Topic: GOLD soaring!!!!!

If i can recall correctly, there were some huge positions short the stock market (betting on it to go down) before 911.  So could it be that the smart money (illuminati) are taking major positions in Gold right now.  Not sure if you guys are aware, but the price of gold has been soaring, and if we do have a huge illuminati inspired terrorist event, or economic collapse, gold is a safe haven.  The price of gold just makes me wonder what could be lurking on the horizon.
