Also, lyra, if i may. I would advice you

"Advise me"...or else what??   big_smile   !  "Aggressive" and "hostile"?   Hmm.  Well, it's blunt, and to the point, but hostile?   Hostile, Hkelukka, would be if I cussed you out, called you a moron, and then insulted your mother on top of it.  wink  But questioning your blond hair = spiritual advancement theory is not hostile.  It's just bluntly questioning where / how that correlation came about.

It would also help matters if you could have mentioned this right from the getgo:

"From what i have read bright haircolors, bright blond being one of them but also if you are born with brown hair it is also bright brown-ness smile" .........."It could also mean that if my genetic structure is of the nordic type, which seems very likely. That for my hair to turn golden could signify that i am getting closer to my own potential (DNA). "

That better explains your position on the matter, and how you view this topic.  Instead, that was left out.  Maybe next time you could add more details to better explain your theory/position, so people can better understand where you're coming from.  It alleviates confusion...

(hmm...is this a mercury retrograde thing??)

Re: Hair color started changing

BTW, I've had time to do the research, so, addressing this point from Hkelukka:

Hkelukka wrote:

.... because for a few times now you have posted a response to something i said in a way that is unnecceserily "hostile."

As any member can do, I clicked on your name and then seleted "Show All Posts."

This brought up 31 threads that you've participated in, or started, here at Noble Realms.

Of those 31 threads, I've only addressed you, Hkelukka directly in two.

Here, where I was CLEARLY agreeing with you, in a very enthusiastic way:  http://forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?id=2538

And here: http://forum.noblerealms.org/viewtopic.php?id=2543  where I was offering up feedback...but definitely NOT in a "hostile" or "aggressive" way.  Not even close.

So, for you to make a claim like that is, well, you know....lying.

In fact, in the second thread, "Incident at a bar", you wrote:

Hkekkeluka wrote:

...........I noticed that by my standards the bar was slightly more agressive than usually

The fact that you would claim that I've been "aggressive" to you in several posts in the past...when I haven't, as I just proved.......calls into question the entire way you perceive things in general.  Were the people in this bar really aggressive, as you claim?  Or is that just your skewed perception?  It seems to me that your perception and intuition with people is waaaaay off.    I think I'll take pretty much anything you say from here on out with a grain of salt!   Seriously.

Anyway, now, back to our regularly scheduled Mercury Retrograde.

Re: Hair color started changing

It is all relative, and i can only speak from my point of view as can you. So what is hostile to one is not to another, beauty and the beast is on the eye of the beholder.

Blunt and to the point if done with finess is fine. But can easily turn to the fundementalistical point of view that one is the only person who can be right. What is percieved as the point might not be the whole point, and even a baseball bat is a blunt object yet can do harm.

I mentioned that my hair is blond/brown/orange in the very first post, which means that i am partially nordic, which also means that it could mean i am coming more to terms with who i am. If one would explain every single concept down to the basic level, even to the level of what different words mean it would take tremendous amounts of time, so i choose a level at which i communicate that best fits with the people i desire to communicate. One can never communicate in a way that everyone understands, there will always be discord. That is also what i try to point out, that to call my different opinion on how your behavior effects people lying is the style of communication i mean. Certainly your power of thought and problemsolving skills are good i'll admit that. But if you fail to understand what i meant and take it as lying, is it any different than if i fail to understand what you mean and take it as confrontative. That is what i desire to point out. That simply because it feels to you that you are not agressive or hostile, it might not feel that way to everyone you come in contact with.

You only prove that which you set out to prove, that you are not "unneccesarily agressive" the way you percieve it. Which is very much true. That is why i cant say you absoutely must do something or something else, i only say, that with all due respect i would suggest that you do something if you wish to avoid unneccesary confrontation.

If you have ever gone to a bar in finland you would know what i mean by aggressive. A girl hit another girl, then threw her drink on the waiter and then got tackled to the floor and the bouncer then grabbed her neck in a hold and carried her and threw her out the door after which the girl walked a few meters away and start threwing bottles at the bar. Not to mention several barfights in the same day that i didnt see, in a bar with around 50 people (small) even my friends said it was an unusually agressive night.

So i would once again heartly recommend that you try to avoid making rash decicions of my personality or psyche based on a few picks. As i dont even imagine that i know who you are or why you decide to post as you. But what i said isnt mean to be, (as there is no such thing), an absolute truth on how to act, it is only meant as my observation on if you would desire, you could change your behavior so that it wouldnt cause agitation to me. Nothing more as such.

Also as you said " I think I'll take pretty much anything you say from here on out with a grain of salt!   Seriously. " It, to me, seems that you attack the messanger not the message.

So in closing i would suggest that if this confrontation is unsolvable as it appears, we should just for the sake of minimizing possible energy waste and conflict just agree that neither of us responds in anyway to anything posted by the other person? Unless ofcourse absolutely critical for the conversation? So we can just agree to disagree?

Re: Hair color started changing

Lyra & Hkulakka,

I love both of you as human beings and also because we are fighting the same cause.  So now I am asking you to hush (Please let it go!) for we have better and more important things to consider.

Regards,

Lee

Re: Hair color started changing

It probably doesn't mean anything.   Lots of people's hair color changes when they get older. Mine changed from strawberry blonde to auburn, and my sister's turned from white-blonde to almost black.

Re: Hair color started changing

OK, this is very strange. I've been following this thread but didn't have anything to contribute, until now.

Just today I was looking in the mirror when I noticed a small bright spot in my hair. I frowned as I leaned in closer to get a look at what I thought would be a bit of gray/white hair. I'm only 24 so I don't really expect any gray hair this early. However I was totally shocked when I saw that the hair was actually golden yellow. It was just, weird seeing this. My hair is very dark brown, naturally, and there is no blonde hair in my family at all. What to make of it? I don't know, maybe just some freak occurence that will go away in a couple weeks. Just thought I'd throw it out there, anyway.

Re: Hair color started changing

For me, there is a tendency for yellow hair, but nothing on this scale has been on our family for a very long time. Keep an eye on it and drop a line if you spot anything more. smile
