I ran across this recently. Ordinarily I would have paid no-never-mind to it had I not had the previous inclination that events of this sort may be taking place over the next few years.
In addition to that, there is a description of a dream and the figure 8 in a crop circle, and I recall PleiadeanHealer recently described meditating on the figure 8. http://forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?id=3805

I don't know too much about this stuff, so check it out for yourselves, and see what you think. StarCat, you're pretty smart, any thoughts?


"A cosmic trigger event is occuring on the 17th of October 2006. This is the
beginning, one of many trigger events to come between now and 2013.

An ultraviolet (UV) pulse beam radiating from higher dimensions in
universe-2 will cross paths with the Earth on this day. Earth will remain
approximately within this UV beam for 17 hours of your time.

This beam resonates with the heart chakra, it is radiant flourescent in
nature, blue/magenta in colour. Although it resonates in this frequency
band, it is above the colour frequency spectrum of your universe-1 which
you, Earth articulate in. However due to the nature of your soul and soul
groups operating from Universe-2 frequency bands it will have an effect.

The effect is every thought and emotion will be amplified intensley one

good, bad, ill, positive, negative, will be amplified one million times in
strength.

What does this mean ?

Since all matter manifest is due to your thoughts, i.e. what you focus on,
this beam will accelerate these thoughts and solidify them at an accelerated
rate making them manifest a million times faster than they normally would.

For those that do not comprehend. Your thoughts, what you focus on create
your reality.

This UV beam thus can be a dangerous tool. For if you are focused on
thoughts which are negative to your liking they will manifest into your
reality almost instantly. Then again this UV beam can be a gift if you
choose it to be.

Mission-1017 requires approximately one million people to focus on positive,
benign, good willed thoughts for themselves and the Earth and Humanity on
this day. Your thoughts can be of any nature of your choosing, but remember
whatever you focus on will be made manifest in a relatively faster than
anticipated time frame. To some the occurrences may almost be bordering on
the miracle.

All we ask is positive thoughts of love, prosperity, healing, wealth,
kindness, gratitiude be focused on.

This UV beam comes into full affect for 17hrs on the 17th of October 2006.

No matter what time zone you are in the hours are approximately 10:17am on
the 17th of October to 1:17am on the 18th October.

The peak time will be 17:10 (5:10pm) on the 17th October.

You do need to be in a meditative state through out this time, though would
be beneficial. The main key time no matter what time zone you are in will be
the peak time of 17:10 (5:10 pm). Perhaps at this time if you can find a
peaceful spot or location to focus. The optimum is out in the vicinity of
grounded nature, likened to that of a large tree or next to the ocean waves.

Focus on whatever it is you desire. What is required for the benefit of all
Earth and HUmanity is positive thoughts of loving nature.

We call this UV beam trigger event, "818" gateway.

Please forward this message to as many people as you know who will use this
cosmic trigger event to focus positive, good willed thoughts.

Everything is made of various frequency of vibrations. "UV" or ultraviolet is just one area on the spectrum.
"science, supernatural, spiritual"...they are all just words, with no meaning of their own.
however they are attempts to signify very real things.
There are vibrations emanating from outer/inner space at all times of various kinds and intensities...since these dimensions are fairly incomprehensible in their true nature to the 3rd level thinker, it makes little difference to explain it to you, but they are real and travel through us and our sector all the time, in fact there is never actually silence in that respect, since the world/universe is made of such vibrations.
Your skepticism is one vibration as well. It brings you what you have at the moment. "plotholes" "new age" "jisquiet" "labels" are ignorance

I've had the feeling, for about a year, that events of this sort will bring about the Great Shake Down of Humanity. I feel it has something to do with our sun's alignment with the galactic center over the next 5-6 years or so. I keep relating it to how a laser focuses and ampilifies specific frequencies of light energy. Except this is on a galactic scale of a much different kind of energy. I also have a feeling it has something to do with gamma ray bursts and their effect on earth weather changes.
     Now, I'm not sure about specific dates, but if StarCat has a sense about 818, then that's good enough for me. Either way, this may be a really good time to start focusing on the reality we want to bring about in our worlds on a personal, global and universal scale. I think it's very coincidental that the Mayan Elders advised that we all focus and send as much "light" as we can to those areas of the world on the verge of a major melt down. How many of us prayed peace for Lebanon and Israel or just complained about the Powers That Be, the Fat Controllers?
     I'm not in a position to head for the hills or live off the grid, and I'm definitely not waiting around for NESARA or some jive-ass aliens to help us poor humans out, just in the nick of time, so I guess I'll do my best to tap into that God Force/Chi/818 energy, and stay positive, focused on myself and my family.
     I'll be at work on October 17th, but I'll use that day as a reminder to stay focused on the abundance in my life and how grateful I am to be able to live at this time in Earth's history. I have a feeling we are going to be witness to some very interesting times.
    The galactic alarm clock is about to go off.

This is a little freaky. I just saw this on the Aya forum. Somethin's up ya'll.

I am deeply confused by the discussion I am seeing on this event. I sounds very similar to many other date-oriented events that have come and gone in the past three+ years (that I've been aware of). I recall the mass-email telling people to meditate on "asking the space brothers to show up" a couple years back. If x-number of people do it, it will be a major event!

I am very open to this sort of thing! On Oct 17th, I WILL be meditating along with you, and I will be sending out energies of balance, harmony, compassion and love for all beings, and affirming and intending that all beings fulfill their highest purposes in alignment with the highest good of all. I meditate on this pretty much every day. In my personal life, I have been experiencing tremendous amounts of stress and frustration for many months now. I know longer believe in the concept that "what we put out, we receive" because I have felt very much taken advantage of and abused my entire life, while constantly doing my best to heal myself and share love with those around me. I am abused by those that I love, and I am disadvantaged by the circumstances that I was born into. I hold LOVE as a much higher energy than fear, and I release fear every day, and stand firm in TRUST. But I cannot deny my experiences, and I do not FEEL very much love being returned to me from the world. I experience abuse and I feel trapped.

Dates like this make me fear that I will not be judged pure enough to take part in this beautiful new world with all of you. I worry that I have felt too much fear in my past and I have missed my opportunities to "accept" love into my life, even though I very much wanted to and affirmed it!

And now, for one day, all the thoughts and emotions we feel are going to be amplified by "a million times"?? Is it going to feel like an all-day LSD trip? How on earth can we ascribe these energetic effects to a calendar date?? If my fiance is feeling depressed today, and she still feels depressed on 10/17, will she be condemning herself to a "prison world of fear" because of her inability to "just cheer up"? Should I just leave her behind and focus on doing positive affirmations of "love" for everyone, to make sure I don't miss the boat? How many "heart chakra opening" meditations and "energy clearing" excercises will I have to do before I actually experience some love, compassion and kindness from my life and those around me?

Hey Pal,
You raise some pretty good questions, some of which I've asked myself. Fortunately, I don't have all the answers, but I have had a few insights lately that make this 818 thing seem pretty significant. I'll explain what I mean later. Just so you know, I'm not the one who came up with it. I just cut and pasted from the Google Groups site. I don't even remember how I found it.
Here's the bottom line. It can't hurt to think a few positive thoughts for one day out of our lives. If life sucks, then make a list of the exact things you would like to see to make it better. Tell your girlfiend to do the same whether she's depressed or not. Think about those things on that day as much as possible. Try not to get too pissed off or get into a negative funk that day, and if you do, catch yourself and go over your list again first chance you get.
I've sort of been working on my list and revising it now and then. My list involves things that are good for myself and my family, like having a baby girl, staying strong emotionally and physically, financial freedom, getting this house we like, and things like that. Pretty simple stuff actually. Maybe I'll throw in some world peace or something. It's like painting a picture or writing a script of what you imagine your ideal life to be. Be creative. It can't hurt. I think as long as you're not wishing someone dead or maimed, then you should be pretty safe.
Don't worry about world peace and that jazz if you're not up to it. Focus on yourself and your loved ones. What would you like to see happen for yourself or for them? The world will benefit one way or another.
Maybe this all made up by some group of whackos. So what? It can't hurt, and it might actually help. You never know.
LSD trip? No, but think of it as a way of maybe having a million times more of a chance of manifesting the things you want in life. It's like loading your own dice for good fortune.
Space aliens? Forget 'em.
Heart chakra, energy clearing meditations? Do as many as you want if you're into that. Personally, I'll be doing the "No matter what anyone says or does on this day, I will not turn into a dick or allow anyone or anything to screw up my day or put me in a bad mood" meditation.
Just imagine what you want, and paint over what you don't want. If your girl is not up to it, then I'm sure there will be more dates. Send her love no matter what mood she's in. Keep it a secret if you think she'll feel worse that she was depressed on "The Big Day." Who knows? Maybe the good things you bring about will brighten her days a little.
Hey, my wife hasn't been in the best of moods lately. I may mention the 818 day to her, and I might not. I'll decide that morning or that day, dependingon the circumstances at the time. Either way, I'll be sending her as much love as she can stand, and while I'm at it I'll probably throw a little love my own way.
I don't care if it's real or not. I'm doing it, but you know what else? I sort of think it's real.

Tim, like ENT Doc said, what if it is just another of these days that come and go. What if it isn't? , what have you got to lose?

Me and Mrs Me booked a holiday in one of our favourite places for the week this is on, so we can relax in nature and have a chill out day, desiring good things for ourseleves and everyone else.  At worst, we will have a nice chilled out day!

I was a compulsive gambler and got through it with the 'Just For Today' affirmations.

I know you are both depressed, but just take a day off work, go to the country/ seaside and have a chill out day, tell yourselves, 'Just For Today' I am going to have a nice day and forget about the past and the future, and have one really nice chilled out day'

And then desire a nice chilled out life, free from fear and negative emotions. (Or whatever you want, but dont forget the rest of the world). And try to stay in that mood, - just for that one day.

JUST FOR TODAY:

Just for today I will try to live through this day only and not tackle my whole life problem at once. I can do something for 17 hours that would apall me if I felt that I had to keep it up for a lifetime.

Just for today I will be happy. This assumes to be true what Abraham Lincoln said, that: "most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be."

Just for today I will adjust myself to what is and not try to adjust everything to my own desires. I will take each day as it comes and fit myself to it.

Just for today I will try to strengthen my mind. I will study. I will learn something useful. I will not be a mental loafer. I will read something that requires effort, thought and concentration.

Just for today I will exercise my soul in three ways: I will do somebody a good turn, and not get found out; if anybody knows of it, it will not count; I will do at least two things I don't want to do - just for exercise; I will not show anyone that my feelings are hurt - they may be hurt but today I will not show it.

Just for today I will be agreeable. I will look as well as I can, dress becomingly, talk low, act courteously, criticise not one bit, not find fault with anything, and not try to improve or regulate anybody but myself.

Just for today I will have a programme. I may not follow it exactly but I will have it. I will save myself from two pests - hurry and indecision.

Just for today I will have a quiet half-hour all by myself and relax. During this half-hour, sometime, I will try and get a better perspective of my life.

Just for today I will be unafraid. Especially I will not be afraid to enjoy what is beautiful and to believe that, as I give to the world, so the world will give to me.
