Topic: Pain in left ventricle.

I've was woken up two or three time last night with a pain in the left side of my heart. Nothing excruciating but painful none the less and I went back to sleep. Now today I've had this pain return about two dozen times and still haven't been to the doctors. I'm 24, reasonably healthy (I don't smoke crack, snort coke, eat crap or smoke or abuse myself) with no previous heart conditions. Before I ring my doctor tomorrow can someone give me any idea of what is going on? I now think I'm acting like an idiot not rushing to the hospital but I think a looming heart attack is most unlikely.

Re: Pain in left ventricle.

Seems to have moved to the center of my left lung now. Should I ring the hospital immediately?

Re: Pain in left ventricle.

I get this type of pain fairly regularly when I'm lying down only. I went to a cardiologist, he gave me an adenosine treadmill test with dye, said nothing was wrong with my heart. I would get it checked out just to be safe.

Re: Pain in left ventricle.

Not sure if you should. Has this ever happened before?
Try taking a really deep breath -- if that makes it hurt or give the feeling of something being stuck/heavy, it might just be the lungs. It might be that the organs around there just need to shift around a little to release some pressure. I only say that because I'm 23 and have had stuff in my chest "snap" after taking a deep breath during/after intense pain before.

I just came across this weird page and thought of this thread.  Maybe this is what was asked for or maybe not.

Re: Pain in left ventricle.

The pain has gone now, which is a little mysterious. I thought it could be some emotional pain after I saw Mitchell Gibson (http://www.consciousmedianetwork.com/me … gibson.htm) talk about the emotional (afaik) body being situated in the lleft ventricle of the heart. Whch is where my pain was, or around there.

Re: Pain in left ventricle.

The last two years have been an intense timeframe for me emotional body-wise, and I have indeed experienced many instances of pain such as you described. Particularly, if the "energy of pain" moves, I see no cause for concern. My experience has been that it is a pocket of energy (ball of emotional "issue") moving due to integration - especially if it's motion brings it to the heart area. If it "lodges" in some spot for more than a day, however, I seek spiritual guidance, not medical assistance.

Since I'm not one to see a medical professional, and have no documentation or concrete mental knowledge of my own or anyone else's experiences... I tend not to mention any of this to others all that much. There's a tendency with momentum in the human condition to seek medical input on the body's sensations, where I tend to trust and wait and listen. I bothered to mention it now, since your experience of pain has passed, and you seem open to the possibility that it might be something other than a medical condition. smile
