Topic: fluoride facts

Did you know?

    * Almost all of western Europe has rejected water fluoridation.

    * Fluoride's primary 'benefits' are topical, not systemic. There is no need to swallow fluoride.

    * Children are receiving too much fluoride today. There is a need to reduce, not increase, current exposures.

    * A growing body of evidence indicates that water fluoridation is ineffective and unnecessary.

    * The fluoride chemical added to water is an unprocessed, industrial waste-product from the pollution scrubbers of the phosphate fertilizer industry.

    * Just as fluoride can damage cells in developing teeth, fluoride can damage cells in other organs as well.

    * Two-thirds of US communities, when given the chance to vote, have voted against fluoridation. Over 70 US communities have rejected water fluoridation since 1999.

Re: fluoride facts

Another fun fact, Flouride penetrates the blood-brain-barrier, and piggybacks other chemicals with it! How many people swallow medicine with (flouridated) tap water?

Re: fluoride facts

There was once a dentist from Ryde
Who was a champion of the chemical fluoride
what a nice smile
they can enjoy for a while
its not my fault if they all went and died.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Strange... Many sites and companies claim tea is a natural source of fluoride. Is it really natural or is because tea is grown with fluoridated water?

The first listing says tea is a natural source of fluoride and I've read from other sources before that say it is also.

Speaking of unnecessary additives to water. Viktor Schauberger was a scientist from the WWII era who studied water, and found that the inward spiraling motion of water keeps it alive. He had patents for piping that produced this spiraling motion thereby ridding the need, (or possibly just reducing the need,) for adding chlorine and other harmful chemicals to water. He was also said to have worked with the NAZIs (against his will,) on flying saucers. He's an interesting guy to research.

I think its because Calcium fluoride is naturally occurring in the soil, and some plants pick up more than others like the tea bush but naturally occurring calcium fluoride is not supposed to be as  harmful and toxic as the chemical fluorides used commercially and does not have a free ion at the molecular level. White tea is the lowest in fluoride as its made from the flowers, then green tea then black tea has the most fluoride.

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Re: fluoride facts

It gets to me that my country Australia is one of the most rigorous users of fluoride in water.  I'm glad though that water filters that block take out fluoride are becoming more available here but it galls me all the same that I need to do it in the first place!
