Thanks, Asada, for the list. I've been doing most of the things there for quite a while now. I read about all the crap that we are exposed to in Kevin Trudeau's book a couple years ago. I was so disgusted by it that I put it down and didn't read the whole thing until several months later. I was sickened because, essentially, to be healthy and do all those things, you really do have to have some money. And at the time, I was just waking up and couldn't handle it. I'm much better now:)

As far as the RO water goes: it is a wonderful contraption and I'm happy to hear they're coming down in price. But the problem with RO is that Mother has to pay for your clean water. Reverse osmosis wastes more water than is produced for you to drink, and it also takes electricity. Distilled water is not much better, for you have to use fuel (for a stove-top model) or electricity to run it. That wouldn't be so bad except in the long run your body pays the price for drinking distilled water for a long time. I've heard that it's not good for you. I think putting salt or minerals in it, as Barefoot Doc does, may preempt that damage by making it come back to life. I bought a nice stove top one that doesn't require electric, but after hearing that it's not the healthiest choice, I now only use it to make distilled water for my homemade personal care products. I finally found a water filter that does the same amount of work as an RO, and luckily it just came in today!! It's a Berkey water system. Wastes no water, takes no electricity, removes everything except the good stuff, and the filters aren't that much more than the worthless PUR filters I'd been using. The only thing it doesn't remove is fluoride and arsenic, but they do have a post-filter that takes care of those two (which I ordered). I can't wait to start using it. I'm so happy to have found this product. The upfront money was not that bad compared to other systems, and the filters are cleanable to an extent. I will only have to spend like 150 in filters every year, plus I won't use power to operate it, so I think it will be very much worth it.

I'm all about organic clothes, too. But the price is definitely out of my range. Lucky me, I took home ec Organic and hemp fabric on the bolt is infinitely cheaper than the finished product, so that is what I've started buying so that I can make my own clothes. Of course, my skin is quite used to regular clothing so that's not on the top of my list, but it's there...

My food choices are so different now that I know what they're doing to our food supply. I just can't believe I (and everyone I know) had been duped for so long. I had no idea how bad it was. I never even really read the ingredients on most of the things I bought, if you can imagine!! AAARGH!!! Now I don't buy anything without turning over the box to see what's in it, including PC products. Regular shampoo and lotions and soaps are all poison!! I am still so mad at these huge corporations who only care about their f-ing money And like Tim said, when you're raised that way to not know the difference, then who's going to tell you about it when you're in charge of your life? Thank goodness for Kevin and all the other courageous authors out there! My son already knows much more at 5 than I did at the age of 30! He's all about organic produce and eating good. I'm so happy:) He will never be one of their drones!!

Well, enough ranting; I'm expending too much energy on those corporate bastards...

Peace,
Debbie

Andyw,
how do you define "seeking liberation" from this poison world? What steps are you taking? Drinking cleaner water and wearing healthier fabrics is counterproductive to seeking liberation from our poison world? I understand that fasting entirely from physical/material input can be a potent spiritual experience, but otherwise it seems like you are just advocating the same "don't worry about the physical, its the spirit that is important" philosophy that we've already discussed here.
Tim

We get Miracle Krystal Salt in a small salt shaker from the health food store, it also comes in big pinkish chunks, made by http://www.powerorganics.com. I have not tried it yet, but you can make a drink called Sole by placing the large crystals in a jar of water and letting them dissolve. You then take a tsp in a big glass of water every morning, and it is apparently powerfully detoxifying. What I have tried is taking a Sole bath, which is adding a cup of Himalayan salt to the tub. I found a great deal for healing bath salts and muds on Ebay here ($25 = 25lbs, and just $8 for shipping! Marketed by Nick Begich, author of Angels Don't Play This HAARP:

http://www.earthpulse.com/src/category.asp?catid=4

Cell/wave Guardâ„¢ is a new revolutionary ceramic composition which has the ability to absorb electromagnetic energy waves from your home portable and cell phone. This product has been tested in both government and independent laboratories.

The Cell/Wave Guardâ„¢ is constructed of patented ceramics which act as a radio frequency (RF) radiation absorber which neutralizes up to 61% of RF emissions according to the United States patent on the technology.

Well, I mean, its only $20 so I'll probably just get one, makes sense to me.

Asada, thanks for the reverse osmosis filter on Ebay tip! Ebay is really great, this is a much better deal than I was seeing.

These sound cool, I'll look for these on Ebay as well:

http://www.healthegoods.com/bath_ball_b … l_ball.htm

The Crystal Ball bath filter by Rainshowr is an entirely new concept in removing chlorine from bath tub water. It requires no plumbing attachment as it works right in the bathtub.

It removes 90% or more of total chlorine from bath water and it can do this 200 times before needing to replace the filter media. The removal of chlorine is by the conversion of chlorine to harmless chloride. It uses replaceable media pouches which are easy to install.

Interesting that it uses quartz crystals. I found an interesting channeled book from the '70s on Flower Essences and Gem Healing by Gurudas, it is apparently a rare one to find now. It has a short chapter on healing baths, and recommends using lemon juice in the bath as well as sea salts. It also recommended sewing your own washcloth-pouches filled with finely ground quartz crystals, and using it to scrub the body. It sounded like a really nice idea, but I never got around to trying it out.

I really dig organic clothes. I am wearing a pair of hemp/OG cotton hiking socks today, and they are seriously the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. I also have some thinner socks by Jade Planet made of hemp, they are very nice and soft and very cheap on Ebay. Finally Maggie's Organic clothes are super nice, they do shirts and tights as well. Apparently bamboo is a really good eco-fiber that is good for absorbing moisture, but it is pricier than hemp. I haven't worn anything made of bamboo yet, although I got a really cool Of The Earth shirt made of 50% SOY and 50% cotton! I had never heard of Soy being used as a fabric before! It is soft and buttery material.

Starling, thanks for that tip, we will definitely try it on all of our non-organic cotton clothes. Unfortunately I know for a fact it would melt some of the "fleece" longjohns we've had in the past!

Tim

thr33tim3 wrote:

My spending money has lately been going towards replacing my thrift store clothes with organic fabrics. Again, average American my age is going to Salvation Army, buying whatever fits, and paying about $5 an item max, including coats. You start looking into organic cotton clothing, you're looking at $50 for a t-shirt. $80 for a hooded sweatshirt. $15 for a pair of organic boxer briefs. But did you know that non-organic cotton can use up to 1/3lb of toxic pesticide chemicals to create just one t-shirt! So, it is very important to have healthy fabric touching your skin, and some people are literally irritated by the touch of non-organic cotton. We have recently determined that my fiance is one of these people, and only through literally replacing all of her clothing with organics have we been able to eliminate constant itching and irritation of her skin. The difference is noticeable, just from different fabric!! Again the American public has been deceived. My parents LOVE synthetic material clothing!

Here's something you can try; boil the cotton garment for 20 minutes in soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. This will remove just about all the chemical contaminants (and the permanent press, too). Don't try this with synthetics; some will melt. Also, some cheap stuff now uses glue to hold seams together.

thanks for the information everyone! I did not know about the organic clothing.. in fact I never even thought about that until you mentioned it.. scary.. I will have to start getting an organic wardrobe going when I get the cash for it. BTW if you check ebay for a reverse osmosis system- a 5 stage with 2 carbon filters (granule and block), a organic resin matrix and the membrane stage plus UV to kill microbes is just a little over 100$ and that comes with the filters as well! I can't believe how inexpensive they are getting! I plan on getting one myself when I move in a few months because the old brita is not doing it for me (but better than tap..). Himalayan Crystal Salt sounds really interesting as well- I can't wait to see what kind of detox results I start to notice when I use it. BTW, cilantro is said to actually remove heavy metals from the body according to recent studies, but apparently it has to be fresh for it to be very efficient. I took a look at several people's accounts of trying to do the egg thing online when you mentioned that newspaper that is less than reputable and it did not work so thankfully it is not that bad sorry for the bad info I do feel like my brain is getting cooked when I use them though I agree that having the right mindset and meditation on health is very important, but I think that you cannot neglect the physical side of things because that is one part to the whole person and in order to be strong you must address the whole person - body mind and spirit.

The basic message was "all this health food crap is just light-sider feel-good fluff. If your higher self wants you to die when you're 40, it won't matter if you've been eating red meat everyday for years or you've been macrobiotic, you cannot change your higher destiny. Therefore... don't even worry about health, do what feels right on YOUR incarnational path." Struck me as a big, cynical trap at the time, and I still think that is what it is. I have seen people on NR who say that their awareness of chemtrails and electro-magnetic fields automatically means that they have "risen above the effects of it", they have "raised their vibrational frequency" such that they are not effected by such things. This sounds like a very easy way to not take responsibility for one's physical health, just assuming that you have some sort of "golden vibrational shield" that is protecting you from all harm. Not even that its a bad idea to have that mentality, but I mean, the proof is in the pudding... all the affirming in the world doesn't add up to much if you're still waking up in the mornings feeling like you've been hit by a bus.

That's true.....I think the truth lies somewhere in that infamous "third option," because once again, what we're seeing here is the either/or limited two choices. For so many people it's either "The physical doesn't matter!" and be all new agey wingding, head in the clouds, or obsess about the physical to the point where one forgets the power of the mind and belief.

The third option is for a person to make sure they're doing their part to take care of their body, eating and drinking the right foods and not abusing themselves, but while acknowledging the power of the mind and how much our beliefs affect us. Both are needed for optimal health.

The C's channeling was BIG time into stressing the non-importance of the body. Anytime Laura who was very large and unhealthy would ask about changing her diet ways or asking about health concerns they'd always dismiss her concerns with platitudes not worrying about the physical. I'm sorry, but I don't agree, it's such bunk, and I don't care who the C's are. Maybe they've been without bodies for so long they've forgotten that if one is going to function properly in this realm and fullfill their life agenda/mission/destiny/whatever you want to call it to the best of their ability then yes, being healthy IS important. Eating the right foods, instead of indiscriminately shoving any old thing into one's mouth and weighing 300-400 pounds makes an incredible difference in one's personal energy, moods and mental clarity....thus ensuring they can accomplish that much more while here. So yeah, I NEVER understood the whole "the physical doesn't matter!" nonsense so prevailant within channeling and the new age in general.

thr33tim3 wrote:

Not to be a debunker, but when I read about cellphones cooking an egg that struck me as extremely far-fetched.

Excellent list, Asada, I have been working on such lists for myself for a while now, refining and healing slowly but surely. It is not just a matter of affirming vibrant health and meditating on releasing toxins, it takes a LOT of physical work, effort and $$$.

It is especially frustrating how expensive it can be to restore health, especially when you were raised by parents who basically behaved in the exact opposite of this healthy list. First it takes the time to educate oneself, and then you learn of all these products that you've been using that you need to STOP IMMEDIATELY, and then you learn of all the "healthy alternatives" you could use instead. But man, all this "conscious consuming" really adds up for the 50% of the world's population that never have more than $2,000 to their name at any given time. (I should be so lucky, that would be a raise for me!) So its tough to be like "Oh, I really need to buy a reverse osmosis filter! Wow they are about $300." Well I also need filters for my showerheads, and there are little quartz-crystal filter balls you can hang off your bath taps to filter that water as well, these are all going to be about $50 each. Part of me knows it is totally worth it and important, and it would probably be a one-time setup cost... the other part of me says that after I pay my rent, bills and put aside money for groceries, I will probably have about $400 left over for "spending"... and that's not counting gas, or incidental stuff like car repairs, and forget going to restaurants. This is the state that MANY people in America live in. At least I have the inclination to use my limited financial power to heal myself, and not just spend it on DVDs or a Nintendo Wii.

Our solution has been to buy organic clothes on Ebay, where you can often find a $60 Prana shirt for more like $20, or a $75 Of The Earth sweater for $15ish, that sort of thing. Just search under Men/Women's Clothing using the keywords "organic" or "hemp". We wouldn't be able to afford full prices, so we are slowly putting together our wardrobes, one piece at a time, it has been a couple months now. Today I am wearing mostly hemp and organic cotton, only my underwear are non-organic. Too much information, I know.

A New Age paradigm that I have encountered is the "do whatever you want to do, and if you BELIEVE you are healthy, you will be!" I believe Seth said this sort of thing, and more recently it was the thesis of The Author of Matrix V from Leading Edge Research. Not even that its a bad idea to have that mentality, but I mean, the proof is in the pudding... all the affirming in the world doesn't add up to much if you're still waking up in the mornings feeling like you've been hit by a bus.

asada wrote:

quit using cellular phones. They cook your brain- they actually decrease the size of brain cells. If you take a raw egg and put it between two cellphones the egg will be fully cooked in a matter of hours. Also, the frequency band that is used by cellular phones is the same as the second order waves discovered by Wilhelm Reich as a way to affect thought transmission to allow the mind to be manipulated. They are altering your thought process with cellphones without you even knowing it. There are all sorts of studies on how microwave radiation affects the biological systems of the body- not just the brain.

Not to be a debunker, but when I read about cellphones cooking an egg that struck me as extremely far-fetched. I use cellphones sparingly, and do not like to carry them on my person, but I have had to spend a significant amount of time on them, and I think that it would be pretty obvious if the phone was cooking the side of your head like an egg. So I thought I'd add to the silliness." He expressed bewilderment at how seriously people seemed to be taking it. One British exam study site, he said, had republished the information without even attempting to verify it.

Asada wrote:

Don't use table salt (sodium chloride). Use celtic sea salt or some other form of unprocessed sea salt. Sodium Chloride by itself has a poisonous action on the human body. It interferes with the exchange of water within the cell to water outside the cell. This creates bloating and interferes with the function of your thyroid gland which causes obesity. You will lose around 5pounds (maybe more) of water weight when you start using sea salt. Also sea salt consists of around 80 different neccessary minerals and increases your energy level considerably because of the electrolytes. You can throw a couple grains of sea salt into a glass of water to fortify it with minerals and it actually gives the water a sweet taste.

I am really getting fascinated by Himalayan Crystal Salt, which is millions of years old and contains even more minerals than sea salts. Amazing!):
http://myworld.ebay.com/specialclaycom

Well, lots to think about. I intend to endeavor a cleanse starting around the Solstice this month, maybe more of a juice fast.
Good health to you!
Tim

Thank you Free*world~ Yes, I find it appalling that people would actually want fluoride in their water! I saw a company that markets gallons of drinking water with fluoride and their main marketing gimmick is "keeps kids teeth strong and healthy!" Although studies have shown that people who use fluoride are just as prone to get cavaties (and from some of the things I have read MORE prone to them) People will believe whatever they are told from an authority figure through conditioning.. You will see that much of what they do is targeting the pineal gland.. the pineal gland is bathed in some of the most nutrient and oxygen rich blood in the body.. so they try to dirty the blood and the lungs as much as possible so that it is only working at a fraction of it's potential. Christ Jesus said that people in the future would not only be doing the things he was doing, but that they would be exceeding what he was doing. But I have not seen one person raised from the dead or multitudes of people fed from a single lunchbox yet. The problem is that they know what we are capable of and they are dirtying our bodies to make sure that we can't do these sorts of things. Because we would be like Neo from the Matrix and we won't be able to be controlled anymore.
