People who have been molested may not find the jokes i posted funny, but none of the jokes i posted are gonna cause them harm either , we are not that fragile.

Whenever we hurt emotionally, we know we have an open wound.  Perhaps instead of attacking the one who "poked" us, we should be grateful they called it to our attention so we can work on healing it.
Otherwise we remain perpetual victims.

I skimmed this thread with interest.  I myself was molested as a child, yet I did find humor in a few of the jokes Brad posted.  I agree with Kato3 that we need to be able to laugh at the manifestations of our shadow.

Here's a MJ joke I heard the other day that has nothing to do with that subject:  "America is the only country where a poor Black man can grow up to be a rich White woman."

I thought it was funny big_smile
