Topic: Dream about the forum

Last night I had a dream that a new Section (as in General Discussion, Current Events, etc.) was added, and it was labeled "War".  The way that it was explained, in a topic posted under the heading, was that the program that makes the forum took out certain phrases that were encoded in the entire forum, and had come up with "War".  Kinda like how the Bible code works, I guess, is how I can best describe it.

Any ideas?

* When we start identifying wisdom with our ability to comprehend its form, what wisdom is that?
* Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
* People want platitudes, not progress.

Re: Dream about the forum

Interesting, thanks for posting this. If this were my dream, I would interpret it as a warning about some type of "programming" attempt to make "war" more frequent in this forum. Two days ago I dreamt about crawling onto a battlefield with several other soldiers and trying to sharpshoot the opposing forces who were returning a hail of bullets. So who knows...I try to keep these types of dreams in the back of my mind so that if something were to come of them, I won't be caught off guard (being the moderator and all). As best as I can tell, probable futures have their embryonic energies already manifst in the present, and these can be tuned into psychically or picked up in dreams...meaning that the future can be changed based on such information. If anyone else has had dreams in recent days possibly relating to forum activity, please post it here. Thanks.

Re: Dream about the forum

Talking about dreams, I just saw last night that I was in a secret base but I forgot who runs it. I only remember the base belongs to one of big international companies and it's really huge.
I remember thinking the things that NR's wrote in conspiracy section is right! I woke up with the idea of searching NR with keywords "secret bases".

Re: Dream about the forum

Some months ago, had a dream about a "class" of sorts that was not your typical configuration of what we see today.  It was underground, and the students were the folks on this forum.  The students and teachers were one and the same, only an overseer/moderator was present.  One of the key teachers/student was a male who is in a wheelchair.  We milled about the classroom sharing ideas/learning, groups of 4 or 5 people and rotating/taking turns visiting each group.  Not a real structured affair, but more relaxed and based on an intuitive mode.  The energy was positive and aspects of learning were geared towards what each and everyone of us needed at the time.  No arguing or ego based stuff at all, no tests smile, and a great feeling attaining much yearned for knowledge.

Re: Dream about the forum

Okay, here's one I had this morning. Was probably just an intimidation dream, but will post it anyway:

I'm in the darkly lit passenger cabin of a 747, one passenger rolls his eyes and says "Those reptilians..." and the other passengers nod and groan...another says "And those Mantids..." and the passengers grumble.

Then the plane gets turbulent and we make an emergency landing into a busy city, touching down in some back street alley. After getting out we realize that everything is written in a strange Danish-type language, and that we just landed in an alternate universe.

We spread out and walked into a parking garage when things turn sour...one by one,  people in the group got attacked and sliced up by a stealthy pack of reptilians. I ran into an apartment where an asian woman said she knew how to defeat the reptilians...one of them was outside the apartment pushing the door in, and I rammed hard against the door to keep it shut.

The asian woman handed me cups of vinegar, salt, laundry soap, and bleach - each of which I tossed out the door onto the reptilian expecting it to melt the creature, but none of which had any effect. After faking being gone by standing to the side, the reptilian kicked hard against the door and almost got in, but I managed to withstand that attempt...finally through the eyehole I saw it dialing a cellphone to call for backup, which made me yell "BLAH BLAHH BLAH" as loud as I could to interfere, but backup arrived anyway from inside the apartment.

The dream ended with me barricading the door with my left arm and fending off an approaching pack of reps with my right arm. The last message the asian woman gave me was that one of the passengers who tried to shoot these reps did not succeed because he didn't hit them in the temple (meaning, he didn't use spiritual means of defense).

Re: Dream about the forum

Wow montalk that's interesting, and this is a very strange coincidence.

I also just had a dream about attack last night. It started out with me realizing I had missed a homework assignment for a college class. I didn't even know what the assignment was, so I was looking on a web site to find out. All of a sudden I'm in a different place with a group of people from the class. They announce that we're about to be attacked! We don't know who or what is attacking us. So we all run and hide in different rooms of this place we were in and turn out all the lights. The attackers arrive and start breaking down the doors. We're fighting frantically to keep the doors up between us, but they're shooting these needles through the doors that I knew to be poisoned. This struggle goes on for quite some time.

Eventually this fades out to... a classroom! Our teacher is explaining the homework assignment I missed. The assignment was to research these attackers in order to find out how to defend ourselves from them and ward them off. Ironic and metaphorical... Do your homework so you can learn how to defend yourself against attacks. wink

I myself had a kung-fu fighting dream last night, but I don't remember the details... and I have to admit that I watched the "Chronicles of Riddick" last night, and that could've been an influence wink ..... HIIIIII-YAAAAH! big_smile

Even so, I had a funkified dream Mon. night involving another NR member, too many details to go into to it, yet suffice it to say another person was shot and killed and this NR person and I were being unjustly blamed for it. There was quite a bit of scrambling and panic, and really, really hard feelings towards us.

And yesterday morning my mate blew a gasket, like out of the blue, and usually when this unusual behavior occurs I know there's something going haywire. The poor guy's close to exhaustion also because he's been having disturbing dreams or nights of twilight sleep (the worst!) for probably five or six days now.

After reading something rather disturbing late last night, this resembling a 3D character being used by 4D sorts to wreak havoc, and given my day on the heels of my mate's ka-boom! and knowing what that likely meant, I myself fell asleep last night uttering "The Christed Consiousnes is within me, the Christed Consciousness is without me."

Most of this has not much to say about NR forum dreams, yet I wanted to add it here anyway because "da' pendulum she do swing"... it's probably a good time for us to be extra vigilant with our "homework".

Re: Dream about the forum

Seeker..............I have those same type of dreams too, about being back in school (ALWAYS algebra class) and either forgetting to go to class all year (!!!) and remembering this during like, the last flippin' month of the school year, or, realizing that I've just sorta kinda stopped doing my homework, and haven't turned in ANY homework assignments for most of the year.    It's always such an "OH MY GOD!!" feeling, like "How could I have forgotten??"  These dreams come in spurts, meaning, certain time periods I'll get a cluster of these dreams, with slight variations, but always the same overall meaning:   Forgetting to go to class, not doing my homework.  Recently I had one where I realized I'd showed up for all the tests....but didn't do the homework, and thus was probably going to fail.    Very symbolic if I do say so myself.  wink   Showed up for life's battles, aka tests, but not prepared cause I didn't do the homework.

Interestingly enough, the last most recent school dream I had several weeks ago things finally changed and were looking up...............I found myself in algebra class, but I realized that I DID do all my homework, yay!!!  (call this a semi-lucid dream in a way, being that I was actually remembering all my previous classroom dreams!  haha)   And I remembered that I had a test the next day and I planned to study for it, and I remembered that night's homework assignment with the intent to tackle that as well.    Woohoo!!  Making progress!   big_smile  haha   So I took that as a good sign.

It's funny to see somebody else having the same type of dream, and interpreting it the same way.   smile

Re: Dream about the forum

The first post in this thread was put up one year ago March 14, 2005.   It makes you wonder if anyone is dreaming of the forum's at all, right now?

Since I've been here, in the past month, I've noticed a few more "battle" dream's than normal.   It remind's me a little of Montalk's reptilian dream.

Anyone else?

Re: Dream about the forum

Aha, I forgot about this thread, otherwise would have posted more relevant forum dreams. Thanks for resurrecting it.

So I'll just do a quick rundown of some dreams these past couple days:

Apr 1: driving down a road while so tired that I could barely drive. The car behind me got annoyed and pulled in front of me, stopped, and an angry young bearded man got out, walked to my window, and got confrontational.

Apr 3: driving downtown at night when I caught a glimpse of Darth Vader  [Star Wars for me always symbolizes hyperdimensional meddling] right before coming across a messy police and ambulance scene. Drove around it and parked in a gravel lot next to two bicycles, which wobbled and fell over. Then 50 Cent came up to me, got in my face, and repeatedly yelled something about Italians followed by "what are you, stupid?"

Apr 3: Entered a coffee house and got in line, then a young hispanic man claimed I had budged in front of him. He got rude and started cursing, then commented with a smirk that it was fun to speak profanity in public.

Apr 3: Was inside a diner made from a converted train car, lots of people were there arguing about people who make derogatory remarks. I drank some spiked lemonade in a bottle and walked out towards an old train station. A punk ran up and started beating me with pop bottles, but it didn't bother me because they were empty. Inside the train station was some contraband fireworks sale. Soon a battalion of SWAT teams showed up trying to arrest everyone there. They had fake toy guns, and outside the train station was total bedlam with punks driving around trying to run over these cops.

My dreams either pertain to my personal life, family, work, or forum. By process of elimination I can usually tell which they pertain to. The above dreams, for instance, are characteristic of ones relating  to the forum. Today I deleted a goading post by 'heartless' (ex-member anubis) that confronted me on what good is love and respect for humanity when human weakness is better exploited for personal gain. I replied to him privately to not give the opportunity for starting trouble on the forum. Maybe that was it...will see what I dream tonight.

I found out, however, that by shifting my attitude towards extra positive within a couple days of the indicated event, its severity gets drastically reduced and sometimes disappears altogether.

Re: Dream about the forum

Recent dreams:

April 2
I step outside of a work/school building and I see a ship like the Star Trek Enterprise in the sky.  It's soon joined by a more UFO-ish looking craft.  My stomach does somersaults.  Then, to my surprise, they land in the parking lot and are joined by military helicopters, jeeps, and personnel.  The military men allow me and other gawking bystanders to inspect the craft.  I think: they're getting us used to this.  After a couple of minutes, the ships take off.

April 3
Medieval-dressed men man a boat down an underground river.  At one point in the river there is a holy water-like fount.  The men dip their right hand into the fount.  If they are "worthy," then a blue flame ignites on their hand and the flames overtake them and they disappear into a higher dimension.  If they are "unworthy" then the blue flame burns them and they see visions of a skeletal Death figure, but aren't killed.  Some ascend, some are burned.  Some try it multiple times.

**

Also, a few months back I had a dream about the forum.  A small group of us (maybe 10) met at a younger member's house.  She was teenaged and her house was enormous.  Her parents were gone.  We lounged around in an oak and leather drawing room.  Some were chatty and some hung quietly back, not wanting to just talk about what we talk about all the time on the forum.  I sat alone on the couch, amused by a younger girl who seemed to be mad at lyra and lyra being like: "I don't know what her deal is."

After that, the memory is fuzzy.  I left the formal drawing room to find a bathroom.  I was told it was downstairs.  Downstairs in the house were empty casino tables.  The forum member's dad apparently liked to have big gambling parties.  I found two people arguing in the bathroom.

I feel that sometimes, too.

My going theory on dreams is almost opposite to the popular theory.  The most popular theory (I guess, behind the scientific notion that dreams are "brain barf") is that dreams are messages from the subconscious.

I've been thinking lately that dreams that we find significant are experiences in which our spirit communicates clearly with us despite the noise from the subconscious.

In other words, dreaming spiritually means the same as thing as living spiritually--it is a process of separating the noise from the signal.

So there are "noise" dreams and dreams with more "signal."  And "signal-heavy" dreams can be encouraged by clearing out our waking consciousness, i.e., achieving inner silence.

Edit:
"Dull" dreams can be mined for meaning by not being too literal, too.

Re: Dream about the forum

Lately been having dreams of people/beings who intentionally attempt to instill a fear response.  Something to get me all anxious, distracted, and attempting me from gleaning the totality of the lesson.  I just look at the distractor-which BTW was a really heavy duty evil female presence a few days ago.  Fear did not at all permiate the emotional content- absolutely ZERO fear.  I just looked straight into her eyes, and it was as if this entity was a robot or not real.  There was absolutely nothing to be afraid of at all.  Makes me wonder if this was a either a grade "F or D" movie  big_smile, or more likely, recognition of the lucid dream scenerio.  Lately it seems that these sort of dreams frequetly have a definate feel that it's just a dream (or inserted dream) and not real; so I'm changing the script and confronting the seemingly "scripted" inserts to better able to get whatever information that needs to be addressed.  Sometimes it feels that there's aspects of the dreamtime that are of itmost importance to digest and think about.  Many a times it is "household" cleaning, and lotsa times it's a combination of both.  It's as if the non-linear properties of time are affecting us on many leavels-almost on a logrithmic scale!!!!
