Topic: Jim Morrison

The following was written by Jim Morrison and published in 1971 in "The Lords and the New Creatures."

It reminds me of ideas discussed at this forum.
------------

The Lords.  Events take place beyond our knowledge
or control.  Our lives are lived for us.  We can
only try to enslave others.  But gradually, special
perceptions are being developed.  The idea of the
“Lords"  is beginning to form in some minds.  We
should enlist them into bands of perceivers to
tour the labyrinth during their mysterious nocturnal
appearances.  The Lords have secret entrances,
and they know disguises.  But they give themselves
away in minor ways.  Too much of glint in the eye.
A wrong gesture.  Too long and curious a
glace.

The Lords appease is with images.  They give us
books, concerts, galleries, shows, cinemas.
Especially the cinemas.  Through art they confuse
us and blind us to our enslavement.  Art adorns
our prison walls, keeps us silent and diverted
and indifferent.

Re: Jim Morrison

Amazing.  There's been some speculation about whether or not he was a mind control victim.

Yes, I've heard that possibility.

From the accounts that I've read, it seems that he may have suffered some sort of trauma as a child.  But this is merely speculation.

Often things get said about famous people that are not true.

Re: Jim Morrison

I heard from a fan that he disappeared from his band and friends for about a week, then returned walking along a beach at night where he ran into his friends.  His band mates said he had a visible white light surrounding him, then Morrison told them that he had a whole CD in his head and wanted to make it.

Re: Jim Morrison

This is another section from "The Lords and the New Creatures" by Jim Morrison:

Fear the Lords who are secret among us.
The Lords are w/ in us.
Born of sloth & cowardice.

Comment:
This is poetry, so the intention may be to suggest.  I think that the "Lords" are both internal and external.
