Topic: Symbols in the mundane

So as I was heading home yesterday I had to stop behind a large school bus at a stop light.  Something caught my eye - the two red circular break lights at the bottom had a familiar pattern in them.  I have no idea if this is something new, or if I just hadn't really noticed it before, but these lights had pentagrams inside of them!  No mistaking it - the little "beads" that light up from under the casing formed perfect five-point stars.  After living with a new awareness for a few years, I don't think I could classify this as coincidence.  Has anyone else seen this?  I noticed that the school bus was a lot larger than your average school bus, and it seemed much taller.  I don't know what this means.

What kinds of creepy symbolism do you come across in everyday life?

Re: Symbols in the mundane

I've seen the hexagram/ Star of David/ Star of Saturn/ Solomon's Seal on both the earpiece of a telephone and a salt shaker.  Both hexagrams were made up of 13 holes.  Holes on the phone for sound to travel through, and holes in the salt shaker for salt to come out of.  Just like the hexagram on the back of the U.S. dollar bill which is made up of 13 stars.  Methinks something is going on here.

Cool topic madsketcher.
