Re: Amazing Joggling Act

I'm so spoiled Lee.........................once you've watched the Chainsaw Juggler on Venice Beach, California, juggling chainsaws that were really going, (and flaming torches and bowling balls!) and doing that over volunteers from the audience who were laying on the ground underneath him, then nothing else seems to compare!  big_smile big_smile

The guy in the video clip was good though, no doubt...I can't juggle for anything.  I bought those little soft cushy juggling balls and the how-to practice book, and I did it over and over and I still suck!   So I can appreciate what it takes to keep the balls going for more than three spins through the air, let alone creating your own "Juggling Rock Opera" like this guy did!  big_smile  That's talent...

Lyra,

I heard about that guy joggling chainsaws but I have never seen the act, it has to be awesome.  Maybe I'll catch in the internet one of these days.  Those volunteers laying underneath him while he is performing are crazy!

On the other hand, what I thought was amazing on Chris Bliss act was his ability to work the balls and his body to the rythm of the song, the timing was excellent.  That was talent!

Lee

Yeah, I got to see it accidentally, unplanned.  Just happened to be visiting Venice Beach the afternoon that there was a chainsaw juggler on the boardwalk.   People's reactions were actually subdued.   Like we couldn't believe he was going to really do that.   Just the looks on everybody's faces when he pulled the cords of each chainsaw....we all looked around at each other like, What the...?!?!   big_smile   The volunteers chickened out and slipped out from underneath him too!   When looking up and seeing that going on right over your head.....eeek!  You can't blame them!  haha   But yeah, everybody was practically frozen in place as he juggled his chainsaws, and even the guy doing it looked really tense.  But he did it! He also did flaming torches and bowling balls but nothing compares to chain saws!
