Topic: Marijuana

Stuart Wilde says "pot rots the etheric".

Now here's the kicker: Pot is an open door to those people. They love it, and even standing around where others are smoking pot is dangerous as the ghouls can jump across a room from the mind of one person to the mind of another. If your mates are on a smoko, run a mile. If you smoke pot yourself, once a month say, you'll get depressed but it won't kill you. But if you smoke all the time your chances of long-term survival against the ghouls is nil.

Here's why: The THC in pot and marijuana is in the oil and that is stored in the brain. There is no way to get rid of its long-term build up. It interferes with synapses in the brain and creates paranoia. The ghouls feed off fear. The adrenalin that is produced by your fear is their soul food. They sell humanity fear by talking to the human mind. They have entire TV stations dedicated to the production of fear for them.

Pot rots your etheric. You walk as if covered by a blanket full of holes--you have no defense.

Now ok,

Side 1: It rots the etheric. It interferes with synaptic activity.

Side 2: As put in bold, "entire TV stations dedicated to the production of fear for them".

Now for MCS-conspiracy theorists, wouldn't this indicate that if the powers-that-be promote it as something "wrong" or "illegal", that it potentially has effects that are undesirable for control? I mean, if pot really "rots the etheric", then wouldn't it be promoted instead of discouraged? Wouldn't that make us all just so 'mellow' and weak, depleted of our magnetic-essence which would ultimately render us impotent towards 'ascension'?

Am I missing something here?

I'm skeptical on the "smoking cigarettes = good for you" concept, but I do think that tobacco has effects towards enhancing psychic-awareness (If people seek out alternative brands). But smoking is a big part of the economy. It has been promoted to such a degree that it is now a steady habit for countless. Yet now the "permitted" campaign against it perhaps leads me to give merit to the idea that smoking = less control for the MCS. Especially at a time of shifting/transition/harvest. But if this formula makes me conclude this, then why shouldn't I do the same for marijuana use?

So my belief is that marijuana does have effects that are poor for the energy/magnetic/astral body, but I also believe that it may fit into life like all other things: with balanced and moderate use. Or perhaps that's my past-time-gonja-fanatic self talking...so is Stuart Wilde half-right or whole-right, or what?

Namaste.

Re: Marijuana

Captain Beefheart played in Seattle in 1980 and when he noticed the ganja smoke, he asked, "How can you smoke that? It's so 2-dimensional!" I realized soon after that he was right. At the same time, I understood its value as a method of shifting your perspective, when the one you had wasn't working. The medical value alone makes it a MVP among plants. I say, look at its enemies (bush, bush, etc.). This gang deals dangerous drugs. Marijuana (though it's not a drug) is the competition for the harder drugs. It's also the most aggressively prosecuted. The enemy of my enemy is my friend! Sure, there might be a reverse psych going on, but we can't know anything for an absolute certainty, given our limited faculties. Bottom line for me is: it all depends on the strain and plant quality, as to the negative or positive effects on the etheric, or us.

Re: Marijuana

I see what you both are saying (Libran diplomacy again!)

I think frequency is a part of it, and of course if your brain and mind are not super strong and your plant not of a high quality, you are at much greater risk. Like everything else regard and care are needed; good intent, good quality and care in anything you do will lead to a vastly different experience. Some people have only had a few trips, and from those trips they gleaned extraordinary insights. At the same time, being that each experience in that case has a uniqueness, there's also an awareness that goes with it that there are no "repeats" in experience. Every day, every minute has it's own distinct and never to be repeated quality.

On the negative side I once met a hard indulger, an every day indulger of it, who was the meanest, nastiest, cruelest and most misogynistic monster imagineable. Perhaps "he" had left the building long ago?

My dad did it occasionally and for him it seemed to provide insights into his way- out art and even make him more relaxed and considerate! But every day? Uh-Uh.

But other than these distinct examples I am not one to talk.

Re: Marijuana

I think when used in moderation marijuana and other drugs can reveal spiritual truths that aren't available to us in our 'normal' state. It seems to me that marijuana connects someone directly with the creative force. They experience a boost of creative energy, which manifests as inspiration and rise in libido. But that's only one side of pot. Uses of hemp for fuel and textile goods number in the hundreds. Marijuana is also a cure-all for many illnesses, including cancer, research of which has been heavily suppressed. Not only that, but marjiuana can be eaten instead of smoked to be ingested, avoiding any potential lung damage. I think the campaign to stamp out marjiuana use is going on because it has the potential to wake up many people spiritually and 4D STS doesn't want that. I genuinely think that occasional use is okay, when searching for clues and hints to the true nature of our reality. However it should never be depended upon, as obsession and/or addiction really will "rot the erheric".

I feel very strongly on this subject because a spiritual tool in the form of an edible plant that could 'wake up' millions of people is being demonized and heavily suppressed by the powers that be.

Re: Marijuana

I totally agree to your opinion seeker. I very much share it as I was a regular 'partaker' (meaning daily) for about 2 solid years (University...what can I say...). I can pretty much attribute my pre-awakening to this plant.

BUT!

This thread is in regards to asking the question: When you smoke it, does it have a negative effect of 'rotting' the etheric/energy/magnetic body?!?

If it does, then the 'awakening', 'mellowness', perspective-'opening' effects mean diddly to a serious-seeker who's on the road of the 'adept'. In regards to what it can do to someone 'asleep' is a great thing for the general populace, but if it rots us and/or if it attracts negative forces like a astral-homing-signal, then I have to be serious to myself and eliminate it from anything I partake towards.

Tis a sad thing, but as Christine has brought to my attention, the question I know dwell towards is: What does it do for me? Why do I look forward to it so much? Osho suggests that such things bring happiness because they magnetize our attention to the MOMENT. To the NOW. Instead of thinking of the past or future, happiness arises when we are aware of the present.

I digress...so if anyone has any other sources other than SW that promote the theory that pot is a 'no-no', or the opposite, please share. (obviously a side of me hopes for SW to be incorrect so at least I can feel comfortable in occasional 'fiestas', hehe)

Re: Marijuana

Right on, Seeker. Legal hemp could save the small farmer. Hempseed is second only to soy for nutritional value (and easier and quicker and safer to use). One thing I forgot: Fritz Springmeier has stated that marijuana screws up the mind control programming which has afflicted many. It tends to disorder the order which has been imprinted onto the chaos created by the trauma. A plant that de-programs. It can be used to produce lighter, stronger concrete. Henry Ford built a car out of it (it ran on hempseed fuel, and was more resistant to crash damage than steel). Clothing from hemp outlasts cotton 20-1. "Every seed-bearing herb". It can grow nearly anywhere. A perfect biomass for a troubled planet.

This is an extremely interesting thread.  Is Mary Jane a "bad girl" or is she a "good girl"?

I don't really have a desire to go into my personal experiences on an open forum board, but I find these comments ringing a big ole bell of truth for reading them, I hadn't had these thoughts before myself so many thanks you guys--

And here's another thought, my own, that may pertain to this thread.  Maybe this is something everyone else already considers and it hasn't needed to be said--

Was "natural" tobacco causing our ancestors to develop lung cancer and heart disease, or was it not until the chemical additives of our time were added to the natural form of tobacco that these health issues arised from?

And what about the paraquat (spelling?) that was being sprayed on weed fields?  Did it make an otherwise harmless natural plant into a harmful one?  One doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to know that this would cause issues... whether or not it's being smoked or ingested.

Re: Marijuana

From "Return of the Warriors", by Theun Mares, Chapter 10, page 231:

"At this juncture I feel that it is appropriate for me to offer a word of friendly advise.   In this day and age, in which there are so many well-meaning people who are genuinely searching for the truth, drug abuse has become a serious problem.  In their attempts to achieve altered states of perception and hoping thereby to gain a glimmer of knowledge, people of all ages have allowed themselves to be conned into taking trips.

"As is clear from this book, there was a time when Toltecs too walked the path of drugs in desperation.   Thus we do not stand in judgment of those who still walk this sad path, but from personal experience all true Toltecs will agree that in the end the results do not justify the ill-effects of drug abuse.   Anyone who wishes to have real knowledge must become a whole person and must have all of his faculties fully operative.   However, the damage done by drugs both to the brain and the nervous system of the physical body is irreparable, and this renders the person concerned unfit for warriorship.   Once the brain of the nervous system has been damaged, full control of the emotions, and threfore, of intent, is impossible."

I work with a guy who's 28 and sounds like a full time pot head.  "Sounds" like, you may wonder.   What does that mean?  How does one "sound" like a pothead?   It's in the way he talks.   Slow.   Like his head is baked.   We got to talking one day and he was saying how he's sober but people "for some reason!" think he smokes out all the time.   I was like, Well yeah, I mean, you SOUND like it."   He looked shocked and was like, "What do you mean??"   I told him that if I knew nothing of his personal habits I would bet my LIFE that he smoked weed all the time.   He insistantly denied smoking weed...........presently.   But he quit 8 years ago after being a pot head.   I said (in my typical foot-in-the-mouth blunt Scorpio fashion)  "Well yeah, that's even worse because you were smoking it when your brain was still developing.   When you smoke it when you're young, you permanently damage your brain, and you'll still sound like you're smoking it years after you quit."

He had nothing to say to that, totally speechless.   He wasn't mad, just caught off guard.

At any rate, he's a cool guy, but, not the sharpest knife in the drawer if you know what I mean.  It has to be from all that drug abuse he partaked in during his teens and early 20's.    He sounds slow and doped up, moves slow like he's doped up, is slow to catch on to things, not that sharp, and he'll be that way until the day he dies, because he damaged his brain.

I don't go around lecturing people about drugs, and I'm not going to start now.  But since you asked about whether pot is really good or bad, my personal experience in dealing with those who smoked it recreationally is that it's bad.   It's f***s up your brain, and it's irreversible.   You can't undo what it does.   I've smoked it and I wish now that I hadn't.   The minimal amount I've smoked did a little damage, in my personal opinion.    The damage it did is subtle, and wouldn't be noticable to others -- but it's noticable to me, because I'm me and I live in this body and own this mind, so I can see the "before and after" difference.

I don't doubt that pot "tears at the etheric".   My brother was a pot head, and was also a major target of dark entities.   He was bare minimum, carrying around a crapload of attachments, if not an actual victim of posession.   Do I equate pot smoking with posession, attachment, darkness, etc ?    No.   But what I DO believe is that it certainly makes it EASIER for this stuff to occur.   When you're high, "out of it", and not in full control of yourself or your mind, things can - and will - take advantage of that.

You're going to do what you want to do, but, we're offering feedback here because you asked.   If it doesn't make a dent with you, maybe it will hopefully with someone else.

Re: Marijuana

Well maybe one day a PhD w/ auric-vision can do R&D work on this subject.

I know I don't 'need' any external substance to live my life and be content. It's just a wonder why a natural-plant (perhaps brought here from ^) could rot the etheric. Given with abuse anything can rot you, but SW makes it sound like even once can mark you for negs and puncture 'holes' in your astral-body.

His formula is 'Pot -> THC -> Interferes w/ Synapses -> Creates Paranoia -> Produces Fear -> Food for Entropic beings'.

DUN Dun dun...

Re: Marijuana

Since I am the Christine, BB mentioned in this thread above - I thought I might add a few thoughts.

Firstly, it isn't "because" SW says "pot is bad" that I think it's "bad" but because by my own observation, pot smokers, as Lyra said, are slow.  I know this is going to get disputed all over the place but it's been my observation.  Slow reflexes ... slow time down (drive at 15 miles an hour), slow to complete jobs, slow to confront their lives and handle relationships ... just slow.

Pot smokers, to my observation, are also very wooden emotionally.

As for wrecking the etheric and it being irreparable ... I don't know.  I don't think so.  Theun Mares said much the same thing.  That the etheric can be torn.  I do not believe anything is irreparable for the spirit.

Hell, I can't see the etheric, am not convinced it's true (not convinced it isn't) ... so I really don't know.  But, what I can see ... is that pot use, especially over a long period of time, is detrimental.

But, that is a value judgment of course.  Perhaps a bathroom remodeling that was started 5 years ago ... isn't that long too wait (my neighbor - a life long pot smoker).

Bottom line ... we can all find justifications for any action, non action, belief, non belief we have. We can find many who agree, many who disagree.  Form little groups of those who agree with us.

To what end?  The path, any path is walked alone.  No one can possibly tell you what to do or think.  It's your life.  Your destiny.

Christine B.

Re: Marijuana

Yes, he said very dire things about yoga, too, and I think his intent is to "scare" people and shake them up in the hopes that they'll get out of their fixations, their little worlds and stop seeing the basket as the eggs. (Here come the eggs again....dun dun dun!)

Personally I don't feel that anything is ultimately "irreparable", but to all intents and purposes, anything which creates attachment and dependence, no matter how innocuous, makes us less effective and harms and blunts our interdimensional effectiveness, at least for a time.

I was merely pointing out what excess CAN do, as in this awful person I mentioned.
No doubt he started young and kept it up. It was his life, and a way of life, (or death?)
and that's to my mind a vastly different thing from doing something occasionally.

Somehow I have the feeling that he "grew up" or down, in the drug and hence never reached brain maturity and was thus caught in a cycle of over-use. At any rate, while it may have done some good to his demeanor and personality several times early on, the continuing use led to an abusive person incapable of trusting anyone or interacting with people in a positive way. I would say that threats to kill someone are negative. So he may have thought that he was like he used to be with it: open, positive vibes, fun, creative etc, but everyone else could see how his personality had changed to the opposite. I would say he had become "dark," while all the while thinking he was still the person he was in high school. He was getting nowhere in his life and blamed others, not the over-use and abuse.

Then, too, he had no intent to heal his aura. According to a book I have studied and respect, the aura is easily healed but just as easyily re-damaged the minute you do it again. So the more you do it the more aura-healing sessions you will have to do as well, and of course if you keep doing it too much you will have to do constant work just to stay current energitically, and this is the same in effect as permanent damage.

So the upshot is use your third-eye, be balanced, and you should be alright to do it occasionally. But many people lack the ability to say when, so they need the dire warnings. They also don't know how to heal their auras and brains, and aren't likely to take the time to find out.

Re: Marijuana

My experience with marijuana is not positive as well. When I smoke I feel it makes me more vulnerable, especially to all kind negative thought-forms of paranoid forms. Even what I would term as disinformation (as I can see when I write down some of these thoughts). I also tend to get completely engulfed in others' worlds (something I already do in "normal awareness", if such a thing still exists). I have tried again a few times in the past year, very light smoking, and it was always the same experience. But I've never really reacted to this drug the same way as others, it doesn't relax me AT ALL, so it may "just be me"... I think Theun Mares makes a good point though, all the shortcuts we try to take in spiritual evolution have a price. And that price can be our downfall.

Re: Marijuana

Auendove, your mention of paraquat makes me think what I should have been thinking when I read that it was being sprayed back then. If, as I have learned since, everything the gov says is the opposite of what is true, paraquat wasn't intended to destroy the crops. What if it was actually an early genetic modification experiment? Was it Colombia that was the primary target? Colombia was the source of the highest quality MJ in the west. If those strains were altered, and subsequently used for developing other strains (because of the Colombian quality), then through cross-breeding over decades the genetic alteration might now be prevalent in much of the supply. Back in the day, it was very rare to find weed that didn't get you high. That's High, not Stoned; there's a huge difference. High is transcendent, Stoned is just out-of-it. Stoned is a counterfeit of High. If you got burned, the stuff just didn't do anything. Over time, overall quality declined. THC production was encouraged in the plant, while other important co-factors were neglected, mainly by sexually frustrating the female plants. The hi-test strains were potent, but unbalanced in composition; not a healthy plant. I think "old-fashioned, naturally grown" herb is rare these days.  The effect individuals have gotten from smoking herb during the last twenty years is substantially different from what came before.   There are really two hemp discussions. Industrial and recreational. The ban on recreational use began as a method of preventing the developing hemp applications, which would have greatly impacted then-current industries. Like paper and textile manufacturing and fuel production. Major players like Hearst had large and vested interests in keeping the status quo. Americans would not have gone for the banning of hemp, a plant most people were knowledgeable of. Sailcloth and levi's jeans are two originally-hemp products that leap to mind. Some early colonists were required by law to grow it. Only by using the unfamiliar Spanish term marijuana, was the government able to hoodwink the people into thinking MJ had nothing to do with hemp.    So we have a two-pronged attack on a natural plant whose crimes are: being competiton for dangerous drugs, and a potential replacement for many pharmaceuticals (hey...the same people run both!), and being one of the most versatile materials on earth, threatening monopolies with a more natural diversification of economy. Every time I think about this, I tend to go off.

Re: Marijuana

aaron-- I think you are talking about the two main strains, cannabis sativa and cannabis indica. Sativa gives you the 'high' feeling resulting in raised energy levels and creativity. Indica gives you the 'stoned' feeling resulting in lowered energy levels and lethargy. It's hard to find any MJ these days that is either pure strain, as they have been interbred and mixed for centuries. Most MJ (supposedly) is about 75% indica and 25% sativa.

Marijuana has a tremendously powerful meta-programming effect. It strips down your personality and you're left with your essence. (Your personality is formed from the physical world while your essence is formed from the spiritual world.) This allows you to rebuild and reprogram your personality from the ground up. This is why some people experience anxiety from its use. Once their personality is stripped down, they no longer have their familiar filter of reality, thus resulting in paranoia and uneasiness. This reprogramming could be used in good or bad ways, but if used to see the world more objectively and to clear out programs that control you, it can have a positive effect.

Interestingly, a major possible side effect of heavy marijuana use is depersonalization. Depersonalization is when your personality is so stripped away that you feel detatched and dissociated from the world. You have no filter left to plug yourself directly into the world. The Elias channel described depersonalization as a possible experience during the ascension process. However I wouldn't advocate or even condone heavy use. Moderate use (one to four times a month) seems to be okay without causing any detriment to personal development. I think it's best though to learn what you can without the help of drugs and use them only when you're stuck in a rut and need a little push to get out of it.

Ataboy seeker.

I have a friend who versed me in all of this. He even goes to a pretty well designed marijuana website/forum where they discuss the strands in great length -- in such depth that it becomes a culture of 'alternative' herbal-scientists.

Where did the two strains originate from? Why would one strain (sativa) promote radiance while the other (indica) promotes entropy. Would this be genetic manipulation of the original, or is this a natural divergence?

You are very right about the depersonalization effect on some people. When I first left-home and went to University, to throw myself into independency and hopefully adapt and learn, the effect marijuana had on me was unique compared to the effect it had on the circle of friends that introduced me to it. I was always talkative, and creative, and spontaneous whereas most others would just become mellow, lethargic, and emotionless. This usually was my response even if I smoked indica as opposed to sativa (in which case it would generally be a enjoyable experience for all partakers). What I realized was that myself and my room-mate (came to Toronto with me) had never smoked marijuana in our childhood, and we had been attracted to each other due to our natural creativity and sense of emotional 'flavour'. So when we were introduced to it, we had a different response than those who had smoked from earlier years. I guess this goes along with the aforementioned posts on the mind and advanced-circuitry maturing through the later teen years, and the application of marijuana being perhaps detrimental to that growth.

Marijuana was an 'escape' to most of them as some would describe as a "way of life". I took it as a big learning experience that evolved my characteristics (because of my intent), but I soon began to experience the cross-roads to the purpose transmuting towards 'escape' rather than the plethora of experiences it was at first. So just like in the 60's where the hippies and the peace-lovers had a huge journey with this plant, I had my two years of experiencing, learning, and then my body and mind began to reject its beneficial qualities. It became less about "wow" and more of "can't wait till I meet up with John Doe and spark one up". So then I can conclude that marijuana can indeed be a "wake-up" call for those asleep to embark through a path that runs side-by-side with its use and then (like all good things) must end, with the seeker moving upward towards greater endeavors.

This thread has been very helpful. Particularly your post, seeker, really made me remember (as it is hard to do when remembering "high"-times, hehe) and recapitulate my journey with MJ.

Namaste.
