Clip from the Family Guy episode where toads become popular to lick for the drug effects..
Peter says he tried drugs and flashbacks to him in the next (3rd) dimension and says he's freakin out. The drugs made him jump into the next dimension! The only drugs mentioned in the episode is the frog venom, which I'm pretty sure is DMT. Considering that a lot of people would agree that dmt lets you into a higher dimension, I thought it was cool that Family Guy would make such a reference.

Actually, Bufo toads contain no DMT, though it is a close relative, bufotenin.  It has nowhere near the same psychedelic capabilities as DMT though, and has much stronger and more unpleasant physiological side effects.  Bufotenin is present in certain south american plants that also contain DMT though (and 5-meoDMT) which might be how that got associated for you, since it is present in some more exotic ayahuasca preparations.

Sweet.  Still not DMT though.  It may be closely related chemically, and have some features of the experience in common, but doesn't take you to the DMT space.  IIRC though, it is one of the endogenous tryptames, and is very interesting when combined with DMT.

Bufotenine is present in the Fly Agaric mushroom too AFAIK as well as being a homeopathic remedy for excessive masturbation, epilepsy, convulsions and incoherent  anger.
Featured in the Simpson's too in one episode smile

Its not like we are fractions of the whole but rather versions of the whole.

Some can kill in a few minutes...
Here the poisonous is common, but the cats do not mess with them.
