Topic: Deforestation - film

This is about two ancient oak trees being cut down - captured on film.  I suggest you read the review before you watch the film to get the author's account first.  Then watch the 'wild' horses talking to the police horses - it looks like they're trying to stop the oak trees being cut down.

It made me cry...

When are we as a planetary body of humans going to wake up and protect what's still left for our children?  When are we going to heed the cries of Nature enough to protect her?

Trees lol..

Humanity will draw it's own self into hell. It will be glorious to watch..

Well that's one scenario.  Personally, I'm envisioning something a little more heroic. 

Although, if we, as lighted candles, working with the creator's light and the Stars are drawn into hell, then perhaps our combined light will be bright enough to cast out all of humanity's shadows.

Trees! I love them. Last month I got really into birds. I fell in love with them. I watched them and listened to them every day. Every so often I'll become obsessed with something like that, I don't know why.

But lately it's the trees that have got my attention. It was probably the birds that lead me to the trees. I've been going for walks just checking out all the different kinds of trees around here. They're so amazing. They are just sitting there all the time, Zen-like. No matter what happens they are just THERE. And when the wind blows, they just move with it. Yes they are like Zen masters.

I'm convinced that trees hold knowledge of the events around them. Like the way knowledge is held within stones via vibration, knowledge is contained within the wood of the tree. I sometimes wonder where the "Tree of Knowledge" legends came from... I can't help help sometimes to look at a very old tree and think, "you must be very wise."

I know what you mean seeker.  When I was travelling around the UK in 1990, my friend and I found an old forest next to a camp site we were staying at.  We found one ancient oak tree standing on a mossy hill lit in a surreal golden light dappling through the leaves of the other trees.  We climbed up the mound and touched the tree - it felt very magical - and, yes it felt as if it had watched many things and had much to tell. 

I had a strong sense the tree spirit wanted to talk to my friend, so (being fairly new to 'channelling') I just opened myself up to the moment and said what was in my mind.  It was quite a pertinent message and had an ancient feel to it as if it really had come from the tree.

Later on in that season, we returned to the campsite, with the express wish to visit the tree.  But no matter how hard we searched, we couldn't find the place.  I wondered later, if this had been one of those special dimensional places that Stuart Wilde has talked about recently.  Or maybe it was Brigadoon revisited!
