So thats why the US has given Israel 100 billion in aid, not to mention the hundreds of billions worth of military hardware they sold them at knockdown prices, and the 1 trillion that dissapeared into thin air from the defence budget when Dov Zakhiem was in charge.

The 300 billion thats been spent on the Iraq war would have come in usefull to help these people out.

This struck a chord with me, as I'm certain it will with many here.  This is saddening beyond words.  *THEY* have taken the dismantling and destruction of this country as we know it to the next level.  This was no random act of nature.  Not by a long shot.

LOOK CLOSE, AMERICA: THIS COULD BE *YOU*!!!

Posted By: Disclosure <Send E-Mail>
Date: Wednesday, 31 August 2005, 3:34 p.m.

Take a good, long, hard, perceptive look at the newscasts, posts, radio reports, web reports, newspaper accounts.

These people on the Gulf Coast have no potable (drinking) water, no toilets, no refrigeration, no food, no basic medical care, no relief from the heat, no clean clothes, no diapers, no personal hygeine, no moving vehicles, no gas to put in them, no communications.

This is civilized America.

This could be YOU.

This could be Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana after an 8.0 on the New Madrid Fault.

This could be Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona after the Long Valley Caldera decides to erupt.

This could be Washington, Oregon, Idaho and countless more states should Mt. St. Helens finally blow again.

This could be the entire Eastern seaboard should the unthinkable happen, a slip-strike underwater movement take place, and an enormous tsunami broach the coast.

This could be Davenport, Iowa; Lawrence, Kansas; Asheville, North Carolina; Knoxville, Tenn.; Cleveland, Ohio; Terre Haute, Ind., Springfield, Ill., should some nut (sponsored by our own government or any other) decide now's the time to release that suitcase nuke.

Did any of these people trudging through the waters in the toilet bowl that is New Orleans have any idea this time last week that their city would be flooded, burning, contaminated, blown away? Do you have that certainty about where you live?

We all had better think about it. I can only speak for us in our little berg in the midwest, but we're as prepared as we can be here for any eventuality: earthquake, flood, tornado, suitcase nuke. We use these reports to this advantage and think WAY, WAY far ahead. We see where the flaws are and understand JUST HOW INEFFECTIVE FEMA AND OTHER "EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCIES" ARE AROUND US. NEW ORLEANS IS THE *PERFECT* EXAMPLE.

We've gotten called down because we're "doomsday" people. We've been made fun of and told "you can't prepare for everything."

Oh really?

If even half the households in N-O had half the backup systems we have here in our home, their "emergency services" would be having a lot easier time.

Do I sound harsh? Damn skippy. The end of things as we know it is eventually going to get here, and we're getting a little sneak peek at how PREPARED our EMS is, after all this Homeland Secure-i-tiy and scrambling and shuffling around of "grants" and other taxpayer-supported funding to GET US PREPARED FOR THIS (??????????)

HOMELAND SECURITY MY DONKEY.

We can only help ourselves and each other. We can't count on any paper agency to do the two-step and "help" us like they SAID THEY WERE GONNA DO AFTER 9/11.

Just my two cents after watching this horror for several days from my comfortable home, which might not be so comfortable should it get shaken to the ground.

Who's gonna come and help ME?

Being kept from these American people also by their Military Rulers have been the uncounted offers of assistance from Nations all around the world, including: Venezuela has offered their Medical Airlift Command for the evacuation of peoples trapped in these devastated regions; Holland has offered the resources of their Public Works Ministry (and who are the acknowledged World Experts for below sea level water evacuation procedures); Russia has offered over 100,000 temporary living structures, along with Military Personal to assist their American counterparts; Iran has offered 1 Billion US Dollars in immediate assistance and guaranteed 5,000,000 barrels of oil at $35.00 US Dollars; China has offered their Military Rescue Forces (Who are acknowledged as one of the best in the world for rescuing peoples in flood ravaged areas.)

All of these offers, and more, the Military Leaders of the United States have declined, and for the their previously stated reason: “The United States Government and its People Respectfully Decline your offer of assistance and refer you to our previous State Department Bulletin (NCO:13788) in which we had stated that this remains an internal action.

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

Hi Lakme and all...

The article's a good wake up call for those who are still delusional about our government.   Personally, I've always known that I'd (or rather, we as a people) would be on our own in the event of some catastrophe.  I'm glad that I never assumed that I'd have the government to help me.  But I realize that many do have this belief, and so they should prepare now, and get into a tougher mindset.  Prepare to be completely on your own. It's always best to prepare and expect the worse but hope for the best.

I've been waiting for years now to see the confirmation that all the conspiracy stuff was really going to happen.   It's 2005 now, and it's starting.  Here we are people, this is it.   After 9/11 I thought for sure that was it, but then nothing else happened.  2001 finished without a peep, and then 2002 and 2003 came and went with nothing other than the Iraq war, which let's face it - doesn't impact the population enough to notice unless you're somebody with a loved one who's serving in the military.  If not, then life goes on, unimpeded.  Gas went up over $2 a gallon, but now we're all used to it.  And we plug along, day after day.

Then the hurricanes kept hitting Florida, and things started seeming a bit weird.  Like hmm, stuff seems to be happening here. But really it was only if you were somebody down in that area.  I'm sure people in the rest of the country barely noticed.    Then the tsunami hit, and it was like holy crap!  A quarter of a million people in 9 countries, killed.   But still, let's face it...that didn't affect hardly anybody in America.  Sadly, half of America probably doesn't even know where Malaysia, Indonesia or Thailand are on an atlas.   People outside of America probably think I'm joking about that.  Trust me, I'm not!  The general consensus here is, "If it ain't America, we don't care."   Then we had the London bombings, and that's when we had our first inkling that stuff was in the works and picking up and that "they" were ready to kick things up a notch.

Now we have this.   People might like to think this won't affect anybody outside of LA, MS and AL, but it's  a ripple effect.  Gas and oil prices for starters are going to skyrocket.   And then we have to realize......where are those 500,000+ people going to go and do now that the Governor has ordered the abandonment of New Orleans?   Where are they going to live?   There are 500,000 poeple who've lost everything.  Even the ones who evacuated in their shiny SUV's left all their belongings behind and only have whateer they took with them and whatever is in their bank account.  This affects everybody.   I don't mean to sound like a fear monger either, so I hope it doesn't come across that way.  It's just that my mind's been going going going all day with this, thinking about everything.

I agree with Auendove.  You are among the most level-headed posters on this forum, and the last thing I would equate you with being is a fear monger.  Quite the opposite, in fact. wink

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

After giving lyra's post further thought, it also reveals an element of exponentiation.

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

Thought I would post Karen Bishop's comments about this, which ring true for me, although of course my heart goes out to those whole lives have been affected by this devastation - Jen

A great cleansing through water has recently occurred in the Gulf Coast of the United States . Areas with a considerable gap in vibration from the lower to the higher vibrations are being affected the most severely. Areas where higher dimensional portals are being respected (i.e. ways of living with a more higher vibrational consciousness) will be untouched during these times of adjustment.

Again, these are manifestations of our recent leap (August 14, 2005) in consciousness and into a higher dimensional reality. As these portals begin to reveal themselves and open, as they are now matching the Newer higher vibrating Earth, all must come into alignment with them.

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

Thanks for the thread. I haven't kept up with this situation on the news. You're my news source. More reliable than what I'd get elsewhere.

Regarding weird things happening elsewhere in the south, something I wrote to a friend today ...

I've been feeling real heavy today, seeing that there's something in the storm that's going to be revealed ... like this is the first really big disaster that's going to make a huge difference in this shift ... the security, the prices ... but I felt it across the south and not just cuz of the storm. It was weird. Or maybe the storm opened it up in me, the "rest of the story".

... after she'd written this to me about her ex who is in Intel in Florida and their son in Texas who they stopped from driving to Florida:

His dad is genuinly worried that he might not make it there safely - there is much more going on than the media is telling (wonder how long they will be able to hold a lid on it....)

He likened it to disaster films with population and disease out of control....

The ex has the kind of job that for 35 years he's told me "if I tell you I have to kill you...." his urgency today was fear for the son's life on the road.

The lack of news coverage, loss of all facilities and communication, questionable reporting of loss of life, the human condition, and then Lamm mentions the concentration-camp SuperDome, and I'm a-pingin'. It might be happening ... fast.

I think HAARP had a lot to do with the hurricane. You know when hurricanes are about to slam into Florida and but suddenly shift more northeasterly? My understanding is that HAARP is that precise. But, what are the overriding divine forces at work? Does this also not need to be erased if it is such a low vibe? (Human suffering notwithstanding.) Something's got to wake people up too. Is Kali instrumental with the needs and tools at hand? No denying the wretchedness of the situation ... huddled masses ... weeping and gnashing.

As Karen Bishop says, it must happen.

Re: Katrina, New Orleans, Biloxi, etc.

Exponentiation: the act or process of raising a quantity to a power--called also involution.

As outlined in lyra's post, whether she realized it or not when she wrote the post, there is an exponential element of disasters and catastrophe exposed therein, most of which are socio-economic and political in nature. Some may liken Katrina to a natural disaster, and while likely she began as a natural process of mother nature I personally have little doubt that this hurricane was manipulated. I briefly commented on this on the "What's the latest in FL?" page. I can comment on it further if it's needed.

Now, the reason I got back up out of bed to make another post, and had been hesitating to do so because it's not about a hurricane, was to remark here that there was a horrible incident in Iraq today--

Panicked by rumors of a suicide bomber, thousands of Shiite pilgrims broke into a stampede on a bridge during a religious procession Wednesday, crushing one another or plunging 30 feet into the muddy Tigris river. About 800 died, mostly women and children, officials said. ....

http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/story. … mp;sc=1107

My point is: there is an exponential element of socio-economic and political terrorism unfolding right before our very eyes, if one has the mind and eyes to see through the smoke screens. It's as if TPTB are indeed ramping up for human "involution".

Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.

.........and taking into consideration what I mentioned about my intuitive impressions of New Orleans, that's very interesting indeed...........something was definitely not alligned with New Orleans, that's for sure, if that's what's really going on here.   As someone who felt the vibe, I guess I'm not surprised.  Saddened, yes, calling the government a bungling clown puppet operation for their mishandling of the situation, yes, but not surprised.

I hate to admit it, but CNN.com has been giving a pretty good picture of what's really going on down there.   I avoided going there most of the day because I was disgusted with their headline captions that seemed to be devilishly reveling in this entire situation, but at any rate I caved in and found some eye opening first hand accounts reported by CNN correspondents who are stationed around the city:

- People are sleeping on the highways and under the overpasses of I-10;
- I-10 is wrecked in spots, making it impassable;
-  There's no water, and people are getting desparate and trying to wave down cars on the highway by waving empty water jugs;
- The city has filled with so much water that it has finally "evened out" with the lake;
-  Looters are totally RAMPAGING the city, and it's gone beyond just stealing shoes from Walgreens, as one account reported.   They're going after EVERYBODY -- cops, hospital workers, regular people, you name it.  They cleeaned out the guns from Wal Mart and all the gun shops, and reports are that they are roaming the city.   Hospital workers are barricaded in one of the hospitals because of the looteres that were trying to get in.  A nurse went outside to get fresh air and was robbed at gun point.  In the write up blurb, the CNN correspondent kept saying that the cops "can't do anything", they can't stop it, it's out of control.  There are more looters than there are cops, and "the cops are out numbered."

There's more, but that's the gist.

What I haven't written yet is that I'm seeing this situation from so many perspectives, all simultaneously, although I've chosen to only write from one perspective, which is the alarmed, shocked, upset 3rd density one.   It's a bit weird, but good in that it creates a more well rounded mindset on the whole thing.  Kind of schizo too in some ways, because I'm being pulled in at least 3 or 4 different directions with these various perspectives.
