles in my feet as well. It hurts a lot when I do this, but it is necessary. You know that feeling in your feet you get when you jump from a tall height and land on your feet. That is the feeling. I think the crouching is simply not enough, despite the fact I've noticed big progress.

There are some other stretches that I have found beneficial as well. One of them is touching your toes while keeping your legs straight. I do a variation of this though. I stack 2-3 thick books on the floor and then I rest my fists on the books and hold the position. Stretching the muscles where the thigh connects to the buttocks is very important in addition to that long tendon that stretching from your heel to the butt. In this stretch, my feet also go numb and fill with tons of blood.

The other stretch for the legs that I have found very beneficial is the butterfly stretch. Where you sit on the floor and put your feet together as close to your crotch as you can. I usually leave like a 6 inch gap between my crotch and my feet though. This really stretches out the inner thigh and joints near the butt.

I am 100% certain now that the largest obstacle in my path towards spiritual evolution is not being grounded enough, and I owe this lack of grounding to the tension in my feet, legs, and buttocks. Knowing this, everyday shall be spent in exercising all my leg and feet muscles, and stretching them A LOT.

For the longest time I have had no appetite for food, I have felt restless, I have felt empty, my breathing has been uncomfortable, and I have felt tired. I have felt tired all the time. I remembering reading that if you are one that is tired all the time, it is because of an imbalance in your energy body. This imbalance is due to more energy coming in from the crown chakra. I thought this chronic fatigue was the result of going through ascension symptoms, but I am convinced it is really just an imbalance in the energy body and that this imbalance can be corrected. It'll be interesting to see how all of this comes out. I can remember what it is like having tons of intelligent and loving energy flowing through me (remembrance of the future or before we fell perhaps.) I can't wait to complete my circuit once again. Once this is done, the energy that comes in will be recirculated instead of dissipating outwards only to be fed upon by hungry non-self-sufficient spirits.

The Mayan Calendar has 9 levels as well. I've never looked in depth at 9. Interesting...

I know that feeling; most of the symptoms you describe, Kahnsentrayshun I feel myself day-by-day...I catch myself spending a lot more than reasonable  time sitting in a rigid posture in front of my computer, (sometimes the whole day) never make it to the gym where I am a member....-  that may be a factor in your case, too...? Internet is addictive, even if we use it to educate ourself and for intellectual/spiritual growth - we ought to limit ourself and take care of our body.

I wish you persistence to go through with your plans. Also may I suggest to take a 20 min warm (not hot) bath to loosen those tense muscles the gentle way before you proceed to the stretching/dynamic exercises? You avoid injuries that way, beside it is pleasant. Make sure to rest after the bath before going to the gym. At the very least a foot bath can help, and is easy to do.
