Topic: Action Plans

At a get-together of friends I recently asked the questions (more or less):

"Where does a free society end and fascism begin?

What's the final straw for you?

What would have to happen before you either:

(1) realized you weren't living in a free society and began to feel sad about it?
(2) realized you weren't living in a free society and decided to leave the country?
or
(3) realized you weren't living in a free society and took action to regain your freedom and/or the freedom of others?"

Of course, it's a complicated issue and the questions generate lots of "it depends," and buts and etc., etc.

One friend decisively answered that being too heavily taxed (at 80%) would cause her to leave.

My wife answered that the revoking of women's rights would be the blow.  And, the reversal of Roe v. Wade would be a clear marker.

Another answered that being microchipped would be the last line, but then renegged, saying it wouldn't be that bad because he could probably find a way to disable it (providing that wasn't illegal with heavy fines smile ).

My line is probably forced medication.

I've also been contemplating lately "coming out of the closet" in the sense of beginning to speak my mind to all my friends, family and acquaintances about NWO, the Matrix, aliens, spirituality, etc.  ...I'm not considering forcing myself on them.  But I am feeling that the place to start, for me, in choosing the STO evolution is the speaking of truth insofar as I know it to all, and stopping my silence to "protect" others because I think that something like hearing about an alternative view of 9-11 might disturb them too much.

I don't want to a beacon, but I want to stop my silence about some things...

Thanks for bringing up this topic.  I think about it a lot, and have for the past few years.

The next big step for me will be to talk to my parents more openly.  On the economic side, I'm going to bring up the "peak oil" idea again and the effect that it may have on the economy and the stock market.

On the spiritual/religious side, I'm going to talk about the bible and the book of revelation and the period of tribulation - that is a context that they are familiar with.  I think that it may be helpful to have an awareness of possibilities that includes a readiness for change - more change than we have seen in the past few years.

...I was feeling a bit glum when I wrote that post yesterday.  A couple of days back I showed one of my best friends a clip from the Alex Jones documentary "Martial Law" and I think he's avoiding me now.  He was silent during and after the 15 minutes or so we watched, and afterwards, he looked at me with this look (and vibe) of: "Why didn't I know my best friend is a total wacko?"  I think--though I could be projecting some of this--that he was far too shocked and offended to say anything.

It got me down.  I've been searching for positivity ever since, but it hurled me into a realization I was scarcely ready for.  ...I feel somewhat stupid admitting it, too, on this forum...

I've been realizing in the last 48 hours or so that, to a degree, I've been considering this issue of the NWO, Negs, mind-control propaganda, all of it, from a safe distance.  I mean, I've been looking at as something that is beginning to happen or will happen.  In the last 48 hours I've been really feeling to what extent it already has happened.  The New World Order isn't a probably future reality--it's here, now.  It just hasn't gotten as bad as it could.

I knew it before the last few days, but I only knew it intellectually--now I'm really feeling it.  Before, I intellectually conceived of people who were (purposely) programmed and psychically led around by the nosehairs, and today I'm *feeling* it.

I'm busting through the grimness of it.  And today, on the bus, I saw the most positive, bright, smiling man sitting in the baggage stow talking to the driver.  It made me smile.

And, to the credit of the phenomenon of awakening, I surfed over the Amazon.com reviews of the "9-11 Commission".  There are about 150 reviews and most of them are 1-Star reviews telling people in bold letters that it is a lie and a whitewash.

...Essentially what the STSers have done to dominate as much as they have is to sever communication.  It's all so simple, really.  They're military thinkers.  A social structure has been created in which people are expected, encouraged and/or guilted into living in small boxes, cut off, never knowing their neighbors or communicating to them in a meaningful fashion about meaningful topics.
Of course, controlling radio and TV and print and history helps, too.

The internet is a snag in that plan.

If the non-compliant (in thought or action) masses *communicated* more, there would be the validation and courage and feeling of support needed to direct their non-compliance in a constructive way leading to a restoration of balance between the profit motive and compassion.

Just walking your path of awakening is enough, really--I believe that.  Choosing to see truth and care and feel love and integrate your own negativity changes reality.

I am, however, thinking about the quote lately of there being two types of "evil."  There's the evil and then there's the evil of letting the evil flourish unchallenged.  Most of me thinks this is a lower, dualistic kind of thinking that only serves to invoke judgment and thoughts of right and wrong.

A small part of me asks, "What am I going to do?"  Or rather, "What MORE am I going to do?"

I don't know...What flashes through my mind is the possibility of another big, prearranged "terrorist" attack--a big one--generating enough fear to lay the groundwork for 21st century feudalism.  Surfs and kings, again.  And, in that flash, I think of my parents or friends saying, "How did it get this way?  What happened?  How did we miss the signs?"  And in that flash I feel pretty guilty for staying so silent.

I mean, I have loads of friends I talk to about all this--but there are as many I don't talk to about it all.

...Sorry for being so glum...This is miniature dark night of the soul.  A week ago I resolved to integrate my shadows, and lo and behold, I am immersed in negative emotions. smile

<Matt breathes...>

I'm going to write a play...(I write plays).  Maybe a play about a couple (one 4th denstity STS candidate, one an STO candidate--but that would be subtextual and unconscious).  She tries to understand him, help him--but he's made his choice; he wants power, and power-over.  It won't be evil and good, but lover and lover, believing they must separate.  And there will be a second couple--same situation, but maybe reversed (the female STS and male STO)...they reconcile.

Did you ever think about your friends or lovers choosing the STS path and having--at least temporarily--to say goodbye to them?

I think that you are correct.

Once again, I agree.  With regard to the the 9-11-2001  event, my personal opinion is that I am not so concerned that people come to any particular conclusion - such as - "It was definitely so sort of inside job."  I'm more interested in people at least considering various possibilities - and not just accepting the mass media story at face value.

Yes - part of the impact of 9-11-2001 was the realization not just that the event happened - but also  that an event or multiple events like that can happen again.

Re: Action Plans

I have thought about this for a lot too.  I am torn between an instinct to evacuate and also the duty I feel to try and stop what's happening.  I don't think what's happening is necessarily a new phenomenon -- history shows that democracy often ends in tyranny -- and in many ways what's going on with our country is an eerie mirror of the politics of 1930s Germany (substitute "terrorist" for "Jew" as enemy of the people and so forth).

I don't know if any of you have ever read Hannah Arendt but she wrote this really exceptional book called "Eichmann in Jerusalem" about the trial of Adolph Eichmann in the 1960s (he was one of the key figures in implementing the holocaust).  She has this passage where she describes how resistance seems futile against tyranny because totalitarian governments have a way of killing its openings in silent anonymity.  To resist means to expect a knock at the door at 4 am taking you off to die.

But she ends the passage by arguing that resistance is never futile, because no system of oppression can ever be completely perfect.  Some people will escape, stories will be told.  Knowing that people might have resisted  what was going on in Germany in the '30s (and there were those that did) is in many ways inspiring because it means that even against the Nazis people resisted.

And I think I"m coming to the conclusion that at least for my decendants, I would like to say that I resisted and did not succumb to the stifling conformity of this age.  I don't think history will judge this period very kindly, but it remains without our power now to do something about it.

As for telling others about what we feel -- dreamosis I have to say I admire you for taking the chance with your friend.  I totally agree that the most we can do is adhere to our Truth.  Truth always triumphs over falsity, and by speaking our minds, even if we are incorrect about some of the pieces of the puzzle, we add to a discussion that sorely needs to take place.

Re: Action Plans

since i found out about all this stuff, i have been telling family, friends, coworkers, strangers on the street, everyone.  I'll talk to anyone about anything, if i hear someone say something i think is wrong or "society programming" or whatever, i really can't help myself but to throw my opinion in there, i don't hold anything back.  The good part is you help a lot of people figure out what is going on in the world("wake them up") which imo is something everyone NEEDS to know.  You will give a lot of people cognitive dissonance and some may even get angry at you, in my experience if they liked me in the first place then they still like me but they think im a "conspiracy cook" or something until i eventually win them over.  Once you start, you will probably be surprised at how many people already know something seriously wrong is going on, even if they dont know the specifics.  The people that are usually the most receptive are the strangers and casual acquaintances, pretty much the only person that ever gives me a hard time and wont concede anything to me is my mother, and we still have a good relationship otherwise.  As Jesus said, "A prophet is not without honor, except in his own country, and in his own house."

For me, the goal is to try to get the person to go out and start reading themselves, you know, you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink. In my experience i'd say about 10-30% will get angry/run away/smirk, 50-70% will agree with you and you may teach them something but they won't go out and try to educate themselves because they dont have time or they think its a lost cause or something like that, and then another 10-30% actually will go home and look stuff up and figure stuff out, those people make it all worthwhile.  The gift of reality is the greatest gift you can give, there's no greater help you can offer, its a great feeling to wake someone out of the confused/depressed world, i have a few friends that i "woke up" while they were on hardcore prescription psycotropic drugs for depression and the like, you run into them a few months later and they are completely different people, off the drugs, sane, happy, self-confident, downright intelligent, i cant tell you how wonderful it feels to know i had a part in breaking them out of that prison.

In my mind, we can win, we can beat these demons, and telling everyone is how we can do it, maybe the only way.  We have the first good chance in thousands of years to put an end to this bullshit, anyone who knows anything should be out there telling everyone in an effort to hit critical mass

edit: i'm not going around pushing my beliefs on people or antagonizing them or anything, i mostly ask a lot of metamodel "is it possible" type questions, if they are open then i'll try to give them a synopsis of what i think is going on so they have something more specific they can go and search if they choose

Re: Action Plans

Microchipping.  For me, that's where the line is drawn.  If / when it comes down to that, and I'm being told that I have to take the chip "or else" be locked up, or, I'm told that I have to take the chip or else be left out of mainstream life which will now only accept those with the chip, then I'm done.  That's when I walk away from my life.  My apartment, job, my life as I know it.  Done, bye.  I will become just like I've seen in my dreams.

Re: Action Plans

In one of Valierian's books, the point is made that those who insist on sleeping should be allowed, even encouraged to sleep.  It's obvious that we need to focus our energies on those who are actually interested in learning the truth about what's going on.  What's less obvious is that by allowing those who want to sleep to continue doing so, we may actually be helping them more in the long run.   They won't "get it" until things are so bad that it's plain as day ... but at least at that point they'll finally be forced, kicking and screaming, to open their eyes to what's really going on.  On the other hand, if you try to force information on them, they will resist and resent it, and might even develop a psychological block to new information they perceive as related to the "truth" you tried to push on them ... in effect leaing them to more strongly identify with the dark side.   Instead of helping enlighten such a person, you might well be just making a new enemy.

...A good friend said to me once that all we can really do in life is "extend invitations."   At least, that's the M.O. if you're choosing to respect the freewill of everyone you meet and dedicating yourself to STO/STA.

I've been working on the art of extending invitations instead of contradicting or resisting the opinion of another--I try to simply invite them to read this or that, or ask them to try this point of view or that.  In doing it, I find myself asking What If? a lot instead of taking a position.  Some people (the ones who are particularly opinionated) really hate it--they want me to have a definite yes or no, either/no, black and white opinion.  They're the hardest for me to extend invitations to because my ego is called up to the fore ( smile  ).

As I contemplate this issue more and more, I see how much being counts.  Being counts over talking or debating or intellectualizing.  If you are happy, people look up at you.  They might say, "Stop being so happy!" (as has been said to me, which just makes me laugh), but they may just ask, "What are you on?" (as has been said to me).  Then you get to reply, "Life."  And without preaching you can serve as a reminder that there is bright side.

One of my good friends has really climbed out of an apathetic funk in the last few months, since we began spending a lot of time together.  I didn't set an intention to help him really or heal him or inform him or anything.  I began inviting him along with me doing the things I like to do (he rarely left the house a while back).  We hike, we chat aimlessly about life, philosophy and we've also put down some thoughts about a philosophical system centered on non-judgment.  ...Anyway, one of our other, mutual friends (who can be a rather critical schmoe--the guy I showed the 9-11 documentary to) approached me the other day and asked what I had been "doing to N.?"  "He's so happy lately...It's weird."  I told him I wasn't doing anything.  But I told my friend N. about it.  He laughed.  And he thought about it.  He said the difference was was that he realized he could choose positivity and could feel however *he wanted* to feel.  His skin has even cleared up.  And he thinks it has everything to do with his change in being and attitude.  He didn't find God or have a vision quest--all that's changed is he realized was that feeling okay and positive can be a choice.

Choice is empowering.  I want to tell people about choice.  But...being is more powerful.  I want to choose to be an infinite choicemaker.
