Topic: Leonardo DiCaprio mentions the 'reptilian-brain'

Was watching the Charlie Rose show last nite (Feb 4th) with guest, actor, GoldenGlobe award-winner, and Oscar-nominated, Leonardo DiCaprio.

Leo briefly mentioned the 'reptilian-brain' in regards to Howard Hughes' obsessive-compulsive disorder (as depicted in the Oscar-nominated film biopic of Howard Hughes' 'The Aviator').

Just a curiosity, as Leo seems to be familiar or similar in his research, with that of David Icke (and an internet article on the Icke site-an older one, featuring descriptions of the 'reptilian-brain' and its obsessive traits and territoriality and ritualistic-mannerisms/traits).

Interesting coincidence (or synchronicity?).

The reptillian brain has been mentioned by Carl Sagan in "The Dragons of Eden."   It seems to me, from what I understand, to be common knowledge and accepted fact in science that the inner core of the human brain is the oldest and most primitive, and thus known as the "reptilian" portion of the brain due to its responsiblity in governing ritualistic / obsessive compulsive behaviors, among several other traits.

So Leo was probably referring to the Carl Sagan / scientific reptilian brain thing, not the David Icke reptilian shapeshifters / draconian overlords thing.

Yeah, I remember that older book by scientist/author, Carl Sagan (anagram= Nagas, Sagan spelled backwards, refering to the ancient Indian shape-shifting creatures from the legends of the country of India- interesting wordplay huh? of which David Icke makes mention of...)

Yeah, Leo's research was probably unrelated to David Icke's (though I distinctly remember that website article on Icke's site which went into details of the 'human-reptilian-part' of the brain and its territoriality/obsessive/ritualistic behaviours).

An interesting coincidence nonetheless...

Interesting!   Sagan = Nagas, I never noticed that.   Very weird, indeed....... Carl Sagan was a character.  The more I read up on him the more I wonder about him.   He had two sides, it seemed.

I did indeed see this....very interesting commentary.   The only thing I disagreed with though was Stuart proclaiming that no matter how much Carl Sagan may have tried to change his tune at the end of his life and make up for his past mistakes that it was still "too late" for him and the demon ghouls were waiting for him.   That's crap, in my opinion.  NOBODY can know the spiritual fate of another.  Stuart wasn't there when Sagan died, nor could he know that it was "too late."   That's just so presumptuous and obnoxious.  I expected better from good ol' Stuie than to make an error like that.   That was a comment based more on Stuart's personal desires for Sagan's spritual fate and his own wishful thinking than actual truth.
