Topic: How's this for weird
I wouldn't normally post "diary" type stuff that's more suited for a personal blog, but this is so strange I'd thought I'd share it with NR, because it's probably something people here could appreciate. I'm posting it under "conspiracy" because I just have no clue where else to file it! ![]()
Alright, necessary but very interesting back story: So last year I worked briefly (4 months) for what I nicknamed "The Illuminati Hotel." I've mentioned it before in another thread, but I only half jokingly referred to this hotel as such due to the thinly disguised pentagon in the logo, and the fact that the owner has oil fields in Texas, and it's such a hoity toity hotel chain in general. Anyway....................the whole way in which I came to be working at this hotel is bizarro in itself. I was finishing up at a temp job I was on, and they wanted me to call the local Doubletree hotel and book a reservation for somebody in the company who was flying into town for a meeting. When I opened the yellow pages to Hotels, I saw the ad for this other particular "Illuminati" hotel.........and like I was in a hypnotic trance, I thought, "I'm going to work there." I even recognized it at the time as being a post-hypnotic suggestion due to the way I felt as I had the thought......but I ignored it. I didn't care. I pretty much had a gleam in my eye, curious to see where this all went. Plus, the drive to work there was maddening. (gotta love the intensity and effectiveness of post hypnotic programming!) I'd never thought of that hotel before....but I knew, I'm going to work there, period.
I called the hotel to find out if they were hiring and got HR's voicemail. I left a message and got a prompt response right back by a very friendly woman who sounded enthused for me. I was told to swing by and fill out an app and drop off my resume the next day if I was available. They wanted to meet with me ASAP. So I did the next day. Not only did I drop it off, but I was granted an interview right then and there with the then-Front desk supervisor.............who hired me on the spot. I was later told that the position had been open for something like 5 months, and they'd interviewed all sorts of people who come in off the streets, but hadn't liked anybody. Until me. In fact, the FD supervisor was very
about everybody who'd come in to apply. Until me.
So I started right away. That particular front desk manager left about 5 or 6 weeks later for a better job, and I wound up working there for 4 months before circumstances became so outrageous that I literally walked out in the middle of my shift. It was like stuff was getting crazier and crazier, trying to drive me out of there, and when I pendulum dowsed it I got that indeed, stuff had been manipulated to get me the hell out of there, NOW. Because funny stuff was happening at that hotel. To myself included.
For starters, I was assigned the "MILABS 69" number upon beginning working there. As mentioned in the work of UFO researcher and MILAB target Barbara Bartholic, she has been followed and plagued by the number 69 in her life, and likens it to negative/alien/MILABs activity. She documents in her book the unbelievable ways in which this number has followed her around. Well, I start working at the Illuminati Hotel and get assigned locker number 69. Then my computer code to log into the computer and clock in and out was 6169. I also began getting 6:09 on the clocks and in other ways A LOT during this particular 4 month time period, to the point of being very noticeable. At the time though I had no idea that this number meant anything, let alone being linked to MILABS/alien activity. Not until reading her book over a year later.
Then there was a strange incident that occurred my third week there. I was at the desk at 7 a.m to start my shift, and the FD manager arrives and comes up to the desk, to my left, and I glance over at him.......and it hits me. Immediately a memory tries to surge forth into my mind of something involving him, something very bad, and it feels like it keeps hitting a "ceiling" or "roof," figuratively speaking. I mean, this memory is STRONG, whatever it is, and it wants to come out....but it can't. It's blocked. Compartmentalized. It's a very maddening feeling, trust me, and probably only abductees can relate to what I'm talking about here. It's one of the only two times in my life where this has occurred. I glance at him and experience this repeated memory surging attempt, trying to come out, and my eyes get huge. I see him frown slightly, like maybe he's confused too, and we both look away at the same time. Me more so, I literally whip my head to the right, away from him. I can't even look at him. It didn't matter that I couldn't remember. My subconscious knew, and I refused to talk to him unless I absolutely had to for his last 2 weeks there. It was that strong, the residual leftovers. After that, stuff piled on and on until I eventually quit abruptly.
So that's the gist, in a nutshell.
Now, flash forward to the present.
I'm back to temping ever since that brief stint with the hotel, and there's this one company I temped with for only a day and a half, back in June. They liked me so much that they wanted me to apply to be their permanent receptionist. So I did, but their corporate HQ in Richmond lagged so much about getting stuff together that eventually I just took another assignment and that's where I've been all this time for the past 6 months. But over this past 6 months this company apparently has repeatedly asked about me to my temp agency, wondering if I was available to work for them, because they're still in need of a receptionist, none of the other temps were good enough or worked out, they HAVE TO HAVE ME, period, and won't accept any other temps anymore, and if they can't have me then they'll just hire from outside. They were so persistent that my temp company basically asked to pull me off my current assignment and have me go over there, to pacify them. I agreed, like, Sure, that's cool. I mean, even though I'd only worked there for a day and a half, they were nice. But let's face it...........it is a little..........weird that they're so crazy to have me. I mean, it is strange, no? Even my temp agency had to laugh nervously and agree that yeah, it is a little odd that they're so "!!!!" about me. I didn't do anything really the first time I was there but answer all of about 10 phone calls and play 500 games of Bounce Out on the 'net and read their Time magazines. My temp company laughed and said it must be my sparkling personality. !
Also, I had noted that this company had a "For Lease" sign in front of their building and had asked my temp company about that. Are they moving? And if so....where? Well my temp company couldn't get a straight answer from this company's Richmond HQ! I mean, how hard is it to answer that question? You're either moving or you're not. There's a sign on your front lawn. Come on now. hmmm. I let that slide and accepted the position. Guess I'd find out when I get there.
So yeah, today I show up for my first day there. Everything seems well and good, and I'm being shown around by one of the women in the office. She mentions with a laugh that Oh yeah, they're also in the middle of getting ready to move.....
drum roll please.......
Into the Illuminati Hotel.
The hotel has office spaces as well, and that's where they're going to be moving.
Can you imagine that.
The company that has obsessively, doggedly pursued me to come work for them for the past 6 months to the point of looking weird, finally gets me to go over to them...within 2 weeks of moving into the hotel from hell that has "funny stuff" going on with it, and which my higher self apparently chased me out of last year for my own good.
okey dokey.
I even said to Tom last week that something seems to be up with this, I wonder what it is? He said, Well, I guess you're going to find out. !!
Indeed. I sure did. Something's trying to get me back into that hotel, that's all I know. As soon as I was told they were moving there, I know my smile faltered a little and my demeanor got a little weird. I began shaking actually, like my arms and legs got a little rubbery. It's so weird. Tough little me! I wasn't scared of that place last year at the time that I worked there, but with what I know/realize now, and putting all the pieces together of how persistent this company has pursued me, only to be moving within the next 2 weeks into this hotel right after I sign on with them, it all made me a little shaky at the thought.
Anyway, I decided to cancel out on this assignment,
and for other reasons actually, believe it or not. I miraculously got a reprieve/way out in fact, because I was told that my background check or whatever it was still hadn't cleared with California, so technically by law I wasn't allowed to work there. I had to go home and come back tomorrow, when it clears. CA apparently takes 3 working days, whereas other states take 24 hours.
Well, I'm not going back. ! So something helped me get out of there it seems. I had my excuse to be able to bail out and go home after putting out "mayday" signals all morning.
Anyway, just thought I'd share this bizarro tale of strangeness. And on Halloween no less!! ![]()
