That's great... the newest trend in mind/body/spirit health care.
You can start a medetoxification clinic.

Re: Complete health.

Energy, where are you? I am in Auckland and found the right oil at Harvest Wholefoods in the West Lynn Shops. The Epsom branch should have it also.

Re: Complete health.

Oh. Maybe I could send you one from NZ. Although that probably wont help you in the long run and its probably classed as food so wouldnt get there anyway...  =/

Re: Complete health.

What's the problem?  Did you guys not read what I posted from the doctor who said the refined oil is preferable? roll

Re: Complete health.

Oh bugger. Well that probably solves your problem Energy. Now I have to swish my way through 500 ml of cold pressed before I can get refined. I must have been so excited my eyes were going too fast for my brain.

Dr. Karach

A little background on this doctor might be helpful.  You know me and my distrust for the white coats.

A distrust I share for the most part.  However, he is one of a small handful of doctors who have been responsible for helping to popularize the oil pulling therapy.  Any doctor who is that open to alternative treatment is worth listening to, in my book.
Apparently it's worked for him too.  From that site Once and Future so kindly let us know about:

Dr.F.Karach says: "With the oil therapy, I healed my chronic blood disease of fifteen years. With the use of this therapy, I was healed within three days of an acute arthrosis that had forced me to lie in bed."

Re: Complete health.

Does anybody know how this actually works????   big_smile   I'm currently doing this, and purchased (refined) sunflower oil and today will be Day 3 for me.........but how exactly does the oil work to perform all these miraculous feats??    How does swishing oil in your mouth cure ailments within your body???

Re: Complete health.

In respect to the what to me is the riddiculous debate regarding unrefined or refined oil the simple fact is when you buy cold-pressed ORGANIC oil why would you want it refined?

I don't know.  But the stuff I bought is organic, and refined.  big_smile

Re: Complete health.

Fair enough, Lyra, on that note I shall say no more, unless asked of course which somehow I doubt.

Lyra, How is your oil swishing going?

Re: Complete health.

BUMP.

Can anyone report how this is going? Any noticeable effects??

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Re: Complete health.

I started this on the 16th of October mainly because of a persistent tooth ache.  It went away completely and my sensitivity to hot and cold on that side of my mouth disappeared as well.

I do it every morning for about 15 minutes.  Haven't had any other noticeable things happen -- haven't gotten any colds or sore throats -- but I usually don't.

That's my update.

Re: Complete health.

Well, I have been doing it for over two weeks now. I spat some on grass on some grass on saturday and the grass is dying (sorry grass).

So there would still appear to be toxins coming out - as described in the website: http://www.oilpulling.com/

I have been feeling perkier and all my excema has disappeared.

I have been doing the swishing thing in the morning and afternoon for 20 minutes, on an empty stomach as advised in the site above.

Will keep updating as news comes to hand  =]

Re: Complete health.

Neo -- thanks for your update.  Interesting indeed about the excema.

My plan is to continue doing this "forever" -- I figure living on a toxic planet regardless how well I eat etc., I'll always have some toxicity -- and this oil pulling appears to be a very benign way to cope.
