Topic: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

I should really sign up there and ask someone, but for some strange reason I feel like asking here...

Approximately 2 years ago, I stumbled across an utterley fascinating thread on the Astral Pulse forum. The guys there were exploring the astral worlds of popular computer games.

Let me attempt to explain here.

As I understand (from my limited education on astral travel from many, many years ago) anything that is visualised strongly / regularly enough will in some way manifest on the astral. If something is visualised by a number of people, this will speed up / consolidate the manifestation. In one of the books I read, the author explained how he had met charcters from famous novels, due to the amount of people reading the same book, and therefore putting their thoughts / energy into the same characters.

Now these guys on this forum were asking one particulary gifted gentleman (and yes he could have been simply winding them up) to check out different worlds from different games. The Final Fantasy series was very popular! I read through this huge thread taking big pinches of salt along the way, but became more and more intrigued.

Then one day, the thread just dissapeared. I tried googling it.... gone. Tried archive.org / thewaybackmachine but nothing. Others on the forum were asking what happened to the thread but nobody had a clue.

I then thought why would someone want to pull a thread like that? Not crash the site, but just pull THAT thread?? My only guess, if it was intentional, was that people were learning about what is probably the #1 secret TPTB would like to keep from us. That we are all capable of collectively creating our own reality.

If you think about it, the manifestation process should be much much stronger for a computer game than for a novel i.e. everyone seeing EXACTLY the same world / characters (not conjuring up what they IMAGINE the scenary / characters to look like)

Any thoughts on this welcome.

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

Great topic idea.  Yeah, there's definitely something to that I think.  The same could be said about religious figures. Think of what 2,000 years of the masses heavily focusing on Jesus and Mary has created. !    There has to be infused energy out there in these other realms of all the things that people focus heavily on.

With regards to book characters - authors will often times experience what almost seems like "channeling" while writing.  The characters become real, and take on a life of their own.  They do things that the author was not planning for them to do.  And unless somebody has written fiction, it's hard to understand or relate to this, but I've experienced it.   You have a scene loosely figured in your head, and next thing you know, the character's off doing something else, and you're left staring at the computer screen going, Wow!  Where'd that come from?!   Well okay, cool, that works too!  big_smile  One possible explanation is that the energy put into the characters by the authors begins solidifying something in another realm.  It can also explain why some characters and people's writing really jumps off the page or computer screen while others don't.  It's the amount of personal energy the author is able to infuse their writing and characters with.  Some authors create characters that seem to literally become real on some other level, and the readers will pick up on that.

With computer games I imagine that the process is even more amplified, because like you said, everybody has the same image, there's no imagination involved that's open to interpretation.  The authors who wrote the game infuse the characters as they're creating them, and then those characters in turn are infused some more with hundreds, even thousands of people's intense focus on them as they play the game.  It's almost kind of scary to think about.  More so when we're looking at those very dark and negative computer games involving murder and mayhem, people being bruatalized and such.

Extrapolating from there, we're now looking at Reality Creation.  wink  What happens when you can convince millions.......billions........of people to collectively believe something about the nature of reality, and put all their focus on that, further reinforcing it?   Then what happens?

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

Oohhhh,... what a cool thread!  I mean, the idea you're talking about is very plausible.   I firmly believe that mass thoughts create "thought forms" that may even have some semblance of will and indiduality.  Lyra's response of Jesus and Mary fits here.  Who knows-- maybe even grays are just thought forms, initially sparked with Virtual Reality Programs, then reinforced with movies, books, and pop culture.  I don't mean that alien abduction itself is just a thought form, but that a particular screen memory could be.  But I digress....

Now, secondly, the fact that it disappeared from all known sources lends this concept even more credence.  But can you tell us  more about the details of the thread?  Like, how many people actually visited these worlds, and did these worlds gain autonomy of any sort?  Could just anybody bump into these worlds, or did they exist only for players of the games?  Did this same phenomenon exist as strongly for movies, or does the participation level in video games make it stronger?

Oh, and thanks for reminding me about Astral Pulse!  I loved that site while I was trying to astral travel and forgot about it when I was unsuccessful.

From what I recall, it was only 1 guy who was doing it regularly by request from others, and I think maybe another couple who were also capable. This is why I'm cautious as it could have been a wind up. It wasn't as if everyone was hopping into these worlds and sharing stories.

However, the thread had been going for over a year, and I'm pretty sure the guy(s) doing these "missions" were well respected forum members.

The characters had most definately taken on a life / persona / attitude of their own. A lot of the time, it was reported that they were surprsingly unlike what they had imagined them to be.

Lono, I have re-read your question and I simply can't recall any more info than that, sorry :-(

No, that's OK!  I didn't mean to bombard you, those were just the questions going on in my head.  Besides, you said it had been two years ago.  I didn't expect you to remember every detail. smile

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

Does this mean there really IS a Sonic the Hedgehog ? smile

Seriously though, the concept is sound, and the topic is interesting.

Maybe up until now (these times) we have had not had the power (phsycic energy vibrations) to actually manifest these
creations, but as the vibrations increase, this may start to happen.  Gulp! theres an awful lot of Doom/Scary monster games out there.!

Especially on a day like the 818 gateway when desires are manifested.

Lets make it National 'No Video Games' day. as well

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

Magickal theory has it that everyone can create their own corner of the astral and mould it, play with artificial elementals etc.
You often do this while sleeping. Other times sleep can be more objective exploration.

The idea of accessing egregores made by millions of hours of people's involved play and immersion in these worlds is interesting. Sure sounds better than the folks trying to invoke things from the cthulu mythos (brrr... who ever thought that would be a good idea?)

Lots of anime and video games carry bits of things from occult literature, sometimes meaningful, sometimes someone just liked a name. I remember wondering at a lot of the stuff in games my brother played like final fantasy and xenogears. Not that i see anything conspiratorial there, just cultural cross-contamination. And kind of cool at that...

I would be curious to find out more about this..

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

I’ve pondered on this subject in relation to religion and deity-worship. It’s plausible that all of the energy generated towards religion and other deity-worshipping practices actually makes these archetypal figures manifest in one way or another. Maybe this is the real reason behind praying and worshipping these deities. Instead of calling them from their astral dominion, maybe we’re calling them into an astral existence altogether.

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

maybe this thread I made the other day can relate to this. I find this, manifesting your reality through mind power is very real. http://forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?id=4115  this is too much coincidence to be just a coincidence wink

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

E3mpirical1, I don't see how the thread you presented has any relation to the topic at hand.

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

the concept is the same, with enough focus and energy i manifested something I put my mind to just as with the astral form where people manifest something through thoughts

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

Cool. I'll admit I'm really into computer games, particularly a new one that's coming out called Battlefield 2142. Remember that thought-to-reality cosmic ray that people have been saying will happen on October 17th? The game is coming out that day, and it's a violent game set in the year 2142 AD. Could be just a coincidence, but any thoughts?
I'm thinking of holding off for a day until I buy it...I really don't want our future to resemble what is depicted in this game.
Oh yeah, another scary thing: The demo for the game came out, and I logged onto a "Christian Soldiers" server.  In the loading screen it said "Jesus is coming back soon. Are you ready? Don't get left behind."
I enjoy learning about how people can spiritualize war. But this server felt just plain weird... people were saying, as they were killing a virtual representation of a human player "I love Jesus." I replied with "I love lamp."

"Don't eat any wooden nickels."

Re: Astral Pulse Thread Mystery

yes yes yes!!!! this IS the DEAL.  some say lucifer/the devil was created this way.  the theocracy bands that r talked about in the War In Heaven book talk of this, this is how/what the "bands of theocracy"  and so forth r, its all on planes/levels of 4-5 and so on, all the planes, in the ethereal dimension.  i read in the Emerald Tablets somewhere about the Plane of Sharon, so i looked it up and my god, there really IS one.  couldnt believe it.  thoth calls it/associates it as/ with The Halls of Amenti.  when one researches that its called something similar by other cultures but sounds phonetically similar, even if spelled different, a typical finding i know, but curiously neat.  this is real, i know we get it, and it doesnt require individual belief for it to be real.  its amazing neat stuff. good thread.  i think what everybody has said is accurate.  we MAKE stuff so.  by believing in it and giving it energy.  thats why when somebody dies in a crash or something, and everybody brings a candle to the spot and all that, i do the opposite--do not give that energy.  do not focus on the death scene i say.  and, why go to a cemetary to "talk" to loved ones.  golly--pisses me off, just start talking and they hear, just feel it and do thoughts even.  no need to sit on a frickin grave, theyre NOT "there"...sorry got off on a tangent.
