My nick was the first thing that came into my head when I first registered with Yahoo many years ago. For some reason I thought of Tarzan at the Earth's Core.

Since then I've realised that pellucid means clear or transparent, so you could call me the clear or transparent one. That's probably why I seem to be invisible these days, especially when trying to get served in a shop.

Sounds ghetto, but I saw someone use the word "proto" as their grafitti name when I was younger and loved it. It was tagged around my neighborhood and then I experimented with grafitti tagging in middle school and parts of high school (my tag name was sonic...um, cheesy) . School was that boring, yep, hehe. I was weird. Oh well.

Also, according to dictionary.com, proto means: "indicating the first or earliest or original; "'proto' is a combining form in a word like 'protolanguage' that refers to the hypothetical ancestor of another language or group of languages".

Interesting, I suppose.:o

...well, like thr33tim3, I tend to see 333 a lot, so since I couldn't use his handle, I came up with another, one that I could use in a sentence if I wanted to...so, b3li3v3 it! That, and I've got a "V" in the word. I like the idea of Guy Fawkes a lot.

plus i was a teenager when i had my firstborn and, well, lots of people call me momma.  it's my nickname IRL.  *shrugs*

i've thought about changing it to lyttylbyrdy but whatevah.  it'll do.

As I would define it in a dictionary: "A funny cloud" or "sky demon". Although not really a cloud or demon at all, despite having the power to control all aspects of the weather. "Skyalmian" was one of twelve demons created out of thin air by Ganondorf Dragmire in a fanfiction story I wrote (deleted story last year) taking place 4 years after the events of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. During the creation process Ganondorf screwed things up, so it ended up being cloud-like in appearance but was actually made of fluff (fuzz like a teddy bear's, very nice to ride around on), had a squeaky voice, a flighty and humorous attitude, various flaws such as hyperactiveness and poor memory, oh, and had a benevolent soul, and thus stood out from the others in that it never hurt people / destroyed things when told to (only one to virtually never use its powers). It was excessively picked on a lot by its "family" and rebelled against Ganondorf by aiding the good guys (Link, Zelda, Sages, etc.). I didn't know it at the time, but most of what this character's personality was like was a stunning reflection of me. It took a while for me to find that out.
