Matter doesn't exist - explanation for beginners

This is fascinating.  I want that book.  I read once that quantum physics is a theory in physics that is based on the principle that energy and matter have both the properties of a particle and a wave, and is used to account for various physical phenomena, such as discrete packets of matter and energy, the uncertainty principle, and the exclusion principle. 

However, a particle would be matter and the author in that video said there is no matter, only living energy.  It must be the Four; electromagnetism, gravity, weak nuclear force and strong nuclear force.  Scientist's still push that Big Bang theory, saying the universe began from an extremely small vortex of the four under extreme temperature, and the four forces began to seperate, one at a time, starting with gravity.  Hydrogen came about next, and I forget how it came to be, but every other element came from hydrogen.  Three quarks make up a proton and gluons hold quarks together so when you split a proton, the fact that you just severed the extremely strong bond that gluons provide, that is what initiates a chain reaction. 

I just made all that up from my imagination for the fun of it.
