Minions

So far, I watched the first one and some of the second.  Its funny, I've seen news clips of Afghanistan, where you see people walking by and there is marijuana growing alonside the road, ignored, like any other weed. 

You have these people here, who wear a costume and carry a gun and badge, and say they are here to protect and serve.  I actually believe many of them.  I tend to be gullible and trusting. 

I would say this.  If people want to experiment, recreate, habitually use, compulsively use, addictively use -- hopefully it is only the first two descriptives -- then they should not be prosecuted at any time unless it is some minor ticket given, without a very heavy fine.  BUT, let them be aware of this; the very first time they injure another in any way shape or form while under the influence, they get nailed with a very severe penalty. 

I hope we are evolving to the type of people who would only want to use drugs in that it aids in some mystical rite or something along those lines, rather than wanting to simply experience pleasure.  We don't have very many centered people in America, too many Americans are under the stress of information overload.  When the mind can't handle stress, it wants unconsciousness.  So I might have put too much slant on people getting drunk or drugged up merely for the pleasure, when a large part of it is wanting to be less conscious.  There is too much uncertainty in the world.  That is another important point, when a person feels certain, the person is centered, and has peace of mind.  Becoming certain is the ability to recognize patterns.  What patterns? one might ask.  Personally, I'm still working on that myself.

Yeah, my attempt above, was pretty crummy.  In many cases, a crime is actually mitigated by the fact that the perpetrater was not himself at the time, seeing as how he was under the influence.  A lot of criminal activity is either initiated, and/or enhanced by the fact the person is intoxicated by some drug.  The topic requires much abstract and involved thinking.  In this manner it compares to why we discuss seven of the ten, or maybe twelve.  There is simply too much abstract and gordian thought required in freely discussing the five hidden globes.

Nyarlathotep, your statement above bothers me a bit.  But only one thing comes immediately to mind in why I might be bothered by it.  You are positing an opinion in regard to hierarchy.  You might not have even been aware of doing this, but you did.  Again, the discussion of the subject of hierarchies within hierarchies will lead to abstract and daedal thinking.

We are not GIVEN responsibility hence are are NOT responsible, very very simple. The ONLY reason people act like children is because they are treated like children, and I know everyone feels this in their gut. I for one and sick and tired of government, entertainment, and education treating me and everyone else like children. They are slaves who treat you like a slave.

Yeah, there is a new book, I never read it but would like to.  Something about the USSA, United Safer States of America.  A guy got in trouble because he travelled with a skin rash that could spread to others, making them have an itchy skin rash as well.  On another line of thought, it all seems very orchestrated.  If a person holding a Phd. attempted to take the college entrance exams of a high school graduate of say 1898, he would fail miserably.  Just up to WWI, US education was extremely difficult curriculum, only to be gradually and steadily diminushed.  Wilson went over to Europe and played with socialistic idea's.  Structure of government radically changed by one party, when they chose the Supreme Court to oversee the Equal Rights Ammendment, which has never been ratified, over Congress, or state legislatures.  Steady flow of small regulations into the federal register -- over 130,000 in '94 & '95 alone -  making us pretty much a despotic controlled nation.  The republicans act like, 'well, we can't do anything to change what they did, now, its too late,' so they just use what the democrats made.  I don't know if the two parties worked together in this, or if they aren't anything more than two parties who are controlled by two seperate puppet masters, one group wanting some kind of socialistic utopia and the other liking the old 'King' type of government.  Maybe we, the brutal masses have to be controlled by any and all means necessary in order that we are not always killing each other over what in originating cause was something stupid.  Keeping us divided and polarized, entertaining us, and introducing sublimenal messages, and many more tactics.  I wonder why it is so seemingly impossible for global humanity to act like brethren.  I'm not going to blame everything on government.  Why does humanity find it impossible to follow the Golden Rule?  What is wrong with us?  I suspect the correction has to happen with each individual.  Now that is a grand endeavor.
