Re: A dream

Alushe, sounds to me like a training dream - similar to the Matrix jump program. The applause at the end I've had before in dreams where I had to overcome some 3D programmed limitation and succeeded, usually through some act of courage/awareness/faith.

Here's a possible interpretation: so you're going up a hill through obstacles, much like going through the hardships and lessons of life, only to meet an opressive conformity at the top just like teens entering adulthood by being assimilated into the 3D cultural/corporate control system. But by acknowledging your greater potential and remaining true to yourself, you defied this oppression and revealed its power was a joke. The applause was a congratulations for having reached this new level of empowerment.

Of course this is an archetypal dream that can be scaled up or down to fit any situation having to do with transcending something. It could be prophetic as has been suggested already... aren't we all going through the obstacles of life, heading straight toward this emerging NWO totalitarianism? Then if your dream is any indicator of how things will go, the oppression will be a catalyst for people turning within and realizing their true power, for which 3D control methods then become no match.

Re: A dream

Over on the "Moon cycles" thread, Atlantis mentioned "hyperspace mind tools" do you use these in lucid dreaming? Do you know them by another name?

I had Been working on getting a flood of gold light while meditating, with minimal success for a few days, then I experienced success one night and I cheered in my dream...

The next night after this I also had a dream where someone..nothing I can remember or recognize, said "I'm coming to get you." I assumed a martial arts defensive stance with kind of a "bring it on" attitude. Don't know if related to my success visualizing gold or not. But coincidental enough for me.

Atlantis thinks it may be a deeper sub-conscious part of me...I think so too, since I had no fear, and nothing really seemed to stand out as different and rememberable.

When you are lucid dreaming does your body recognize it as a time of real sleep?

Peace,
Teddy

Re: A dream

Montalk - I had those thoughts myself, as the dream seemed to run in a pattern which I'm starting to think applies to EVERYTHING. Like the fractal nature of reality, everything starts with innocence/ignorance (birth), struggles/undergoes a type of hardship/death (lessons, learning), and then is liberated (the phoenix rises again, Neo becomes the one, Zed understands and defeats the Tabernacle  =  Gnosis/Knowledge/Revelation).
It also reflects what I've read in the Kybalion, the pendulum swinging from one end of the spectrum through the middle to the other, the higher it swings one way the more momentum it will gain on the way back.

Re: A dream

I had two similar dreams recently which, I also consider "training dreams" or "initiations". The first one involved me battling with Arnold (a real monster!) and winning big_smile Not killing him but managing to defend myself and loved ones. In the second one there was another 9/11 (this time with 3 towers crashing in front of my eyes) and I had to do all kind of battles to escape the NWO they were quickly setting up. In both battles there was a high amount of synchronicity, in fact it felt all like an inner battle where I had to change myself to be able to win. I don't remember much of them, but I clearly felt empowered when I woke up.

Re: A dream

I didn't feel a disassociation of the body within the dreams, it felt as if it was another reality which I was in, and that I only return to the "waking world" time and again because something draws me back.

When you're drawn back...do you get a rushing feeling?

my appearance in this "dimension" had that archetypal wise-man with long grey hair+beard

I've met this old man in a dream when I was 5 or so.  I ran into him, with my family, on top off a grassy hill.  He was dressed in robes and a hood, and had a shepherd's cane.  He was standing between a rock and a tree.  Below this rise were millions and millions of sheep.  He didn't tell me any wisdom that I can remember.   My mother told me it was Jesus that I saw some time later when I told her about it, but it was really an old man with a gray beard and gray robes..  I didn't make the connection, but I guess I can say that perhaps I had heard of Jesus being a shepherd with millions of sheep.  I can say, yeah, that can be, but years and years later I found that the tree was often portrayed in paintings in the renaissance era as symbol for the Holy Spirit, or the Goddess, or whatever.  The rock I'm not sure, but it could be God or the foundation, I don't know.

Jung talks about the old gray bearded man as a sort of guide.

Who is he?

Re: A dream

Just to quickly note about the applause aspect of Alushe's dream,  I too dream lucidly very often, and have been trained for it since childhood and believe I am still being trained.  The reason for my training seemed to be to help rescue people who have died that have become stuck in their own realities (some quite nasty), anyway,  as I developed there were a number of times when I recieved applause at the end of one of these training scenarios.  It seems that everytime I reach a new higher level, or a new realisation, I find that I am surrounded by people who are cheering me and applauding.

The first experience of this was when I was about 8 years old and was encourtering a scary bathroom door that wouldn't shut!  Every night I would have this dream... just me vs the door.  I KNEW I had to shut it, but couldn't.  I slowly realised that I could shut it not by using force, but with my mind.  One night I found myself in the bathroom dream and the door started opening. I simply waited till it was open quite wide then Slammed it shut with all my new found power!!  It was such a good feeling, I was no longer scared of the door!  So I opened it and banged it a few times (for pure fun) and that was when I started hearing clapping, and cheering and I looked all around me and the whole place was packed out with people all smiling and encouraging me.  I knew I had done good!      Since then I have had quite a few instances where I have had the applause.   I think it's a useful marker to indicate that you are making progress.

As for the old beaded guy,  I think you will find that the being takes a shape that it thinks you will respect and listen to.  Whether that be a wise looking dude in robes, or Jesus, or Buddah etc etc.  As I have found whilst doing the spirit rescues, it's 90% about getting their attention.  I have often taken the shape of many people including the persons loved ones - whatever works wink .    (I think the film "what dreams may come" deals with this idea quite well)

Hi Dale!   I'm really interested to hear about these spirit rescues.  Could you tell us more about them?  How you got into this and discovered this, how it works, if you're successful, etc?   Was this a conscious choice on your part to get involved in this type of thing, or was it just sort of something that happened?   Do you do this with anybody else?  Is it difficult?   Lots of questions!  But this sounds fascinating.  Not too often that we meet somebody who does this sort of thing!

That's something I see in my dreams sometime, the use of non-force to achieve what you want.  One in particular that I remember is me trying to bend this thick iron bar with all my might.  I found out that the less I tried and just bent it, the easier it was.  It was easy to bend it in the end, and took no more than the span of a thought.

As for my dream, I don't know if that's the case.  I was too young to know the deeper, encoded references to spiritual "truths" in the dream.  I would think the guide would come as someone a little more recognizable.  My mother had her interpretation, but I never did buy that.  The only thing I can think is that it was put there for a reason later on in life, when it kept me aware of the fact that it was something I couldn't just make up on my own.  A kind of carrot, if you will, to keep me going.

Re: A dream

I don't really bend things with my mind in a dream, I just realise that all I'm seeing is a conjuration of my mind, and the desired effect is already in play.

Re: A dream

More dreams from Xmas night:

Me:

First I'm in a large factory with lots of people around, a young teenage christian I worked with a while ago who seemed fairly closed minded and arrogant is showing me how to do everything, so I'm guessing it's my first day there. The place is a seafood factory. I vividly remember being told to take first a bucket of fish guts, then a carrot, an ice cream container full of frozen fish, parsley, and then walk around to a machine which blends them together. I am told to fill two large boxes of the stuff. It seems I can't leave, that I'm being forced to do this.
Now for the part that really sticks in my mind. The front wall of the building I'm in is a large barred window. As I'm working we hear a commotion outside and a long haired male who I could describe as an asian version of myself in appearance is slammed up against the window by what looks like two black-clad civil protection/policemen. He looks like he is in serious trouble, until suddenly one of his captors is felled by a shot to the head from somewhere. That's where this part ends.

I had several other dreams after this that night, one being me walking around my old high school with a camera mounted on a hat. I can see the display of the camera on my cellphone, and at some point I drop my scarf and think I have also dropped the hat. I walk around looking for it until I look on my cellphone and see the display is still following me around, and realise the hat is still on my head.

Then I had the same dream about the fish factory, detail for detail. Same dream, except when the asian fellow is slammed up to the window this time, I know the headshot to the CP is coming, so I ... possess the asian fellow. Suddenly I am him and I can see into the fish factory, but my other self isn't in there if you catch what I mean. I'm being held against this barred window by these men, when a car drives past and delivers the fatal headshot. This time, since I'm in control, I capitalise and run away down the street to freedom.
Now, as I'm running what sounds like various TV news reports are running through my head about the person I've just possessed. He is a large "wanted terrorist" or "cell leader" in some of the reports, but in others I hear he is leading a resistance (against what?). The one that sticks in my mind like a splinter, that I'm sure has significance, says that he is related to the queen. This man is clearly asian, I got the impression he was japanese from the way he looked, but I can't quite confirm it.

Now my girlfriend also had a strange dream the same night. I'll put it in her words:

She said that it was a nightmare because I wouldn't talk to her or go anywhere with her, "I didn't love her anymore". This is strange, because our relationship is that of best friends and lovers, we're like an inseparable pair. Also she told me in her dream "there were monsters from another universe using portals to come to earth". She said only a few people in the entire world could use the portals, and she was one of them.

Re: A dream

My lord Alushe....!   Those are some pretty sophisticated dreams you have.  Despite their negative themes you still have to think it's kind of cool.  I've never heard of someone having dreams like that.  Your dreams are very detailed, very complex, with a complex plot and follow through.  Not just random mish mosh of images like most people have.   Pretty clever and smart.   I used to have those random mish mosh dreams mostly.   What I noticed was as I began awakening to things and questioning reality and "opening my eyes" and seeking out answers, expanding my knowledge base and growing spiritually in leaps and bounds, my dreams also changed and reflected this expansion.   They became really detailed, interesting, with clever plots and things.

Re: A dream

Hi!

I had a strange Lucid Xmas dream too. (hey Alushe, our stronger dreams seem to be happening on the same nights... are you from the UK?  It was a full moon the last couple of nights)

Anyway in my dream last night it started as a standard dream, I was in a war that felt like the second world war.  I knew the enemy was approaching anytime and was very scared.  The enemy turned up and I started shooting at them.  I felt guilty for killing my fellow man and hated the situation I was in.  I then became lucid,  stood up in the midst of bullets and said "ok! I know I am dreaming, i do not want to do this any more!!" (refering to the war dream).  The whole noisy episode kind of instantly grinded to a holt, like if somebody had pressed "stop" on a video tape.    I was then surrounded by the now familiar people again (no clapping this time) and I spent the remainder of the lucid experience asking them to tell me jokes so that I could verify that they were not figaments of my imagination!  (ie, if I hadn't heard the joke before then knew it wasn't my own mind creating things).

I don't really bend things with my mind in a dream, I just realise that all I'm seeing is a conjuration of my mind, and the desired effect is already in play.

When we are in "our" dreams, then we have total control,  we are the "god" of the dream, the dreamer, the creator.    What is very interesting is when I do those spirit rescues it seems as if I am entering other peoples dreams - THEY are the creators and I have limited powers.  The stronger their beliefs, the more harder it is for me to excercise my powers within them.  The "darkest" densest planes are those worlds where the fear energy has totally entrapped the dreamer of it.  He doesn't realise he is in control, that he is the God,  he has totally given his power away to fear.   So in order to 'recue' him I have to somehow get him to beat his own fears, to help him remember just how much control he has... to get him to wake up; become Lucid; become TRULY self aware.

(i don't think this reality is much different lol!)
