Topic: The Sun and solar cycles

I recently watched "The Great Global Warming Swindle".

It is a documentary that describes the correlation between sun temperature and earth temperature.  From that, I looked into solar cycles.

Here is a link to the Wikipedia article about "The Sun":

Here is a section about the Sun's Magnetic field:

Magnetic field

All matter in the Sun is in the form of gas and plasma because of its high temperatures. This makes it possible for the Sun to rotate faster at its equator (about 25 days) than it does at higher latitudes (about 35 days near its poles). The differential rotation of the Sun's latitudes causes its magnetic field lines to become twisted together over time, causing magnetic field loops to erupt from the Sun's surface and trigger the formation of the Sun's dramatic sunspots and solar prominences (see magnetic reconnection). This twisting action gives rise to the solar dynamo and an 11-year solar cycle of magnetic activity as the Sun's magnetic field reverses itself about every 11 years.

Apparently the sun has an eleven year cycle.

Here is the calendar of recent solar cycles:

June 1976    September 1986

September 1986    May 1996

May 1996    circa2007

circa2007    circa2018

According to this schedule, we are currently ending one solar cycle and starting a new solar cycle.

Re: The Sun and solar cycles

That is interesting.  I remember reading somewhere that 2012 was a hoax in that the date was wrong.  It is this year.  I didn't read much of it, and can't remember where I read it.

I read a long time ago about how solar mass perturbations in the radiation sphere of the Sun, penetrate the convection layer, straining magnetic containment lines of force which snap back to their original configuration so quickly that they allow solar mass to eject into space.  When the magnetic lines of force snap back to their original position, they simply do not maintain containment of much of the solar mass which can be millions of miles in size, as it goes off into space.

Here are a few articles in connection to the solar maximum around 2012:

Re: The Sun and solar cycles

Great links PhiConcept.  I've been to the Halexandria site many times.  Before I knew of this site.  I like reading about the Nine Gates.  It started when I was checking to see if Halexandria had any subject matter concerning the movie, " The Ninth Gate."  Well, there was and it led to my picking up some more info on the Tree of Life.

What caught my attention on the link you posted was the following:

<http://www.2012.com.au/unlimited.html> notes that the Mayan “fifth world finished in 1987” [What is termed “the Harmonic Convergence”], but that the “sixth world” does not start until 2012.  This leaves everyone currently “between worlds”, aka the “Apocalypse”, or “revealing”.  The time is apparently upon everyone to work through their “stuff”, both individually and collectively.  They note, for example, that “The Mayan sixth world is actually blank.  This means it is up to us, as co-creators, to start creating the new world and civilization we want now.”  [Why not get on this right after lunch, okay?]

It was not the only thing.  It did however give me concern as to how our state of being, our being conscious, rather than simply dualities; automatons, machanical, personalities thinking and acting habitually, therefore all too often negative, achromatic, dull and through our ignorance and desire seeing suffering as the objective to direct attention to, not unlike a familiar comfortable companion that becomes accepted, through pessimistically seeing no way to mitigate it.  While meanwhile we continue creating more suffering through ignorance and desire.

A slow emotion, by slow meaning maintained at lenth and allowing little time for boredom, indifference, while being aware of the interconnectedness of everything and nothing.

Good judgement comes from experience; experience comes from bad judgement.
