Topic: Prayers for kitty bardo
My beloved cat "Fat Head" (I also called her Bean-Bean most of the time) passed away today. I found her body in the middle of the street in front of the house while wiping off my car windows before going off to work at 5:30ish am. It appears she was most likely struck by a car and died quickly (hopefully)...... No blood or twisted up body, just appeared as if she was sleeping peacefully on her side.
She had just turned 2, the joy she brought into my life was so phenomenal, words cannot convey my feelings. I've had several cats throughout the years, but the bond with Fat Head was extra special and profound, her spirit will always bring memories of the ferocious exuberance for life itself. Truly one of the greatest blessings from the Great Spirit.
She was pretty much a wild child type, couldn't keep her indoors for anything despite all my endeavors. Just figured it was best to let her be her true nature and experience happiness on her own terms. I just felt it would be like caging up her love being forced indoors.
There were times she'd actually chase the garbage truck or even a dog much larger that herself!!!!!!! Another favorite stunt would be sneeking up on the retarded boy across the street, running like hell (when he couldn't see her) and then rebounding off his back
Real prankster for sure. She'd even purr while eating! Live and Love to the extreme, pure delight in just being, I'm gonna miss her in body, but spirit is forever.
Then you have time for everything.
You're never in a hurry.
That's true freedom.
