Topic: How to prepare for an alien invasion

This is the latest US news story from Reuters: How to prepare for an alien invasion

Y'know, when I see something like that in the main news headlines (and they're actually serious), I have an overwhealming desire to stock up on aluminum foil and start makin' those little pointy hats. tongue

Our best food, most comfortable chair and our hottest looking male and female models as an offering of peace. The first thing you say: Who wants a hug? And a hope it doesnt turn into every other meeting of different beings....a mess.

Sure it would, hahaha. And if the aliens attack us with technological gifts, medical cures, big answers, and a handshake, what then would be our best defense? These authors should read William Bramley and Allies of Humanity for a more realistic scenario of how planets are attacked. And even then, it is no more an attack than a farmer "attacking" his crops at harvest time.

Acquiring fringe knowledge is like digging for diamonds in a mine field.

Re: How to prepare for an alien invasion

Fortunately someone has already organized an "Alien Resistance Movement": Thor Templar of the Earth Protectorate Lord Commander of the North American Sector. This is a clip from BBC2 - Louis Theroux - Weird Weekends - UFOs.

In searching for this clip online I found their homepage, and then this site where you can get stickers. It looks like they peaked years ago and now are in decline or their project has been abandoned. Perhaps the aliens launched a counter offensive and have killed off most of the organized resistance fighters...

Yes, he certainly did!  He was a genius at taking large, complex issues and putting them into simple and profound statements that demonstrate his unique humor.  Brilliant man!  I really like many of his quotes (too many to post in my signature!).

Yeah, that's what I thought, too, when I saw that last sentence of the article.  It kind of struck me odd that they would say something like that, but I suppose it's intended to get people's attention.

The whole idea that these two men would be writing such a document is so elementary and, well, bogus (for lack of a better term).  After finishing the article, a  thought struck me.... Let's say that TPTB are finally realizing that they're in WAY over their heads, and either: a) they know that an all-out war with the Grays is on the near horizon AND/OR b) one or (god forbid) more of these "anomalous celestial objects" (y'know the "oddball" foot-ball shaped "asteroid" that's got a 4 hour period of rotation) that is sitting just on the edge of (or inside) our solar system is actually 'da mothaship of the "bad guys" and an all-out war is on the near horizon.  TPTB would never admit any foreknowledge of dealings with these beings to the general public, and they want to appear just as innocent and surpised as the rest of us when the shit really hits the fan.  And there's the snag, because after so many years of absolute denial of the possible existence of UFO's and/or aliens, they are now faced with the great challenge of slamming on the brakes and reversing the mass consciousness' beliefs.  While they can't come out and admit that they flat out lied to us, they have to devise another tactic.... acclimating the public to hearing of the "possibility" of an alien attack/invasion (just like hinting around the "possibility of Global Warming"), while they know damn well, it's already underway!

I think this article was an attempt to gauge the public's reaction to hearing something like that article.  Scientists have a gag order not to discuss which species are becoming extinct because of global warming (and the more "dramatic" possibilities of said Warming) because they don't want to cause panic in the population, but hey, it's all of a sudden okay to discuss the possibility of an alien invasion by a couple of "reputable" scientists who "have done consulting work for the Defense Department and the U.S. space agency NASA"?  Something doesn't add up for me.  Because the natural response would be to say, "Sure, they work for them... they're disinformants"  But wait... they're not trying to debunk anything... So what's up with that?  Since when have people who've had anything to do with the DoD or NASA been allowed to seriously publicly speculate about aliens?.... And that's when I realized what they're playing at.  They're not owning up to anything nor pointing any fingers at situations already in play.  They're "speculating" and taking "preventative measures" for something that I suppose they just now feel the public should become aware of.  The general public, though, is going to need something more "shocking" than just a "possbile" invasion.  I doubt anyone even noticed or cared about that article (from either side of the denial-belief fence).  But for me, it sent up a huge red flag!  I'll be very curious to see if they'll try to drop more hints here in the near future (with more articles about space life related news), because I think their time is running very short.

[EDIT:  BTW, I was just at Reuter's website, and this article we're discussing is the second most viewed artcile today!  I guess there are more people who are interested than I thought!]
