Well, probably the next dimension like the astral or the 4th dimension. One part that I left out about that was that he said on the other side of that veil it was all "thought".

I agree with CEdicon...Thanks for sharing your experience in such a detailed and insightful way! I understand what you mean about this reality not being "real". I've read that Salvia has a "death of the ego" effect. It sounds like that's partly what happened in your experience when you resisted following the spiral (or avoided the ego death by not following it). Do you think you'll try Salvia again?
I just got confirmation from my friend that I was actually laying back on the couch for about 40 seconds before I opened my eyes and sat up - thing is for me, after I sat up, that period felt like instantly or only 3 seconds later. But I felt like I had returned from a 'nothing' where there was no time and I didn't remember anything that may have happened during that time.
And yes it felt like it would have been 'death' - but I didn't know in that moment that it was specifically 'ego death' because it just felt like it would have been the utter ending of me entirely. That's what made me open my eyes and come back, reversing the spiral.
Yes, I am fairly sure I will try it again but next time I will not drink beer or even have more than one person around me at all. And I will prepare for it and conciously allow myself to 'ride the spiral' instead of reversing it.
That makes me think I need to give Sally a try again. I've been reluctant to 'let go' the way I need to with it, but I know the experience would be rewarding.
Letting go is the heart of all psychedelic experiences (or all spiritual experiences, one might even argue). I had this actually communicated directly to me during one experience, as the words "don't resist." This works for most everything too, for instance, your body is quite capable of heating itself in very cold temperatures, provided you don't resist the cold (mentally or physically).
Am I the only one who has non-physical entities present themselves far more readily and tangibly with Salvia then other entheogens? I haven't done it for years, but the last time I did it I remember another person in the room (that wasn't there prior to uptake) that both my friend and I were aware of and could communicate with (nonverbally).
The last time I had done mushrooms my mind became free of thoughts for a long period of time. I don't really know if that classifies as "letting go" or just the drug itself, but it was an amazing experience.
Althought when my friend would ask my a question and the thoughts returned, I got confused almost to the point where I didn't understand him, and just wanted to sit in the bliss of silence.

And now I have spoken with Bo again and recieved his 'after-gatherings' - I know they hold weight because I myself have had realizations about the event which only came to me after I had had time to clear my head and re-evaluate and re-remember the experience.
What he said he was aware of was that not only was the 'program going to end' (program being this physical reality in which we all reside) but that it had been _allowed_ to exist by some . . . thing. But that this thing/force had made the decision to 'shut it down' and that he knew and felt that this is what will be happening very soon. He also said that he felt like he was ripped off because he knew he didn't/wouldn't have a chance to 'finish'.
Now aside from all the other sources which are suggesting the same proposition of something big coming to an end (not the least of which being the predicted time of the Mayan calendar end-date), let me share with you all a seemingly coinciding communication I recieved while chatting with a channel for an entity described as both an 'ET' and 'YHVH' (Yahweh - as in the god of the old testament).

Yes I have been familiar with this concept ever since '98 when I read Life of the Cosmos by Lee Smolin.

'theory of cosmological natural selection' presented by Lee Smolin in his book The Life of the Cosmos (1998). In it he details how the 'other side' of each 'black hole' would spawn a universe with certain 'parameters' of reality's rules until universes would 'compete' (natural selection) to be the one which is capable of sustaining life.
But I would propose the YHVH entity to somehow be a physical (or otherwise) manifestation of _this universe itself_ (if indeed the entity does have this power to 'turn off' the universe)
Last weekend I smoked salvia for the first time. My first trip I was able to make an energy light ball that was pinkish in front of my friend who was completely sober. He saw my shirt light up and was confused when this happened because he hadn't smoked any yet and thought he was having visuals. My telepathy also increase drastically after I smoked it. I was able to hear family arguements that had happened in the past in my friend's house. I was voicing what I was hearing and my friend was astonished. I had never heard him and his sister argue before, yet I was able to hear his sister through the noises the fish tank was making. It was as if the fish tank was making very acute distinct patterns in the way it was making sound, that it sounded exactly like a person. During this trip though I was very unstable. I have had around 5 trips on salvia since then. I successfully made another energy ball since then for 2 other friends. When I am on salvia there are dark forces that try to mess with me and distract me. To combat them I have to will them out by focusing on my lower chakras to give me strength. When I have the strength I am much more able to channel the energy through my heart chakra through my arms and into my hands.
Though my trips may sound amazing, they don't even measure up to the trips my friend is having. He has met his spiritual guide in his trips and has gone to higher vibrating realities where happiness is always present. Before these trips he did not believe the ideas I preached about us shifting into fourth denstity. Now he is a firm believer. He is always happy all the time. He says when a negative thought comes into his conciousness he can easily toss it aside. He has recorded all of his trips. I will see if he can share them with you all, (he hasn't yet visited this forum.) I am sure he would be more than happy to share them with you all.
Thank you for posting. That is seriously impressive. Sounds to me like the level of your consciousness' will may be along the lines of some others I've heard about (if I'm evaluating this situation correctly) specifically a day after the session I posted above it was my friend Frank who told me he had spoken with another of his friends about our reactions. What Frank said he was told was that we all didn't do it right, we didn't smoke enough and that we were all wussies. He claimed he could smoke Salvia with maryj more casually and apparently that he could still maintain a conscious state throughout. I thought this to be impossible and wondered whether he really had the ability to maintain a waking state while smoking that much Salvia. I assumed he would have lost consciousness momentarily as Bo and I had. Hence, I will have a few questions.

Did you black out for a moment or did you maintain yourself in a waking state the entire time? If awake, how did you manage to stay awake in body when it first hit you? What was the nature of the pink energy ball? I assume you did it on purpose but why?

Did you 'know' anything about these dark forces? Anything at all - like their purpose in existing in relation to you?

Bo says he knew that this 'program' was being run/maintained by 'beings' who were most certainly not benevolent but malevolent. That they were ending his 'program' and he felt cheated because of it. Strange thing is that he said when he returned and percieved us three standing in the room in front of him, he percieved these malevolent entities to be us - his three friends emobdied in the room with him.

What are the dark forces? Are they portions of a dark reality within which you find yourself? And how do you percieve them to exist?
