Topic: Dreamscape and Brainstorm movies

Does anyone remember these movies-

'Dreamscape' (a Dennis Quaid film from the 1980's about dream penetration/assassination/manipulation, supposedly based on a real-life similar abandoned? project by the DOD and CIA...) and the other similar film 'The Cell'

'Brainstorm' (a Christopher Walken film from the 1980's about tech which records one's death and dreams, and possible tunnel of 'light' and afterlife... does someone know if this film is also supposedly based on a real-life project?) and the other similar film 'Altered States' based in part on the Robert Monroe related 'isolation-tanks' aka sensory deprivation tanks...?

I think they are avail on dvd now...

I plan to watch them again out of curiosity due to their subject-nature...

Altered States!  It's a cult classic with me and my brothers.  I insisted they watch while they were tripping!  They loved it.

Haven:

Yeah, I have yet to add Altered States to my dvd collection.

It really was a tripy type film...

Supposedly partially based on actual experiments (although certainly fictionalized with creative licence for market/sensational/profit/entertaining considerations)
