Re: zAaargh!ization Rating

I find your posts very informative StarCat and I dont consider you a know it all.  You never argue if people disagree with what you have posted, thats a big part of it.   Personall y though I do feel like I dont know the correct *spiritual lingo*, and I dont do  long info post where everybody goes *Wow*, so I feel largely ignored when I  do post something. But oh well, I find a lot of you very interesting and cant seem to stay away.   Siri Arc, very well put.

Re: zAaargh!ization Rating

Reminds me of a story about  4 buddhists meditating around a candle. They have decided that no one will say anything until the candle has entirely burned out.

They sit down and before long, a breeze blows the candle out.

The first guy looks at it and says "Oh darn, the candle burned out"

The second guy looks at the first guy and says "Be quiet"

The third looks at them and says "what are you two doing, we are not supposed to talk"

The fourth guy then exalts and says "Hahaha, i'm the only one who didnt say anything"

Re: zAaargh!ization Rating

Thank you, SiriArc, for the humorous reminder that truth is relative and individualized. Reactions (as opposed to responses) almost always give off more heat than light. And even when they illuminate (through a gl/ass, darkly, as it were), they're often in danger of stereotyping themselves by falling into what Mckenna self-consciously called the "intrinsic comedy of privileged knowledge."

How wrong you are treehugger, I love your posts...as a matter of fact, a month or so ago I went to send you a thank you email for one of your posts AND to tell you how much I like your input, but you had no email address listed so it got away from me.

What a co-inkydinky you made this post and gave me second chance to follow through!!!
