Has anyone seen or heard of (drum roll ...) The Secret ?
I haven't heard of it, but I checked out the link. Looks intresting. Have you seen it? Worth the dl time? 
Okay, I have now seen (drum roll)... The Secret. Paid 5 bucks to stream it via broadband... made for an interesting evening.
What is the Secret? It wouldn't be a secret if I told you, but what I can say is that what will surprise you, members of NR, would not be so much the concepts in this documentary, but the way in which it's presented and the fact that it is being presented "to the world" at all.
In my humble opinion, if all the souled people on earth watched this and started applying it, within a month we'd all be dancing around fully in fourth density. This documentary is an audio-visual summary of some of the most practical and important metaphysical concepts we have discussed here, a sort of elementary primer on "fourth density thinking".
Take out everything you didn't like about What the Bleep except Fred Alan Wolf and do a ninety minute focus on the most essential and to-the-point stuff about transcendence. Then you will have "The Secret." Or read the Kybalion and use your imagination.
So yeah, if you do watch, watch it for the uplifting and novel presentation, for the reminder of applying what you probably already have discovered for yourself but not regularly put into practice, and for contemplating the implications that a video on this subject might have with its ease of availability.
Don't know if this movie has already been discussed, but Blueberry is a most fascinating little gem on shamanism and spiritual journeys. It has awesome visual effects as well, and really caught the spirit of visionary and exstatic experiences. Kinda reminded me a bit of Donnie Darko, but they're really not too similar. I went ahead and paid the five bucks to view The Secret as well. I wish more movies were available online like this! I had an excellent, high-resolution viewing experience, free of any technical glitches whatsoever. This using my normal 3 Mb/s cable connection.
The movie itself was very well done, and I ended up ordering a DVD copy (with the $5 I paid for the initial viewing nicely subtracted from the price). I mainly wanted this so I can show it to some friends and family who are convinced that I have gone completely insane over the last couple of years.
The movie is well-worth the rental price and I'd recommend it to everyone here. If you can't spare the five dollars and 90 minutes, then check out this video, which contains the same basic message, but takes only five minutes to watch and doesn't cost anything.
Oh, incidentally ... on the eve of March 24th, which was the night before I came across "The Secret" and mentioned it above, I had asked mentally in my bedtime prayer for an answer to whether prayer itself ought to be done just mentally, or verbally out loud. The very next day I found the link for this movie, which contains the specific, exact answer to that very question. (The answer being that just thinking it is sufficient.)
So to recap: I said my prayer one night, and the specific answer showed up the very next day. This is the SECOND time that has happened for me. Folks, it works. When you ask for divine guidance with a pure heart and good intentions, you get what you ask for ... sometimes very quickly.
Conversely, calling upon the divine for petty, selfish reasons does not necessarily work in the same manner. For example, one day just a few weeks ago, I started talking to the Spirit while driving, in a kind of absent-minded way (which was quite disrespectful, of course ... though I wasn't thinking of it at the time) and commented that it would be nice not to suffer too much financially. Immediately, the song on the radio ended and the next one that came on was Janis Joplin, in her crackly and pathetic-sounding voice:
Oh lord, won’t you buy me a mercedes benz ?
My friends all drive porsches, I must make amends.
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends,
So lord, won’t you buy me a mercedes benz ?Oh lord, won’t you buy me a color tv ?
Dialing for dollars is trying to find me.

Obviously, a certain Higher Power wasn't too impressed with me at that moment ... but sure had a sense of humor about the way it let me know so!
The lesson I presently see in this is that "The Secret" of focus and intention is one thing, and a powerful one at that -- but prayer invoking Deity is something entirely different ... and one confuses the two at their own peril. It's the difference between acting a co-creator with God versus calling directly upon that Infinite being for "unilateral" action. The former should be the routine method of doing things, and the latter reserved for very specific times and situations, to be conducted in an appropriately solemn and respectful manner.

I ordered and streamed it. One small hiccup on the high-quality stream, but it was nothing compared to my roommate who twice sat in on portions of the film in order to heckle it and make fun of me for spending $5 to see it. I thought it was great. Now down to the trick of effectively applying 'the secret'... What other resources out there regarding 'The Law Of Attraction' to help people master it? I noticed that Lipstick Mystic's site, has a product plugging article for Bob Doyle who is a featured speaker in the film. And I tried "the law of attraction" in google. It appears that it's not such a well kept secret any longer...

Just got back from 'V for Vendetta' - the first scene I was laughing where V saves the girl and talks to her like his tongue is stuck on the letter v. LOL!!!! the only word he left out is 'VAVA-VOOM!!!' but it was pretty 'good' movie . . or tried to be at least. I was honestly a bit shocked that a movie about this type of thing could come out and . . . well . . and it's treated in the mainstream like . . it were something that wasn't so close to reality that it should scare everyone just a little bit [??] there were at least a few things I'm sure I didn't get - like what was the connection between the resultant condition of the viruses being created and the man (V?) rising from the ashes of the flames and yelling . . . I mean why did he live??
