People here at this forum I imagine have a great many talents, including these. I think that there may be a general talent that may be related to these that is called intuition.

Well, my intuition says this a trap.
My experience says BEWARE OF THOSE WHO WOULD CALL YOU SPESHUL! (or extraordinary gentlemen)
Why would anyone need to apply to join this elite group? Why don't you join us?
This whole thing is stupid, which is why hardly anybody's even bothering to respond to it. Lack of capital letters and missing punctuation, combined with an immature writing voice that make the author sound like he's about 18 years old, at most. Lots of us here at NR have "the skillz." But who in their right mind would respond to something like this? !
freeme mentioned that this seems like a trap - I don't get a sense of trap, rather, it feels like a couple of kids who watched a movie and got carried away and are now playing a form of "let's pretend." The kind of people who would set a trap looking for psychic people would do so in a more intelligent, mature sounding way, and there would be a feeling of dark deception underlying the words, which there clearly isn't here. Instead this has a feeling of totally unorganized, child-like silliness. But that's just my take on things....
Word of advice... If you are really serious about establishing something like an "Xavier Institute for Higher Learning" then the first requirement is to be respectable and credible, like capitalize your sentences and check your spelling when making the pitch. Unless that's intentional.
Second, choose between covert recruitment and general recruitment. If general, then maximize by having a website with info and application forms. If covert, instead of asking openly for people to apply, keep quiet and watch carefully those who are prospective candidates and then contact them privately so that your group becomes "by invitation" only.
If you just want to network with people who have abilities, then no need for pretense... just state your intentions honestly and start emailing/IMing/meeting people you resonate with. Friendships don't require formalities, and make for a tighter and more flexible group.
Of course, also keep in mind that people with abilities tend to be psychic and can tell when you're putting up a front.
Ok i know my english grammer isnt all that good. have a college degree. But that never means you know how to spell or use of wording. so forgive my 30 something years. I would pay myself to be 18 again. yes the i was trying to hide some in my posting. and i agree i should be more selective. i was hoping for some to choose from. needed a instant response at this moment. But in the future we will be by invitation only. thank you for all the views and advise. we are not stuck up or to good to notice our flaws. please note this isnt a trap, but a true calling. honesty, belief, faith, truth and justice are the basic blocks. just wish everyone could see that. for those who truely belive will know in your heart what is right and what is wrong. again thank you all who have responed.

Yes it was intentional. But you bring up a great point with the comment on

this is very true point. We are hoping to grow and learn with each other. That is my point and others with me as well.

a network is another way to describe what is needed. Yes indeed since it is a worldwide call. We cant all be in the same spot if we live miles apart. We do not intend on asking those who join to move to anywhere. So a network is more of a word to describe what is needed. A wise word indeed. Thank you for the advise.
