Topic: Truth

The word TRUTH is quite possibly the most destructive, deceptive word in the English language.   The word TRUTH is too often confused with HONESTY.  And never confused with OPINION or PERSPECTIVE.

IMHO, the only thing the word TRUTH does is seperate us.  The word TRUTH is a very interesting word to lexigram.   

Why can't we just search for a perspective that works for us?

IMHO, The only truth is what is stored in our memory banks....the only "truth" is in the past.

I agree. Truth gets the same "flavor" as Reality/reality....all coming from individual perspective.

Two other words I ignore are "try" and "hope"

"To try" carries an unconscious belief of having a good chance you will not make it, do it, accomplish it, etc.
It is simply an unempowered belief in effort, IMHO.  If I am not sure I can accomplish something, then I will say "I will give it my best effort."  Whatever the outcome, then I have kept an empowered state of mind knowing I did give my best effort.

"To hope" carries an inconscious belief that the desire is far beyond our own empowerment.  I think this is one of the  most powerless words on the planet. I never use it.
