Topic: ebay/bankcard fraud afoot

I don't know how many realm nobles use eBay, but The last 24 hours have seen fraudulent emails which attempt to gather credit card and password info through emails purporting to be from eBay. I'm so naive, I gave them my eBay password before realizing it was a fraud. I changed my password immediately, and they got no bank info. I wanted to pass this along so others here would not be plagued. It's funny--until it came to my doorstep, I didn't regard this sort of thing as too problematic. Now I want to see these e-thieves drawn and quartered! I hope none of you got stung.

I get the same thing from PayPal (fake; not really from PayPal) saying 'account limited'. I did get at least one from eBay, too.

You know it's fake when the letter addresses you as your email address and not your name. The 'from' field will be the same as legit mail.
