Topic: the shift is getting stronger

Take a look at http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=1390332 The posts there are usually about weight training and girls and steroids and girls and bodybuilding contests... and girls. Now suddenly Atomic Dog sounds like someone on NR.

Lyra has often mentioned how, when she brought up some "woo-woo" idea her co-workers won't even think about the subject. I used to get the same response but recently it's changed. It used to be "I won't think about that, I'm changing the subject"; now it's "Ha ha, strange idea" or "I disagree". This is a _big_ cognitive shift, from refusing to allow the idea to exist to considering but disagreeing with it. A few folks are even open to the possibility of "alternative" concepts (usually negative conspiracies sad but one step at a time). Is anyone else seeing this?

Yep, they still look at you like you are mentally ill but they don't run away. Now they are willing to at least talk about some things but certainly not all.

I fully agree with you Starling, I see it more and more even with previously pig headed and arrogant friends and colleagues....I think as the world descends further and further into madness and the environment degrades at an ever increasing rate, people are finally starting to wake up and are being forced to challenge the established ideas as the 'business as usual' scenario is becoming more and more obviously the road to humanity's destruction

Yeah it usually takes the conspiracy bit of your awakening process at the beginning to give the whole counter-culture viewpoint that many people gravitate towards after asking themselves "Isn't there something more to life?"
For me personally, I went off the handle by perceiving all these things, shadow elements of the government, shapeshifters, reptilians, mantids, before I read anything about them. Reading books from Icke verified what I already had perceived and felt. It was during this period of intense perception, of essentially projecting myself into their meetings, that I wished there was a group I could meet with for guidance and support...the equivilant of a Jedi council. Meditation, the Toltec teachings, montalk's pieces and this forum all contributes to my current learning stage right now and forms my current Jedi Council.
Delving into the conspiracy realm, unless accompanied by a higher ideal, is dangerous. Getting caught up with a critique to such an extent you fail to realize your inner vision is a lonely path.
Only recently have I come to realize our own Jedi Council is within ourselves...your Higher Selves can be accessed if you need it at the time.

Can you share more about this?  Would this happen intentionally in a waking state, more often in a dream state, or perhaps through another mode of perception?
