Re: The Mystery of Jesus

This essay uses the Jesus story to illustrate many of the concepts we are discussing here at NR.  Well worth a read, I think.

THE APOCALYPSE IS ITS OWN SOLUTION

by Paul Levy

We are living in apocalyptic times. Our country and the entire world are in a state of profound dissociation. The opposites being completely split and polarized like they are is itself an expression of some deeper process that is emerging or incarnating. To quote the great doctor of the soul C. G. Jung, "the sickness of dissociation in our world is at the same time a process of recovery, or rather, the climax of a period of pregnancy which heralds the throes of birth."

Psychologically speaking, apocalyptic phenomena represent the birth, in full-bodied manifestation of what Jung calls the archetype of “the Self." In religious terminology, the emergence of the Self is analogous to the incarnation of God or the coming of the Messiah. Being a conjunction of opposites, when the Self, or God incarnates, the opposites split and become totally polarized. As Jung points out “If God reveals his nature and takes on definite form as a man, then the opposites in him must fly apart: here good, there evil." The perfect symbol re-presenting this is the Christ event, in which God incarnated through one man 2000 years ago. When read symbolically, as a dreaming process, God's dark and light sides were totally split and completely polarized in the figures of Christ, who was totally light, and Satan, who was the embodiment of the darkest evil. To quote Jung, "It looks as if the superabundance of light on one side had produced an all the blacker darkness on the other." There was a complete dissociation between the two. Referring to God during his incarnation as Christ, Jung points out: “Had he only given an account of his actions to himself, he would have seen what a fearful dissociation he had got into through his incarnation.  The opposites being totally polarized like they are in our world today is itself an expression that some deeper process   is emerging and being revealed to us. The inner meaning of the word apocalypse is ‘something hidden being revealed.’

The deep dissociation in our world today is itself a reflection of the inner split in the collective consciousness of all of humanity, and we could say, the mind of God, as well. To quote Jung: “All opposites are of God, thereby man must bend to this burden; and in so doing he finds that God in his ‘oppositeness’ has taken possession of him, incarnated in him. He becomes a vessel filled with divine conflict."  To the extent that this conflict is not dealt with consciously via the inner process of individuation, it will be unconsciously acted out and ‘dreamed up’ in the external world in a destructive way, as is fully evidenced by what is happening on our planet today.

Christ on the cross is the perfect symbol of holding the ‘tension of the opposites,’ as the cross symbolizes both the state of being a ‘vessel filled with divine conflict,’ while at the same time being a symbol uniting the opposites. To quote Jung, to find yourself genuinely imitating Christ is to find yourself going through a “symbolic crucifixion experience" where we gain “a growing awareness of God’s oppositeness, in which man can participate if he does not shrink from being wounded by the dividing sword which is Christ. Only through the most extreme and most menacing conflict does the Christian experience deliverance into divinity, always provided that he does not break, but accepts the burden of being marked out by God. In this way alone can the imago Dei [God-image] realize itself in him, and God become man."  It is by holding the ‘tension of the opposites,’ and not splitting off and projecting out the shadow does the Self incarnate through humanity. To quote Jung: “This is the meaning of divine service, of the service which man can render to God, that light may emerge from the darkness, that the Creator may become conscious of His creation, and man conscious of himself."

Because God wants to incarnate in humanity, the uniting of the opposites that are intrinsic to God’s nature must take place in humanity, too. To quote the Trappist monk and author Thomas Merton, “For we must see that the meaning of man has been totally changed by the Crucifixion: every man is Christ on the Cross, whether he realizes it or not. But we, if we are Christians [and we are all ‘Christians’], must learn to realize it." We need to wake up and recognize the deeper process (“every man is Christ on the Cross" ) that pervades the entire field and is enacting itself through each and every one of us.

Instead of ‘holding the tension of the opposites’ that the cross symbolizes, however, the religious right splits-off from and dissociates from their shadow, projecting out and dreaming up their own darkness ‘out there.’ By then trying to destroy this darkness they become possessed by it. Born-again Christians who feel that the apocalypse is soon to happen and are waiting for the ‘rapture’ are missing the entire point. Fundamentalists who buy into end-time prophecies and are willing to destroy other people to prepare for the coming of the Christ are completely misguided.

It is a very dangerous situation we are in -- because of the position of power they find themselves in, the religious right can literally dream up and create the very apocalypse that they are imagining is prophesized, like a Self-fulfilling prophecy. In a perversely self-reinforcing feedback-loop, the more death and destruction happens, the more this confirms to them the truth that their deluded end-time scenario is actually happening as prophesized. In a diabolical self-validating vicious cycle, the religious right are ignoring the role they are playing in creating exactly what they are using as evidence to prove the rightness of their viewpoint

Seen symbolically, when Christ is on the cross God is in such an extremely dissociated and traumatized state that he is not just attacking himself but is actually killing himself, literally committing suicide. The cross perfectly symbolizes the mysterious correspondence and correlation between incarnation (of the Self) and the self-destructive nature of trauma. Is there a deeper meaning to why our culture's myth of the incarnation of God 2000 years ago in Christ was in the form of a trauma, of an abuse drama (the crucifixion)? Is there a difference between God, who is one with everything and all, putting nails through his own body during the crucifixion, and propelling jet planes through skyscrapers on September 11?

When contemplated as a dreaming process, the fact that the apocalypse archetype is activated deep inside the human psyche and is playing itself out collectively in this world of ours means that the Self, or what some call God, is incarnating not just through one man, like it did through Christ 2000 years ago, but is incarnating through all of humanity. Christ was the first attempt of God to incarnate and transform itself. Now humanity as a whole will be the subject of this process.

To quote Jung: “the imago Dei pervades the whole human sphere and makes mankind its involuntary exponent." We, as a species have all gotten drafted into a deeper, more powerful archetypal, transpersonal process that has so taken possession of us that it is unconsciously acting itself out through us. It is like we are all playing roles in a mythic, archetypal drama, what Jung would call a “divine drama of incarnation."  God is incarnating through humanity, and in that incarnated form it offers itself as a self-sacrifice to bring about its own transformation- just like what happened to Christ 2000 years ago. To quote Jung: “One should make very clear to oneself what it means when God becomes man. It means nothing less than a world-shaking transformation of God."  The ordeal that humanity is undergoing is the sacrificial act to bring about the transformation of what Jung would call the “not yet transformed God"  entering the human sphere in search of its own transformation. By this self-sacrifice and self-destruction God is bringing about its own transformation just like it did through Christ, though this time, instead of being incarnated in one person, God is incarnating in the mortal, fleshy body of all of humanity.

What is happening in our world right now IS the second Coming of Christ, what Jung calls the “Christification of many."  If not recognized, however, we will continue to unconsciously act this process out (Self)destructively, where we all become suicide bombers, killing none other than our(Selves). Being possessed by a deeper archetypal force and acting it out unconsciously is always traumatic and always results in self-destruction. The only way to heal from trauma is to assimilate it, which demands that we radically evolve to a higher state. Trauma is therefore initiatory, as it furthers the evolution of the species. To say trauma is initiatory means that the experience of trauma itself is the very medium through which a deeper level of consciousness is potentially actualized.

To quote Jung, the “incarnation of God- the essence of the Christian message- can then be understood as man’s creative confrontation with the opposites and their synthesis in the Self, the wholeness of his personality."  If enough of us wake up to that the archetype of the Self is incarnating through us we can connect with each other and channel this process consciously as ‘collective reciprocal individuation,’ in which we mutually support and strengthen each other’s lucidity and realization. This is to recognize that we are all interconnected appendages in the ‘mystical body of Christ,’ which is to realize that we are not separate from each other but are actually all on the same side. This is to snap out of the self-perpetuating illusion of the fear-based separate self and recognize that we are one(Self). We can then collaboratively hook up with each other and work together to create a container so that we can metabolize this more powerful archetypal energy and express it creatively, constructively and compassionately. This is an evolutionary impulse offered us by the universe that we are invited to participate in.

We play a crucial role in the divine incarnation process. We become the medium through which God reconciles, resolves and reunites the opposites intrinsic to the totality of its nature. We become the instrument through which God becomes aware of itself and incarnates itself into, as and through this world of ours. To quote Jung “Man is the mirror which God holds up to himself, or the sense organ with which he apprehends his being."

If Christ is God incarnate, no one could have taken his life away from him against his wishes. Seen as a dreaming process, those who betrayed Christ, conspired against him, or killed him, were less fully responsible agents than instruments or tools in the hands of God. There is a hidden correlation between evil on the one hand and the work of incarnation, salvation and redemption on the other. God has mysterious ways of accomplishing his secret intentions. As Christ hangs on the cross, to quote Jung “the ’prince of this world,’ the devil, vanquishes the God-man at this point, although by so doing he is presumably preparing his own defeat and digging his own grave. According to an old view, Christ is the ‘bait on the hook’ (the Cross) with which he catches ‘Leviathan'  (the devil)."  Seen symbolically, this is analogous to what is happening in this current day, as after the election the ‘prince of this world’ has seemingly vanquished all that is Good and Virtuous and has become ruler of this world. Might he be ‘digging his own grave’ in the process?

The very process of us mutually dreaming up the expected and prophesized apocalypse is itself the very vehicle or medium through which we potentially wake up to the fact that we are all collaboratively dreaming up our universe together. Encoded in these apocalyptic times are the clues for its own integration and transcendence. The symptoms of our time contain within themselves, in hidden symbolic form, the key to their re-solution. The key to how our situation manifests depends on whether or not we recognize the deeper process that is symbolically revealing itself to us as it acts itself out through us. Becoming conscious is the key, for consciousness itself is the agency through which both God and humanity become transformed and inter-mingled as one.

People, fundamentalist Christian or otherwise, who are waiting for the coming of the Messiah are ‘missing the mark,’ which is the inner meaning of the word ‘sin.’ WE are and always have been the very Messiah we are waiting for. It is simply a question of whether we recognize this or not. Let’s realize this, for God’s sake, as well as our own.

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

Jung was invaluable to me to understanding the underlying themes that the story of Jesus represents.  If these events really happened, then God took in the psychological components of our psyches.  God was working on a level we would understand.  Perhaps this level is the level of God to begin with, even, and this is how God speaks to us below our rough, conscious minds.  Regardless, the authors were speaking on a much deeper level in a lot of things when reciting events, real or imagined, in the Bible.

“And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verify I say unto thee, To-day shalt thou be with me in Paradise.”  LUKE 23:39-43.

Regarding this passage, I began wondering about Prometheus and the stolen fire.  Perhaps Christ is the stolen fire that humanity has acquired.  I forget which gnostic gospel contains the statement by Jesus saying that "if flesh has produced the spirit, then wonder of wonders" or something to that extent.  Maybe the flesh did stumble upon this God-spark, thus "stole" it from the gods.  It reminds me of the Garden of Eden.  Christ perhaps represents the attainment of heaven by the flesh-produced souls, with one thief (the thieves representative of two sides in every person, the lower and the higher, one pointing down, the other pointing up) mocking Jesus, missing the point and looking for an outward sign, a continuation of life on Earth, in the flesh, never surpassing that flesh, while the other thief understands that what we do on Earth isn't what condemns us, but what we hold in our hearts.  The condemnation is being born as flesh, and we should not carry on that condemnation of the flesh, which is an attitude more than actions.  We should believe in transcendence of the flesh, to the spirit, and act accordingly.  If we do not, we are concerned with nothing but the baser things, and our actions reflect this, to our detriment.  Once we really believe this, and obtain the transcendent mind that comes with true manifestation of a spirit (a belief in a spirit, which raises us above Earth-type concerns above all things), then we are "born-again" and capable of reaching heaven.

Anyway, just some thoughts.

* When we start identifying wisdom with our ability to comprehend its form, what wisdom is that?
* Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

hi Haven, I Googled for that quote "if flesh has produced the spirit, then wonder of wonders."    It is from the Gospel of Thomas, the exact quote is:

Jesus said, “If the flesh was created because of the spirit, it is a wonder; but if spirit is produced because of the body it is a wonder of wonders. I myself marvel how this great wealth was placed within this poverty."

I think we can rely on that old chestnut that we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience.  So, Jesus' speaking of this possibiity (that the body produced the spirit) as a "wonder of wonders" is pointing up how far-fetched is this concept,
and this is further confirmed by speaking of spirit as "this great wealth" inhabiting "this poverty" (the flesh).

As for the relation of Christ with fire--"INRI", the inscription on the cross above Jesus' head, has been interpreted in the hermetic tradition as "Igni Natura Renovata Integra" - All of Nature is Restored by Fire, instead of the usual meaning, King of the Nazarenes.  In this sense, "fire" is higher-frequency knowledge, and Jesus is a deliverer of this knowledge/fire.  The Hermetics have also spoken of "the return of INRI" ushering in the thousand years of Peace and rebirth of the Earth.  This strikes me as another version of the "second coming of Christ" concept,
and as Paul Levy says in his essay, and as I've noted here in this thread, this is really about the Christ consciousness awakening in us, or as Jung said, the "Christification of many."

Jesus said, “If the flesh was created because of the spirit, it is a wonder; but if spirit is produced because of the body it is a wonder of wonders. I myself marvel how this great wealth was placed within this poverty."

Having just got here and read  that quote: what it says to me is that Jesus IS saying that somehow the body DOES "produce" the spirit -Jesus saying that he "marvels as to how..."  is saying to me that he knows it is so.  Maybe there is a "seed" there in the first place and we grow that seed into a full "spirit" whilst in body...

Love that Merton stuff.........

"The Earth is in exchange with higher levels of existence. For this an apparatus is
needed. Mankind is that apparatus. This exchange is not automatic; it requires work."

I get the same reaction to that quote;  Jesus was saying that the spirit is produced because of the flesh.  I don't know why.  Maybe because it says "great wealth was placed within this poverty."  My ego, I guess, always wants to disagree with this, but I feel it is a surface disagreement, so I don't know which is the truth.  The flesh producing the spirit is entirely plausible, however, and would explain a lot of things.  There's always been something fishy about having to remember who we are, instead of realizing who we are as we come into being.  Why is it that the flesh has so much sway over us if it is so temporary, and the spirit so eternal?  Then again, some people never fit into the flesh from day one, or at least from an early age.  Proper guidance, I suppose, from opportunistic (or loving, whatever) spirits, perhaps.  A garden and gardeners come to mind.

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

The body is a vessel of the spirit.  Vessels do not "produce" the thing that they contain.  The body is subject to time and death, while spirit is eternal, thus, how can the flesh produce spirit? Spirit is cause, flesh is the (temporal) effect.

I maintain that Jesus was being ironic in that quote.

I'm thinking fermentation (new wine in old wineskins).  I believe that we all have a spark, which I personally term "Christ", produced from simply being alive (maybe the electricity or some such that comes from the nervous system or some other interaction) or even just existing, that will ignite a process, producing a spirit.  That Christ spark is always the center, though.  Refining is a good metaphor, too.  Like I said, however, that is just my first impression when I read that passage, and it always makes me wonder.

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

Babies and small children by and large manifest more of that divine spark than do older people, due to the squelching of the spirit under the MCS.  This indicates that we are born with that spirit infusing us.  If it was something that was produced, then one might expect that we would express more of it as time goes on, but as you know, this is seldom the case. So, the spirit animating us is innate.  Our task is to clear away the
things that interfere with our experiencing and manifesting that divinity.
This is why Jesus said, "Unless you become as a little child, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven."  And, that "heaven" is not about a paradisical afterlife, but about accessing the peace and joy that are always
within, always ready to be tapped by us.

The metaphysical truism, "all learning is remembering", seems apropos here.  The C's and many other sources say this is one infinite school,  that all there is is lessons.  Or is it "lessens"?  Maybe they transcribed that wrong lol

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

btw, I believe the meaning of what Jesus said re "You can't put new wine in old wineskins" is that we can't live the truth of  new understandings as long as we are still acting from and living by the old ones.  A radical overhaul is needed, i.e.  "leave all and follow me" (follow the impulses of the Christ consciousness).

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

Babies and small children by and large manifest more of that divine spark than do older people, due to the squelching of the spirit under the MCS. This indicates that we are born with that spirit infusing us.

Or it could indicate that there is less interference with that spark, that connection with God.  The older one gets, the more interference is added, appearing as if it is squelching when it may not be.  I can certainly see how the MCS tries to distract us from connecting that that spark and growing a spirit.

If it was something that was produced, then one might expect that we would express more of it as time goes on, but as you know, this is seldom the case.

This may be the result that if it is not grown by conscious realization, it may not grow at all.  The more one is more focused on the physical, to the detriment of the spiritual, the less one grows.

Our task is to clear away the things that interfere with our experiencing and manifesting that divinity. This is why Jesus said, "Unless you become as a little child, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven."

Or it could be, like I said before, that Jesus is telling us to go back to the source.  I do agree that there is interference, but am interpreting it differently than you for the sake of argument, because I am not sure which is truth.  I wonder if it matters, in the end, how we see it as long as it works.

And, that "heaven" is not about a paradisical afterlife, but about accessing the peace and joy that are always within, always ready to be tapped by us.

I am taking heaven to mean transcending the physical more than anything else, but, yes, that reality is already here.

btw, I believe the meaning of what Jesus said re "You can't put new wine in old wineskins" is that we can't live the truth of new understandings as long as we are still acting from and living by the old ones.

I just mentioned that because fermentation reminded me of that.  I didn't mean to imply that's what he meant.  It certainly does lead to a different interpretation if he was talking about growing a spirit, and not just remembering the spirit.

A radical overhaul is needed, i.e. "leave all and follow me" (follow the impulses of the Christ consciousness).

Like I said, in the end, functionally, it may not matter.  In the way that you and I are proposing, though different, the path is the same.  This is another reason why I don't discount a lot of religious wisdom.  While it may not be exactly truth the way they present it, it still works the way it should.  There are many crowds to get through to, and it would work best for a wise person to speak a certain way to a less subtle crowd, and having it work, while the subtle crowd will naturally interpret it to something more profound, and have it produce the same results.  Everybody plays, everybody wins.

* When we start identifying wisdom with our ability to comprehend its form, what wisdom is that?

Totally agree with all of that.  The Buddha said, "There is no truth" which may sound absurd on the face of it, but what it means is there is no ONE truth that is right for everybody.  So, the Buddha taught different people in different ways according to their understanding.  This also relates to the Krishnamurti quote, "Truth is a pathless land."   And, Jesus said again and again in various ways (usually misinterpreted by orthodox Christians)  that the answers were within:  "Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you."

And yes,  everyone wins in the end.  As the Dodo says after the Caucus-Race in Alice in Wonderland:

"Everyone has won, and all must have prizes."

Re: The Mystery of Jesus

And now, heeeeere's some excerpts from the Law of One material on Jesus:

Session #17, February 3, 1981

QUESTIONER: Thank you. Can you tell me who was the entity, before his incarnation on Earth, known as Jesus of Nazareth?

RA: I am Ra. I have difficulty with this question as it is phrased. Can you discover another form for this query?

QUESTIONER: What I meant to say was can you tell me if Jesus of Nazareth came from the Confederation before incarnation here?

RA: I am Ra. The one known to you as Jesus of Nazareth did not have a name. This entity was a member of fifth density of the highest level of that sub-octave. This entity was desirous of entering this planetary sphere in order to share the love vibration in as pure a manner as possible. Thus, this entity received permission to perform this mission. This entity was then a Wanderer of no name, of Confederation origins, of fifth density, representing the fifth-density understanding of the vibration of  understanding or love.

QUESTIONER: Did you say the fifth vibration was that of love?

RA: I am Ra. I have made an error. The fourth-density being is that which we intended to say, the highest level of fourth density going into the fifth. This entity could have gone on to the fifth but chose instead to return to third for this particular mission. This entity was of the highest sub-octave of the vibration of love. This is fourth density.

QUESTIONER: When Jesus of Nazareth incarnated was there an attempt by the Orion group to discredit him in some way?

RA: I am Ra. This is correct.

QUESTIONER: Can you tell me what the Orion group did in order to try to cause his downfall?

RA: I am Ra. We may describe in general what occurred. The technique was that of building upon other negatively oriented information. This information had been given by the one whom your peoples called "Yahweh." This information involved many stricture s upon behavior and promised power of the third-density, service-to-self nature. These two types of distortions were impressed upon those already oriented to think these thought-forms.
This eventually led to many challenges of the entity known as Jesus. It eventually led to one, sound vibration complex "Judas," as you call this entity, who believed that it was doing the appropriate thing in bringing about or forcing upon the one you call Jesus the necessity for bringing in the third-density planetary power distortion of third-density rule over others.
This entity, Judas, felt that, if pushed into a corner, the entity you call Jesus would then be able to see the wisdom of using the power of intelligent infinity in order to rule others. The one you call Judas was mistaken in this estimation of the reaction of the entity, Jesus, whose teaching/learning was not oriented towards this distortion. This resulted in the destruction of the bodily complex of the one known as Jesus.

QUESTIONER: Then if the entity Jesus was fourth density and there are Wanderers on the planet today who came from fifth and sixth density, what was it that Jesus did that enabled him to be such a good healer and could these fifth- and sixth-density beings here now do the same?

RA: I am Ra. Those who heal may be of any density which has the consciousness of the spirit. This includes third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh. The third density can be one in which healing takes place just as the others. However, there is more illusory material to understand, to balance, to accept, and to move forward from.
The gate to intelligent infinity can only be opened when an understanding of the in-streamings of intelligent energy are opened unto the healer. These are the so-called Natural Laws of your local space/time continuum and its web of electromagnetic sound or nexi of in-streaming energy.
Know then, first, the mind and the body. Then as the spirit is integrated and synthesized, these are harmonized into a mind/body/spirit complex which can move among the dimensions and can open the gateway to intelligent infinity, thus healing self by light and sharing that light with others.
True healing is simply the radiance of the self causing an environment in which a catalyst may occur which initiates the recognition of self, by self, of the self -healing properties of the self.

QUESTIONER: How did Jesus learn this during his incarnation?

RA: I am Ra. This entity learned the ability by a natural kind of remembering at a very young age. Unfortunately, this entity first discovered his ability to penetrate intelligent infinity by becoming the distortion you call "angry" at a playmate. This entity was touched by the entity known as Jesus and was fatally wounded.
Thus the one known as Jesus became aware that there dwelt in him a terrible potential. This entity determined to discover how to use this energy for the good, not for the negative. This entity was extremely positively polarized and remembered more than most Wanderers do.

QUESTIONER: How did this aggressive action against a playmate affect Jesus in his spiritual growth? Where did he go after his physical death?

RA: I am Ra. The entity you call Jesus was galvanized by this experience and began a lifetime of seeking and searching. This entity studied first day and night in its own religious constructs which you call Judaism and was learned enough to be a rabbi, as you call teach/learners of this particular rhythm or distortion of understanding, at a very young age. At the age of approximately thirteen and one-half of your years, this entity left the dwelling place of its earthly family, as you would call it, and walked into many other places seeking further information. This went on sporadically until the entity was approximately twenty-five, at which time it returned to its family dwelling, and learned and practiced the art of its earthly father. When the entity had become able to integrate or synthesize all experiences, the entity began to speak to other-selves and teach/learn what it had felt during the preceding years to be of a worthwhile nature. The entity was absolved karmically of the destruction of an other-self when it was in the last portion of lifetime and spoke upon what you would call a cross saying, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." In forgiveness lies the stoppage of the wheel of action, or what you call karma.

QUESTIONER: What density is the entity known as Jesus in now?

RA: I am Ra. This information is harmless though unimportant. This entity studies now the lessons of the wisdom vibration, the fifth-density, also called the light vibration.

QUESTIONER: In our culture there is a saying that he will return. Can you tell me if this is planned?

RA: I am Ra. I will attempt to sort out this question. It is difficult. This entity became aware that it was not an entity of itself but operated as a messenger of the One Creator whom this entity saw as love. This entity was aware that this cycle was in its last portion and spoke to the effect that those of its consciousness would return at the harvest.
The particular mind/body/spirit complex you call Jesus is, as what you would call an entity, not to return except as a member of the Confederation speaking through a channel. However, there are others of the identical congruency of consciousness that will welcome those to the fourth-density. This is the meaning of the returning.

This passage is interesting.  For one, when Jesus went into the desert, he was tempted by Satan, who promised him power in the 3D world, just as Yahweh did in the OT to the Isrealites.  This leads some to the conclusion that Yahweh was trying to tempt Jesus to continue Yahweh's rule.  Yahweh is Satan, in other words.  Satan was the God of this world, just as Yahweh was the God of this world.  The other, continuing in the same vein, is that Yahweh always promised his followers children, among other temporal things, as a reward for service, which shows that there was no promise of heaven or a transcendent world, only continuation of 3D.  The Israelites, kept in the dark about higher realms, would look at the promise of children, and land for those children, as a form of success and immortality.

Also, that's an interesting plot by Judas.  Never even crossed my mind.

* When we start identifying wisdom with our ability to comprehend its form, what wisdom is that?
* Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
* People want platitudes, not progress.
