Re: Presidential Cousins

Phlux :-)

This is very very interesting!  Given the huge list of Bush "cousins" who were Pres or VP, it certainly does not seem that the US political process is at all random, nor "democratic".  I "see" some sort of behind the scenes manipulation going on ... perhaps the darkside timeloops in action?

Re: Presidential Cousins

Its important to note that John Forbes Kerry is on that list. While many would say "well I dont think it matters that these guys are distant cousins, if you go back far enough - you can see that almost anyone is related to anyone else"

While that may be true - its particularly strange that in this particular family tree we would have this high of a density of political cousins in such promenant positions. Extremely rare. If the argument was really accurate - then we would expect to find a large occurance of well known names in almost any family tree that had a long history in a country - but I dont see that to be the case.

What I think is really important here is that a single bloodline (well two really) has been ruling the US for most of her life. I would think that there is a particular reason for this - I feel that it is important to have a single bloodline in these positions as it allows for the real holders of power to continue with their agenda without having to worry to much about the interference of one who actually has goals for progress of this nation.

Regardless of the figure head in the position of president - the situation here in the US is static - there is no progress and the "major issues" are still debated by the political mouthpieces so as to provide for continual distraction from reality. How many political platforms ahve talked about healthcare reform, equal opportunities for the poor, the desire to "fix the education system" - and how often have we seen that these issues are sure to be around for the next electoral debate. These issues are used in politics for a very specific reason - people have allowed themselves to become emotionally attached (more programmed to be) to these issues, which provides a behavioral-chain for the system to tug on.

Anyway - there is much that can be written on this.... more later I guess.
