I myself am wary of channeled information, perhaps even to the point where it clouds my ability to critically analyze the material itself. But, that's just my issue.
I know this statement was directed at Montalk, but it reminded me of something I forgot to mention in my previous post: (and this is directed for anybody in general, not Thoth)
For those who are immediately skeptical of channelled material "because it's channelled material", (hinting that it automatically makes it questionable, flaky, unreliable, etc. etc.) then chew on this: You believe and take on face value MANY other things in your reality because you've been conditioned to. Information in your school textbooks, the scientific explanation for how reality is set up, the description for what outer space is and how that's set up, and a million other things that are all around you. We're given explanations every day for everything we see and experience.......and we generally accept those explanations, even parroting them to others. I do it. Everybody here at NR does it to an extent, whenever we "explain" something in a thread or to other posters. But why are those ideas / explanations any more reliable and solid than ones offered by channelling?? What, because they were offered up by parents, textbooks, school, friends, the MCS, world leaders and politicians, etc.? Think about that. Why is channelled material ANY less questionable than the crap we're fed by the MCS since birth??
In the end, use critical analysis, personal experience and observation, and intuition to discern what's what.....and that goes for both channelled material AND mainstream explanations for ordinary things given to us by MCS. But don't just automatically dismiss something "because it's channelled", having a preconceived idea, with the mind already made up.
