Re: The eyes have it

Very good as well, BB. Nihlism: sometimes I'm in the mood for it, but it doesn't last.If it lasted I wouldn't exist, no doubt. I remember learning something from nothing, and yet out of nothing came something, which made nihlism nil for me.
Ain't I annoying sometimes? Grin. Groan. Now take it and make a "found object" of sense or nonsense or....a germ or seed of

Re: The eyes have it

Now all I can think of is that I'm supposed to go next regarding eye color. I gotta say something there or you'll think I'm playing peekaboo. I thought alot about what Montalk wrote about interstellar eye origins, and as I'm the "space cadet/earth to sedna" party guilty of the Independent Worlds thread, let me just say that my eyes are hazel. Sure, I'm psychic but compared to a pro psychic I'm an undergrad in that zone. On the other hand I'm probably much more psychic than the "average." But the most psychic person I knew had blue eyes. How did he handle the information, though? I don't know fully, but it could have had something to do with his suicide. Some people may need to be less psychic ; for them the trick is how much one is able to block out, rather than how much to let in.

I get all sorts of info and vibes and sensations/perceptions: I'm a subtle perciever.
But that doesn't mean I can make sense of it all, order it, or know what to do with it.
That's where other people come in: I need them to give their impression to make a balanced and fair assessement. Then if its their stuff, its theirs to do with what they will, and vice-versa. It's a do-it-yourself type kit. I love kits. I used to get science kits sent to me when I was a kid. My intuition combined with figuring out how to do expiriments=fun.

But one of the dark facets of all this( and I realize the people here are developed, so they know this, but it never hurts to re-remind myself) is that if you don't know where to put the brakes on, or turn off the filter, or however you may put it, you will get mentally and or physically ill. Big time.

I've seen it in many wonderful people. Just like over on the Missing Children thread : we can only handle so much. After alot of trials and errors, as well as successes, I've come to believe the best thing for others is to keep ourselves in a strong, balanced mind and chi state, head erect but relaxed. I read a blurb from the Gospel of Thomas, don't know if it's "for real," but it says Jesus said "Be one of those who pass by." Now, I have to really think about it to get anything out of it, or of most other wise things.

Whew. Well, getting back to why I posted here; just looking for more. I guess I feel in some way it relates to the Independent Worlds thing, in that I started that whole crazy thread on a kind of "psychic sensation" and a bit o' the ol' "hair standing on end" effect. So putting all of this together with further responses from others allows another petri-dish for my off-beat/on beat syncopation with all this eye and "offworld" stuff. Sometimes I think I'm already "offworld" anyhoo, so bear with me. Well, I see an enchanted flying taco in the distance.....

Re: The eyes have it

I'm curious Sedna, can psychics 'read' others through their posts? Some guy on another forum asked this other guy who claimed he was "psychic", to guess his name.

I'm sure it's possible if someone is highly tuned in, but for "undergraduate" psychics, I doubt they can make a link to people through the internet. It feels like such a cold medium, with misinterpretation of what is attempted in being expressed constantly and persistently.

What I'm asking is, am I wrong on this? Surely if there is no distance between ANYTHING (illusion), if electrons trillions of miles away from each other can communicate with each other just as well as electrons right beside each other, there must be some hidden (or obvious)-dynamic at play that allows for perception of people through just their posts. Their 'typed' words, where sound is lacking.

This kind of reminds me of a conversation I had yesterday, a dear friend of mine and I were talking about the idea of being "Observers", this after her having a dream about being at a parade, and after I told her about a Medicine Woman who about five years ago told me I was an observer, and she had said this to me like I was supposed to've already known as much, but I didn't... she said this to me because I was raggin' about feeling frustrated and helpless while watching a whole world of people unravel chaotically, I really wanted to be a force for change.  She said it wasn't my "job" to get down in the mud and get my hands dirty (!)... teehee, but I like to make mud pies.  Seemed like, and still seems like, an odd thing to say to a healer, huh?  Go figure.

So is "Be one of those who pass by" like, and I think you'll like this one Sed big_smile--

If Life is a Highway (Red Ryder), and there is a 6 billion vehicle pile-up on the road to transition today, just keep on walkin'?

HA! Maybe if one is a so called "observer" they're like a cosmic rubber necker?

This is only but one way to look at how one may interpret/intuite another's energy... yes, quanta carry consciousness, but it has little to do with the "nuts and bolts"/electrons, so to speak, pixel action, that creates the typed words on the screen.  What is "hidden" is the frequency resonation between two people, and even soul contracts within the native FRE may be a hidden factor.... rotflmao, and I've must've gone soul-contract crazy before I came back to life this time! Snicker! Snort!

If I get a strong intuitive "hit" from another through reading some of their ideas it's their energy I feel, and that's no where on or in the monitor to be found, it is the part of that person's energy that feels I am approachable, and the part of my energy that doesn't feel under/overwhelmed by their energy. It's like a "perfect fit" energetically, the frequency resonance is.

But those are my thoughts on this, another may have a whole different idea as to how one intuites from posts.  For me, it never happens without an amazing outcome, I've hooked up with four NR members privately, met one of them, I talk coast to coast to another on the phone, and have maintained a steady email relationship with the other two accross borders... all very interesting people, but they all approached me for one reason or another.  Gleefully so, I will add.

I jumped right in here, didn't think either of you would mind. Sedna, your veiws?

And so as not to go off task, my eyes are hazel and change colors depending on what I wear.  Pastel colors turn my eyes really brown, especially powder blue and lilac, and red turns my eyes deep green. There have been times when I was low on energy and my eye color looked washed out.

Lyra, a nod on the blue eyes comment.  My son is rather aloof, he's got some drop dead gorgeous sparkling blue eyes, and this is an attractant for the opposite sex, but he says his only mistress is his computer, he's a graphic artist and a gamer, he says he can't stand the "drama" that goes with women his age.  He just doesn't want to have anything to do with emotional hooey... sounds a little chilly to me, though I have no problem with this, I'm in no rush to be a grandma. roll

Peace y'all!

Re: The eyes have it

Sedna and Auendove, ditto to the tee!  I couldn't have explained it so precise and accurate!

I feel the word "psychic" is maybe old fashioned-sorta like one referring to an African American as a "negro".  Perhaps it is just constructing more concepts (connecting the dots if you will) by assimilating the subtle "dance" of communication. Instead of seeing a square or box, you see the whole cube.

Some cars come with standard features, some with lots more.  The ones with a whole LOT of goodies must be driven carefully until you feel comfortable enough to handle a difficult hwy.  You don't want to piss anyone off by road raging either, cause there may be another car that has little knife spikes comin out of the hubcaps like a BenHur mobile.  Some people know you that you're reading them so respect for privacy is a very important .

Re: The eyes have it

Right.

Also, many skeptics would argue that psychic perception is not valid, as very seldom would one know the exact name or other information (although I have heard that some people can pick read literally : names, phone-number, "Time to call Harry Potter via landline" etc.) I don't. Again, I'm a subtle perciever.

Yet there's so much more to this. Think about a friend you've met in person, say, for coffee. What where the sounds? How did they seem? Tense, preoccupied, etc?
Were there bright colors? Subdued? How did you feel? How did you sense they felt?
Simply by remembering you are calling up past-time psychic impressions, even if all you get is a vague vibe or mood.

Now, read a book. Let's say you read Bronte. Well, you are "reading" or percieving the mind of another person, a person long buried, but whose thoughts remain in the general atmosphere of our time. Her mind is literally "like a book" to you.

Now transfer this process to the present. Trusting what you receive, you may be more on target than you know. And just as with Bronte or your friend, you need not know or remember every word or detail in order to percieve the mind and some of the qualities of this person and event. An artist or writer may have a "public name" or "pen name" just as discussion boards have user names. Nevertheless, when I look at VanGogh or Berte Morrisot I know their work, I can see the colors, sense the mood, note the brushwork speed and spontaneity, etc. just the same as if their real names were Pernacious Hornbeak or Lempita Lumpersand. How do you quantify a painting or a poem? That's the job of archivists, scientists,  and very interesting in its own right, but as for this "instant perception" your better question in this case regarding psychic phenomena is " Why would you WANT to?"

Also hooks in to many other areas: the holographic universe, parallel universes, timeline shifts, and more.
