Could you please explain your understanding of what this source said.

I definately do agree though with the Gandhi quote " Be the change you want to see in the world"

Re: Opinions on 2012

This is an analogy I use, often in individual conversations- or initimate conversations with small groups of friends.

I see the movement from 3D to 4D reality as shifting from a particle perspective to a wave perspective of "reality".

In 3D- one can maintain a reality based on one moment in time plotted next to the next moment in time- the past no longer within reach and the future a possibility/probability yet within reach.  This affects our perception of time. This becomes a "linear" reality in that it moves "forward" into the future from some past point.

In 4D- one can maintain a reality based on fabric and flow.  Reality becomes a wave movement rather than the particle plotting.  Time is equally fluid in 4D as the past, present and future are no longer relevant.  Reality becomes the knowledge, skill, tools and resources needed to fulfill the moment at that moment.

I come from a belief that all possibilities are present in every moment, and it is the perception of reality that is narrow in 3D-

Given that, every individual in 4D will have the responsibility of understanding themselves well enough not to do damage.  One would necessarily have to begin in a place of loving kindness, of self sufficiency, and of understanding of the difference between a want and a need.

All of the growth- individual, spiritual, community, etc. all become valuable.  I appreciate Montalk's consistent message of take what resonates and leave the rest aside- I would add- chances are- someone else will need it.

If it is only one line from a book, three notes from a song, another's lesson shared, or an experience designed specifically for you- all are of equal value-  We have no destination- there is no end point- the value is growing in the journey, imho.

Is there an urgency which many feel? I would say absolutely.
Is there a sense that fundamental change is on its way?  I would say absolutely.

I have chosen to prepare physically, environmentally, emotionally and spiritually by asking myself-  If I became the only human being within a thousand mile radius- would I, not only survive, but be happy?

I ask that of myself because I know I can only give away and share from a sense whole being.  If I am not whole in 4D- the potential for doing another damage becomes a surety.

Are these ideas in accordance with typical New Age thought?

I personally don't think so. The 3rd - 4th density terminology is not common in typical New Age literature (you will find the words realms, dimensions instead) and originated with the Ra material channeling. Channeling could ofcourse be regarded as a subset of the New Age.
Although New Age heralds a new age, ideas about that are legion. There are currents who are more focussed on what they perceive as events in the future or the importance of certain events in these times. Descriptions and ideas about these events differ. Other currents focus more on being conscious of the here and now.

Concerning the manipulation of negative 4th density beings, that idea originated with typical american UFO literature and US conspiracy culture and is now a subculture on the net. I wouldn't place that within the same context of the love, light and peace loving New Agers although there are people who are part of both worlds and create crossover material.

Marilyn Ferguson's The Aquarian Conspiracy is a great intro into what New Age entails. Alternatively there is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_age

I've no idea what jen's source is but I bet this source regards "present" in the sense something like Tolle means it in 'The Power of Now':

To the ego, the present moment hardly exists. Only past and future are considered important. This total reversal of the truth accounts for the fact that in the ego mode the mind is so dysfunctional.  It is always concerned with keeping the past alive, because without it - who are you?  It constantly projects itself into the future to ensure its continued survival and to seek some kind of release or fulfillment there.  It says: "One day, when this, that, or the other happens, I am going to be okay, happy, at peace." Even when the ego seems to be concerned with the present, it is not the present that it sees: It misperceives it completely because it looks at it through the eyes of the past.  Or it reduces the present to a means to an end, an end that always lies in the mind-projected future.  Observe your mind and you'll see that this is how it works.
The present moment holds the key to liberation.  But you cannot find the present moment as long as you are your mind.

One can interpret "present" as the product of the past, but one can also interpret the "present" as the eternal now which is obscured by the supposed illusion of conceptions like past, present and future.

I know the the soul will move to the next stage but what about everything else?

SoulfulWanderer and bumblebee, you both have a good take on the quote about the present not being the result of the past.   Yes, that's the idea.

The present is not the result of the past--unless you believe it to be--and with that 3D belief, you will remain in 3D.

Positivone, 4D is still a physical realm, as I understand it.  5D is nonphysical.  So we will still have bodies in 4D, but they will be vibrating higher and thus they will be lighter, and our minds and emotions will be in sync with that.

Re: Opinions on 2012

I like the Harry Potter train analogy in this  one...

Will the World Really End on December 21, 2012?

I was recently asked how I interpreted the Mayan and Hopi predictions
that
the world, as we know it, will end on the 21st of December, 2012.
Would
there be global war ? possibly triggering a nuclear holocaust? Would
the
planet's life forms finally succumb to the ecological quagmire that's
been
building in our soils, oceans and atmosphere? Would the current steady
increase of previously unknown diseases overcome our ability to defend
against them? Or will we suddenly move into a new Golden Age in which
the
lion lies down with the lamb and struggle, pain, and suffering are
gone
forever?

This is no small question. Quite the contrary, it deals with some of
the
larger concepts in the universe. From a metaphysical perspective, the
world
ends and recreates itself every instant. December 21, 2012 is
certainly no
exception. However, it does offer a target date that brings all the
possible scenarios into vivid focus.

What we perceive from our vantage point of being in human form is
only a
teeny sliver of the infinite swirl of interpenetrating realities that
make
up the universe. To us, there is a past, present, and future. Time
appears
to move predictably from moment to moment forming the days and years
of our
lives. 2012 is a real date on our calendars and each of the possible
scenarios can be seen to be advancing steadily toward it like race
horses
to the finish line.

If you were to ask the "2012 End-of-the-World" question of a gifted
psychic, she (or he) would gaze into several of the parallel universes
making up our possible futures and report back on the one that seemed
to be
the most vivid. This is like a handicapper picking the favorite in a
particular race. Just as in horse racing, the favorite often wins, or
comes
close. But not always. On any given day, one of the longshots might
cross
the line first while the favorite trails the field.

From a cosmic perspective, picking the winning scenario is easy.
Understanding the nature of how this can be done is considerably more
elusive. Infinity is impossible to grasp in finite terms. When we
pose a
finite question in an infinite realm, it's like trying to cram a herd
of
stampeding elephants into a match box. It won't be the lack of effort
that
defeats us, but the minuscule size of the container we are trying to
use.
Our minds are the matchbox. We are going to have to think way out of
the
box to begin to grasp the answer to how the world will end on
December 21,
2012.

The simple answer is that every one of the possible scenarios you can
envisage will find expression in one or more of the myriad parallel
universes that manifests in every instant. And that includes the date
spoken about by so many as the moment our world comes to an end. What
adds
weight to this date is the fact that with each passing hour more
people are
becoming aware of it and adding their energies to the consensus. We
have
already seen the power of agreement at work in events such as World
Healing
Day, The Harmonic Convergence and other moments of focus. It was not
the
calendar date that created the power, it was the cohesive intent of
those
who took part.

Having said that, it is no mere coincidence that so many disparate
cultures
all around the world who have had no known contact with one another
should
focus on the same date. There is increasing evidence that the time
leading
up to 12/21/12 does mark the presence of an energy portal that has
never
before been accessible to the human race. Each of us is being offered
an
opportunity to shift that may not again arise in thousands of years to
come.

Whether or not December 21, 2012 marks an immutable cosmological
event or
not becomes a self-fulling prophesy is moot. There is no question
that it
looms as a very significant moment. What concerns us most is wanting
to
know what will happen. At one end of the bell-curve of probabilities
is
total physical annihilation. At the opposite end is the arrival of the
Golden Age we all dream about. Every other conceivable possibility
lies
between them. Somewhere near the center of the curve most people will
find
their most probable possibility in which the monumental moment will
pass
quietly like Y2K and their lives will appear to continue as if nothing
happened at all. December 21, 2012 will dawn as clocks continue to
tick and
the human race continues to move one day closer to whatever future
harvest
it has sown. That doesn't mean that many other people, who live their
lives
at the extremities of the curve, won't experience radically different
events.

Imagine, if you will, that you are in the center of a vast central
train
station. The tracks are arranged like the spokes of a giant wheel,
each
moving away from the center in a different direction. The trains are
all
scheduled to depart at the same moment on December 21, 2012. Every
human
being on Earth is at the station, free to board any of the trains he
or she
chooses. Each train is destined for a different parallel universe in
which
one of the innumerable possibilities is played out.

You (like everyone else) are at the station free to board any one of
an
almost infinite number of trains. But, like the psychic, you can only
see
one or two of them. Your choices appear meager--almost as if you had
no
choice at all and your future was determined totally by fate. Such is
not
the case at all--unless, of course, you want it to be.

If you remember the station scene in the Harry Potter books (or
movies) in
which the wizard children were able to board the Hogwarts Express on
platform 9 3/4 by walking straight through a concrete pillar, then
you will
begin to see how all this works. What is delightfully easy for
wizards is
equally impossible for muggles (non-wizards).

The Hogwarts Express is bound for the next dimension --the Golden Age
of
our dreams. The problem is that until you become a wizard, you have
no way
of finding the right platform. The world, as you know it will
definitely
end on December 21, 2012, if that's what you choose. You will
definitely be
there when it happens, boarding one of the infinite number of trains
leaving the station. Every one of us will be required to be on
board.

Now that you know where you will be on the day the world ends, you
get to
decide which train you'd like to ride. There is still time (according
to
the calendars of this illusion) before the trains must leave the
station.
Plenty of time for you to leave your muggle world behind and become
the
wizard you already are. The choice, as always, is yours.

Perhaps the idea is to drag down as many beings as possible in order to increase the size of the "bad guys'" kingdom.

Because the 'trap' is not set in 3D, it is in 4D.

4D has a negative polarity, as does 5D.  The paths do not unify until 6D.

3D carries the line of the 'totalitarian state' drama.  Many are living this out right now, but most of us have already gone beyond that.

We are already in 4D.  We entered 4D in 1998.

4D carries the line of the 'utopian state' drama.  Imagine parades and festivals in 2012 cheering us humans for finally making it to 4D!  Great job!  Here have a cookie!

We are already here.  Yet we are not meant to stay here.  4D is not the goal.  The goal is home, and this exists in 9D.  In the center of the galaxy.

The goal of the 'dark side' if you want to call it that is to get as many people as possible so identified with 4D that they don't realize what lies beyond it.

Yay!  Look at me manifest!  These are simple parlor tricks.  There are much bigger games out there to play.

Yet manifesting is the way out.  We must manifest the exit.  And the trick to manifesting is to realize that what it is you desire is already here.

Personally, I doubt that anybody is going to wake up one day and "that's it we're there." I like the way montalk put it:

montalk wrote:

I agree that the process (whatever it may be) is likely to be gradual. I don't see 2012 as a mass "rapture" occurance - bam! we're levitating in our light bodies. It's more likely that different groups of people will access different levels of dimensional experience depending on their energetics and preparation.

Have to say that while I'm endlessly fascinated by the subject of 2012 and enjoy my own conjecture tongue I also know that focusing too much on the future is a trap. Google, that's one of the reasons that I don't spend much time thinking about the Illuminati or NWO, what their plans may be, who they really are, etc. etc.  For all I know, these forces are implanting ideas on both sides of the fence, creating a complex mess that will never be extricated.  I simply don't care. Whatever "they" decide to do, i've decided that it will have no effect on me. I align with the forces of truth and light... trust... and don't worry about the rest.

Re: Opinions on 2012

I like what montalk had to say about it all, so don't really have that much more to contribute other than that I believe the date of 2012 in itself is false.

Everybody's relying on the supposed "Mayan Calendar" for where they're getting their dates and information.

Well, what if people have interpretted that calendar incorrectly?

We all know how much disinformation is inserted into the works regarding New Age concepts.  And 2012 / ascension is the ULTIMATE New Age concept, taking the Christian belief of the Rapture and weaving it with New Age terminology.  All this stuff about "galactic allignments!" and "ascending to a New Earth!"   So how do we know for certain that the 2012 date has any sort of validity???   Where is our proof?    Can anybody out there claim that they have  A) Seen the Mayan calendar with their own two eyes, and B) Interpetted it themselves with the same results???   Or do we all have to sheepishly admit that we're just taking others' word for it?

I personally believe there's a huge chance it's a false / incorrect date designed to lead people astray.

There are two facets of "the shift".   One is what I feel is the corrupted version of it all, the one propogated by the New Age movement, about galactic allignments, the special segment of society who is chosen to move on to this New Earth utopia, waking up one morning on December 12, 2012 in a new world, fully equipped with super powers, surrounded by light beings and rainbows and unicorns and all that good stuff.     This version is fun and exciting, is something to look forward to and count down to like the adult version of Christmas or something.   I've read of people who are literally putting their lives on hold in anticipation of 12/12/12.   Feeling, what is the point in doing anything right now when I will just wake up in a new world on the morning of 12/12/12 !!!!   Doesn't this just seem like bad news when we see this?   A possible ploy to derail people off track in life??

Then there's the version of it that Montalk outlined, which I liked, specificially for this reason:

montalk wrote:

I know from personal experience that fourth density exists and is populated by beings not limited by the constraints of linear time or three dimensional space. How did they get there?....If they can do it, so can we.

My own personal - although admittedly subjective - personal experience has shown me that there are higher realms as well, populated by enttities that are not human, not physical.   I can't say it's "4th density!"  I don't have proof for where / what those realms are.   But it did at least prove to me that there is more than just this reality we see around us.   For that reason, I can buy into what montalk's saying, and his version of the shift.   It's more realistic.

I don't believe that 12/12/12 is a valid date, even though numerically it looks really neat and swell.  wink   But I do believe that shifting, changing and awakening is happening though, and is real.  The reason being is because this is all stuff that I've experienced myself.   For me, like others, the past 5 years or so has been a period of rapid growth and change, and tons of "woo woo!" stuff galore, paranormal activity, reality bleedthroughs, entities coming and going, abductions, etc.   Maybe this is a normal part of life, but I don't think so.  I think something is "amiss", to put it mildly.  Something is happening here.

Admittedly though I'm not holding my breath regarding any actual changovers and ascension dates, and I don't think it's going to go the way many new agers think it's going to go.   At best, it'll be a gradual bumpy ride probaby, not something that happens POOF!  overnight, all magical and instantaneous.

I think people might do best to just work on themselves, try to make the reality around them a better place, but don't be invested in dates and times.   And do question what we're being told via the New Age channels.  Do the research into the Mayan calendar if it's important enough to you.   At least this way you can claim that you've done the research into whether the calendar is valid...and being interpretted and translated correctly......and you aren't just blindly believing something because it seems fun and exciting, and promises an easy way out.

Re: Opinions on 2012

Mmmm I have no idea about 2012 and I don't spend much time, thought or energy on it, franky. I have had a strong sense that something major shifts in 2007, personally. Whether that is just for me or pertains to something larger, I can't say. Again, though, I don't put much energy into it.

I'm here now, and I focus on what's presented to me in the here and now, and the rest will take care of itself. And there's sooo much in the here and now if you delve into it at all. Why look for, or forward to, a moment that doesn't actually exist for you yet, when you're clearly in the present for a reason? Focus there and extract all you can from it, I say!

And as many others have said, I do sense we're in a major movement of consciousness, and this is an unprecedented time for humanity. What that really means and how that really plays out, I don't know. I have discovered that just about everything I imagined about this path a priori, didn't turn out as I thought it would. So... there's my experience that tells me it's not worth the time to speculate on. Especially if I end up getting attached to my future projections in any way.

For my part, it's not about getting hung up on a date, or living for that future moment, but about brnging the energy of what that date represents into the now moment.  Living in the now is in itself one of the crucial aspects of that--as you can see from my posts about this.

As a numerologist, I find it very interesting that the date 12/21/2012 is an Eleven day.  Aquarius is the 11th sign of the zodiac, so if that date ushers in the Age of Aquarius in full force, this is very apropos.  The 11 is a high-voltage master number, and on the positive side (all numbers contain the potential for both positive and negative expression) it expresses revelation, intuition, idealism, inspiration.  A person with the 11 prominent in their numbers has these potentials, as well as that of being a peacemaker.  Thus, the potential for
that date to usher in an age of peace on earth.

I don't think such speculation is a waste of time if it inspires us to
actualize more of these potentials in our here and now experience, and that's where I'm at.  Writings and talks such as those of Terence McKenna
on his Time Wave Zero concept can get me fired up even more--it's fun to tap into that kind of excitement and optimism about what our lives and our world can be:

This is not a dress rehearsal for the apocalypse. This is not a pseudo-millenium. This is the real thing folks. This is not a test. This is the last chance before things become so dissipated that there is no chance for cohesiveness. We can use the calender as a club. We can make the millenium an occasion for establishing an authentic human civilization, overcoming the dominator paradigm, dissolving boundaries through psychedelics, recreating a sexuality not based on monotheism, monogamy and monotony.  All these things are possible if we can understand the overarching metaphor which holds it together which is the celebration of mind as play, the celebration of love as a genuine social value in the community.

In response to your first question, in my opinion, yes and no.  No because you are already identified with 4D.  And yes because you do not need to pass through 4D to experience 9D.

Each higher dimension is like a container for the lower ones, and each lower one provides the framework for the container.  Here is a simple exercise.

http://members.cox.net/tenetnosce/cube.jpg

Focus your attention on the center of the cube.  There are two interpretations of it.  From one perspective you are inside the cube at the bottom corner.  From the other perspective you are outside the cube at the top corner.

Nothing has changed, except for your perspective.  This is how we move from 3D to 4D.

We do this all the time.

Consider a shopping mall.  You are walking around in a building with a bunch of stores that sell stuff.  The building, the people, and the stuff is in 3D.

But when you enter into a particular store, you have moved into a specific 4D overlay.  The music playing in the background, the color arrangement, the physical appearance of the people working in the store.  These are all engineered to cause you identify with some 4D archetype that will cause you to buy the stuff in the store.  Are you really buying the stuff, or are you buying into the image that the stuff creates within you?

I don't care if you got your jeans at Express, or at Kohl's, or at Costco.  The jeans represent some image that you identify with.  I am trendy.  I am sensible.  I am thrifty.

This also answers your second question.  How do we work on manifesting the exit?  By realizing that it is here all the time.

You can be home meditating, or driving down the freeway, or sitting at work, or walking around a shopping mall with your mom.  It doesn't matter.  You are popping back and forth from 3D to 4D all the time.  See if you can be aware of the specific moment when you switch.

It is just as simple to focus your awareness on 6D or 9D, or whatever.  Go back to the above picture.  Can you focus on it in a manner which reveals its tetrahedral (triangle-based) geometry, rather than its cubical (square-based) geometry?

How about if you just place your focus on the point at the center?  Now you are focusing on 1D.

1D is a very important place, and part of the basic manipulation tactic is to get you to ignore it, or to fear it.  No!  Don't go there!  You must raise your vibration and join the 4D party!  It's so much more exciting over here!

1D is a wonderful place.  It is the iron crystal at the center of the planet.  It is your home.  It is a place of quiet, a place of rest, a place where you are safe.  You can go there whenever you like.

Go there right now, and see how you feel when you come back.

9D is a wonderful place as well.  It is the black hole at the center of the galaxy.  It is also your home.  It is the source of all movement in the galaxy.  This is where you feel complete, fulfilled, exhilarated.  Where everything is drawn back to yourself.  You can go there whenever you like as well.

Go there right now, and see how you feel when you come back.

You can take a little journey starting down in 1D and moving up through all the dimensions to 9D.  You can hang out in 9D for a while, and then move back down through the dimensions into your body.

But I think there is also another way back.  I think you can go through the black hole, and emerge back at 1D.

I think the dimensions are less like a tube that you travel up and down in, and more like a torus.  A doughnut.  The serpent swallowing its own tail.

I think the 'other world' that we want to experience is on the flip side of the galaxy.  Through the black hole, to a place where you already exist.

Another you.

So it's not a matter of getting there.  We are not going to build a massive spaceship and hurtle ourselves physically to the center of the galaxy.

The way out is in.

Within your blood there are red cells and white cells.  Red cells don't have very much identity, they exist to carry oxygen around, which is used to fuel the fire.  You can take red cells from one body, and put them in another body, and they will continue to work just fine.

White cells, on the other hand, have a very high identity.  They function to determine the difference between self and non-self.  If you took a bunch of white cells from one body, and put them in another body, they would wreak havoc upon it.

Red cells do not have a DNA nucleus.  They are however, jam-packed with hemoglobin, which just happens to be an iron crystal.

White cells have lost of DNA, the geometric properties of which apparently can create little tiny black holes.

So our blood, our life, provides a range of frequency that begins/ends with 1D/9D.

And the rest of us lives somewhere in between.

It is not for us to understand love, but simply to make space for it.

Re: Opinions on 2012

And from yet another perspective, we exist in all dimensions simultaneously (we are multidimensional) and can bring the energy of each dimension into our here and now experience.
