Re: Rainbow Brite

I remember Rainbow Brite, I was 9 in 1984 when they were really popular.  I didn't have any of the dolls though and didn't actively follow the merchandising or music......because they didn't have fruity smells like Strawberry Shortcake dolls, my all time faves.  big_smile

It's a whole thread devoted to talking about our fave childhood toys, including the modern yikes that are the "Bratz" dolls.

I'm all about the yummy smells.  (a psychic recently told me "Smell is very strong with your DNA...")   But if Rainbow Brite had smells then I would have been into them.  haha

Re: Rainbow Brite

I remember Rainbow Bright, although I wasn't a fan.  I was too old at that point, and my younger sis was more of a My Little Pony lover.

Myself, I was a Sweet Treats fan when I was little-- tiny dolls (a form of "Liddle Kiddles") that lived in cookie houses, spoons, and sundaes.  In fact, I just purchased a cookie dollhouse on eBay a couple of months ago.

A lot of hidden messages and occult symbols in that cartoon well like all cartoons.
