Topic: Ascension the ultimate deception?

- Definitions:
mods - The masters of deception running the matrix/material control system, or equivalent interpretation. I believe the concepts of archons, jinn, demons, dracos, 4D STS, etc. all refer to the same thing, so I assign this all-in-one label to avoid singling out just a specific interpretation.
ascension - Various beliefs describe a concept of "ascension", where one looses ones physical nature and "moves on". I also include false ascensions in this definition.

- Hypothesis:
Many current concepts of ascension are in fact a deception by the mods to trick physical beings into going from the rain into the gutter (e.g. from a semi-prison into a worse prison). Specifically the interpretations of ascension coupled with some sort of impending doom (e.g. an approaching energy burst, comet or nuclear war) and where the ascension would offer some sort of escape are suspicious.

- Proposal:
Refuse to give up physical existence, at least until the physical world is "fixed". I specifically recommend refusing to "ascend" if it is proposed by an outside intervention force (e.g. a massive fleet of extraterrestrial/interdimensional "evacuation" crafts arriving).

I believe that if humankind would massively ascend in its current state, all "errors" would be taken along to the "next level" and it would simply become a mess there too. I believe ascension should never be used to flee from a problem, I believe the problem should be confronted and fixed instead. In fact, I believe ascension happens nearly automatically after one has "fixed" all problems/challenges of the current realm, because then one is "finished" with that realm.

- Other dangers and tricks by the mods:
Craftfully playing into humankind's current fears (such as fear of death/disease), the mods may picture an "ascended realm" as a perfect place where those things do not exist. Such realms may indeed exist, but it raises suspicion in me that some concepts of ascension fit so well into humankind's primal fears (note, while typing this sentence I mistyped hell instead of well, interesting slip). It could all be a chunk of cheese luring the mouse into the trap.

Also many concepts of ascension feature elements that would seem very "cool/hip" at first, but of which I cannot detect any practical use (e.g. gaining a perfect light body). It may be a very good thing to achieve, but it may also be another chunk of cheese (i.e. a deception).

- Warnings/notes:
A potential discussion following this post has the risk to become a polarised and energy-draining discussion, i.e. one group who believes ascension is genuine vs. another group who believes ascension is deception. Let's try to prevent this from happening. It is good to state your opinion, listen to the opinion of others, and outline where you differ on someone else's opinion and (especially) why, but I recommend to leave it at that and not to try to change other being's opinions. The basic concept behind an opinion is to have it for yourself, not to change it for another.

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

Very interesting post Aprogas. What you say about ascension being deception is definitely a distinct possibility. Personally I don't have any strong beliefs regarding ascension so I'm not going to agree or disagree with you, and I'll be very interested to see what others say in this thread. I definitely do think that we're living in a very critical period and that SOMETHING is going to happen in the next few years, but what that something actually is I wouldn't like to say exactly.

I'm also interested in what you say about "fixing" the physical world. This is something I've pondered a lot this year. There are many that say there is nothing to fix. That 3D is essentially a soul school of hard-knocks and that we're here to evolve and learn from all the bad-shit before moving on to higher realms. I definitely don't disagree with that point of view because it makes sense. But equally there's a part of me that would love to see a better 3D earth with humans living a peaceful existance. Whether that can happen, or is supposed to ever happen, I have no idea.

Personally I'm just going to see what happens, hope for the best and make the most of my life here while I'm still around to enjoy it.

Agree with your definitions, sounds good to me.   smile

Absolutely.....in fact it's been mentioned here at NR the recent postings over at Operation Terra which encourage jumping immdiately into portals as soon as they appear.     !!    Very sketchy.  Very dangerous too.   I advise that if anybody sees a portal, run the other way.   wink

Exactly.

There's two ways to view ascension -  going directly from the Earth plane to the next level, automatically, as in "poof, gone",  or dying first, and from there choosing to incarnate in the next life to a realm that's outside of the 3D earth plane.   One implies a choice, while the other does not.  I tend to believe there's a choice involved and a transition via 5D (death), although certainly maybe some people go "poof" and just disappear to a higher level.     So that's something that should be considered in a discussion involving ascension.....the actual logistics of how it happens.

Yes, I agree here as well.  I think the concept of ascension, whether it's Jesus coming down from the sky to Rapture the Christians, or some huge dimensional shift, or aliens coming to pluck away their devotees, that whichever the case it all plays on people's fear of death, and wanting a shortcut out.   People want to be rescued.   People don't like the idea of having to do work on themselves.  Work is hard.  Work takes effort.    It's easier if Jesus or the aliens just come down from the sky and pluck people away.

Another thing ascension appeals to is the Ego.   "I am the chosen one!!!"   That's another huge trap.

It also often times encourages judgment.   How many die hard believers in ascension or Rapture have passed judgment on others, making comments as to who they believe will or won't be "chosen" to go somewhere higher?    More traps....

ps edit:   Connecting to what Marcus has to say below, I think "ascension" happens, but the way humans describe it is probably inaccurate.    I think everything evolves spiritually over the long haul, and we all rise up the ranks, but we're probably not going to be "rescued" or plucked away.   The transition will happen between lifetimes, and it'll be a choice to incarnate into something higher and more challenging, based on whether or not we're ready and can handle it.

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

I often think the word "ascension" gets muddled with "enlightenment".

Under oriental beliefs once an individual reaches a certain level of spiritual enlightenment - eventually this can lead them to ascend - or transcend.  Whether this takes place in the mind, spirit or is a physical thing is open to interpretation.

Point I am making though is - to me at least - there appear to be two forms of the idea of ascension.  The first being the oriental version (which after research, and a number of years in a number of martial arts, in addition to meditation and various dream states, I personally believe as being a possibility).

The second interpretation of ascension is the one you describe.  This appears to be predominantly a western perspective.  That is to say something external "saving" us, as opposed to the oriental perspective of "going within".

This really serves to highlight the predominate mentality of the western cultures.  Ascension as you have defined it - appears to be a derivative of rapture - divine intervention.  I think that sort of thing is always suspicious.

However, I think it is very important that we don't "throw the baby out with the water".  I believe like orients, that ascension can result from enlightenment.  The fact that these old traditions are getting buried deeper and deeper under all this "new age" BS - only indicates to me that certain powers want to bury the old wisdom as deep as possible.

Ignorance always serves any manipulative force...

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

Hmm, And in my studies of both the oriental and 'western' beliefs of ascension, tend to be interlinked to a certain structur of both mind/body/and spirit.

Let's put it this way.

When all of us grow up, we end up leaving some friends behind. They stay in a holding pattern while you attempt to better yourself. But if you're not carefull those friends who mean very well may mistake your need to move on with a type of insanity, or deathwish, or whatever. Usually based on all the hard luck scenarios that bombard the media at times. The "BE CAREFULL" impulse of the adult world to the children world if you will.

So that in a way to ascend is not necessarily to move onto something higher in any specific way, but to move beyond the troubled times of youth into a more productive (for self and whole) state of awareness, where the problems of the past are left in the past. One stops encountering them as they are not a part of that individual's growth/learning process anymore. THe lesson has been LEARNED, so to speak. It's the way that you can avoid all worst case scenarios by imagining them beforehand. You leave the lesson to breath it's own light by doing so, as long as you don't become fixated on one of the 'worst case scenarios' as being most likely! Remember that probability is still tied to circumstances and personal patterns, in ways that no mathematics or science can really approach in full throttle on a certain level.

atropos, entropy? *never thought to think of the similiar word origins embedded* Enthalpy? Entheo? interesting.

Integration rather than dis-integration. ^_^

Or disintegrating the unnecessary while integrating the pattern alone of the unnecessary. (we're talking in the mind, no need to dis-integrate that which thrives, those things that need to pass will pass in their own time)

So while I feel the enlightenment and the ascent happening at the same time in different ways, it's more of a perspective. And in that, it seems unreasonable to consider that what I'm exploring is unreal simply because it doesn't fit the most obvious pattern of awareness generated on the lower levels of my path, which I consider open though I focus on healing as personal preference to look at the idea of enlightenment and ascending as both valid within the framework of becoming a greater whole within the integrated larger whole. More functionality (or practicality if you will) within the moment, not because some outside source demands it, but more because an insider source desires mastery of self.

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

I, too, would be suspicious of saviors showing up.  Isn't that how we got into this mess to start with?  We can't make that mistake again!

I've heard a number of people who had visions about the lightbody, so I am thinking about that and not dismissing it as disinfo yet.

It's important not to dwell on the negative, because it's easy to fall into fear about the future.  Our thoughts, our intent, determine our experience.  I also think that urge to fix things is just a sign that we're learning the lessons.  But actually trying to fix things in this place is futile; we can only "fix" ourselves by shedding any false beliefs and living from our inner integrity.  When we transform ourselves, everything changes.  We don't want to "fix" it, we want to transform it.

I was considering also posting about the dangers of the saviour belief, I guess I can add it here now. It is dangerous because it can make beings passive and lazy. They are reluctant to fix things that are fully within their control, waiting instead for the saviour figure to come do it for them. Wether this saviour is Jesus, the Galactic Light Federation, the United Nations or other does not matter. When something is within your control (and many things that seem not to be in fact are), it is quickest and easiest to do it yourself. Waiting for the saviour to do it might seem to cost less energy, but in the long run alot of energy will be wasted on waiting.

As a slight spinoff from the subject, the concept of waiting is interesting too. When people are waiting for something, e.g. a train, many seem to be "actively waiting". With that I mean that in their mind, they are "running" on waiting mode, actively creating the annoyance because what they are waiting for is not there yet. Those who do this seem to be addicted to the ability to complain, e.g. "the train is 2 minutes late, and it was 5 minutes late yesterday, they never go on time". Again an energy-wasting and dangerous attitude in my opinion.

Soloflecks wrote:

I am also not dismissing it, I am still pretty agnostic about it. My rule of thumb however is: don't underestimate the masters of deception. A very dangerous belief one can obtain is thinking one sees through the plan, thinking they are smarter than the rest, even smarter than the mods. I think it is important to always consider that there may yet be another deception behind the one you just pierced. I also think that trying to pierce through deceptions is not the correct way to "defeat" them. The way to cease the mods control over you is by making their deception irrelevant to you. Live your life independent of what they try to make you believe, and you don't need to pierce anything. I think that is also what the slogan "Transcending the Matrix Control System" is describing.

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

I think this excerpt from Wandering1's Ra session that he posted here previously, is relevant to this thread:

Ra wrote:

To understand yourself is to commit to finding answers to the questions that are welling up in your mind.  If you having a passion to know, to seek, to understand, allow yourself a grace period, if you wish, to resolve those questions.  This is honoring yourself, and honoring the heritage that you are coming from.

This awakening can be very difficult, like being beaten with reeds, the reeds themselves not being thick, but the cumulative sting causing a great welling up of sorrow in the mind.  There is the feeling that life will never truly be resolved on Earth, that it will never truly be what you want, and thus you constantly have to “settle for”  levels of disharmony and discontent.  There are certain compromises that are inevitable.

But this process of ascension is not about a cosmic lightswitch that a disembodied spirit flips at a certain moment in time such as December 21, 2012.  It is a process of continuing unfoldment.  It is a process of reaching deep within yourself and making those changes inside that quite literally do fulfill the prophecy of a new world- a new heaven, a new earth.  A world that is indeed one hundred times more harmonious. A world where you do indeed step into the divine abilities that are your endowment, which now lie in dormant potentiality.

I think that's a beautiful exposition, and that it's the truth about
ascension.  An inner journey, not a destination.  An ongoing Vision Quest.

Another entity, Metatron, states that there are already two Earths, and we align with one or the other moment by moment, according to whether we orient ourselves to love or fear:

Metatron wrote:

Once again, I will emphasize, Beloved Ones, that your ascension process is not about any belief system.  It is not about fighting any evil.  It is about frequency and vibration, only, because it is your personal frequency alignment that determines the nature of your experience.  Now you are being offered the choice of aligning with one Earth or the other.  This is a matter of frequency compatibility.  The frequency of fear is low.  The frequency of love is high.  As we have said many times, love and fear cannot exist in the same vibrational space.  If your being is filled with fear about all the events of your world, then you will, by default, be aligning with the Earth of the lower vibration.   If you focus inward, on your own self, calling forth from Mother-Father God, the   frequency and vibration of Love into your being, then the fear within you will fall away.  You will be aligning with the higher frequency Earth.

It seems to me that they are saying basically the same thing--that rising up in vibration is a matter of inner alignment. This is in sync with  this quote from a book titled Grid Of Light by Carl Aaron Whitestar: "New world is new you literally. Intend to ascend."

The Metatron excerpt was channeled by Reniyah Wolf (loveandempowerment.com); the Ra excerpt by David Wilcock (ascenstion2000.com).  Thanks to Wandering1 for sharing the latter.

I think that's also what Stuart Wilde is ultimately alluding to as well, particularly in his latest website posting "Field of Dreams"

Stuart Wilde wrote:

...Early in life I learned to dream the impossible dream. It made me open to ridicule of course, but I didn't care about that. I believed a strange dream that my old teacher told me. He said that one day we would be able to see into another world and that eventually we'd walk into that world and come back to tell about it.   He suggested esoteric travelers should look for the hidden door.

I did that.

Then as my perception grew I discovered it in the distance and so I walked toward it, inwardly that is. There is a singularity near the door of extreme gravity. The last few yards took years to get across. Then I got to stand at the threshold of the door.

Beyond, I saw the field of dreams was true, except it was vast compared to my concept of it. And then I found libraries of information in there that opened to even bigger fields, layer-upon-layer. There are beings in there that seem to be interested in how we do as humans. They exude a non-emotional, celestial love that is overwhelming in its beauty....

Hm, can't get quote function to work, oh well.

Ayahuasca wrote:

Close. He said: "Do not look here, do not look there, the kingdom of heaven is within you."  Funny how easy it is for us humans to forget
that, our whole way of life seems oriented to getting something from the outside.

Nice one from Stuie, reminded me of this from the latest Beacons Of Light
transmission:

"Envisioning the future through goal setting is an old energy way. It has worked well in the past, but as you step into higher vibrational status you will reach for higher truths to support your higher vibrations. Now we ask you to consider that goal setting may actually limit your own higher self in the realization of your creations. Even in the old energy not long ago, it was necessary for you to be very specific about what your goals were: envision the color of that new car; know exactly how much money you were going to have in the bank; and know exactly the date it was going to take place. Now we tell you that spirit, your own higher self, can be very frustrated by some of these old energy ways, because it means that you limit your own higher self in what and how the manifestation can unfold. So, we ask this: Do not set the goals. Instead, plant the seed of how you will feel when you are planning your next stage of evolution. The real magic lies in the excitement and anticipation of planning the goals in the first place. Understand that your infinite self has realized these goals the moment they are crystallized into thought. The emotions bridge the gap in the time line. Bring the energy into your emotional being, for that is the link that you have between the finite and the infinite self. By bringing that energy in through your emotional being and experiencing how it feels to be designing your next set of goals, sets up the greatest of possibilities. "

So again, it's about keeping the dream, the vision going; about the journey rather than the destination.

I never resonated with that old energy way of doing things, rarely put it into practice though I often thought I should...

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

So, basically just LET GO and just BE (a vibration) and let life flow, go with the flow, enjoy, be happy, feel from within ourselves how we personally want to be and set that vibration to where we want to be and what we want to experience.

This is all happening NOW, no other time, no where else, its NOW, feel the"kingdom of heaven" within yourself, let go of all feelings of fear and worry (forget about, "this might happen, what if this happens"), its all only thought and perspective of a possible outcome and 99.9% of the time it would never happen.

Enjoy each day and find a lesson or a change in your perspective in that day, aim to feel better, happier and see life for what it is, why it is the way it is and have acceptance for the way things are. Everything has its place and its reason for being, just as we do!

Maybe we wanted it this way to make ourselves stronger, to test ourself or maybe we just wanted to come to back to a time where we had some of the best times of our life and wanted to live them again(Our "childhood") and experience the time just before we started to change into "teenagers", to grow up and become responsible for our actions, because i believe when our frequency/vibration rises, we have "powers" that have a responsibility to them, such as telepathy, telekenesis, Healing and Clairvoyancy to name a few.(which some have already learned or are in the process of learning or increasing those skills).
Maybe for myself i've been a "bad boy" in the past and have not been responsible enough for my actions and i feel that i am now learning/remembering responsibility, but thats me personally.

Possibly the next vibratory level moves alot faster than our current level, our thoughts to manifestation would happen almost instantly therefore we see how much our thoughts manifest our existence. So maybe its like we train ourselves in the 3d to be able to control our thoughts better when we do move into our next vibratory level.   (just going off track slightly)

Everyone of you have different paths and reasons for being here but I believe eventually its to make us more mature and to think and exsist at levels that vibrate with the rest of the universe/s and its inhabitants. (Be- ing closer with the oneness/ the pure thought)

Just my thoughts on the subject. wink

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

First, I'd like to seperate the concept of enlightenment from ascention.

I think that enlightenment is something completely internal, personal, socially unverifiable, and it can bring you directly to the truth.

I think that ascention can be an ideal achivement, but only in the context that it's purely internal, and not driven by an outside force.

IMO, true ascention will not be something that everyone will just do. If it is, then it's definitely STS, since a lot of people are NOT ready for the new reality that they would be immersed in. The STO already have a plan for humanity's ascention, but it deals with each person on an individual basis, and it isn't limited to a particular window of opportunity. To them, they can afford to wait until everyone's ready, and this has been an ongoing process for a long time already.

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

I learned early on that many things can be misconstrued and taken out of context, so much so that I think a new intent can be put in place over the original intent.

I have no real attachment one way or the other to ascension as such, since I don't see it as a necessity to faith/growth here on this plane. Much like Lyra points out:

Another thing ascension appeals to is the Ego.   "I am the chosen one!!!"   That's another huge trap.

It also often times encourages judgment.   How many die hard believers in ascension or Rapture have passed judgment on others, making comments as to who they believe will or won't be "chosen" to go somewhere higher?    More traps....

This is what a lot of people (not only Christians) have done. They have passed judgment already, whereas I see the concept as something to hope in, that I won't always live as such in this existence and I can have the possiblity of escaping it in this life time, IF I stick to it and choose that way.

As Andy so aptly pointed out Jesus did say, "The Kingdom of God is within you." Luke 17:21

In Romans Paul brings forth how Moses described it: "But the righteousness that is by faith says:'do not say in your heart"who will ascend into heaven?"(that is to bring Christ down or "who will descend into the deep?"(that is to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? The word is near; it is in your mouth and in your heart." That is the word of faith we are proclaiming. Romans 10:6-8

I am not caught up in the ascension because if I do believe in it, I still have to do the things here that I need to do. If I keep my walk entirely internal, I think I miss the boat because as Jesus says "wisdom is proved right by her actions." So what you know inside needs to be expressed outside.

So just as (according to the bible) there is a "circumcision" that is false and external that gets promoted as real. I think there is an ascension that is false and promoted as real. I think there will be a time when this external "flesh" or body will be replaced with a new flesh/body.

As for the saviour thing, I think the caution is in the persons owns ideas as to what that means and represents and where that person goes from there.

Just my take on it so far.

Peace,
Teddy

Re: Ascension the ultimate deception?

I think that interpretation is a major issue here too.

The reason I wanted to seperate enlightenment from ascention is because I agree with t-ren that ascention isn't the real goal of this experience. IMO, enlightenment is far more important, since once it is achieved, mass ascention is no longer neccessary.

I also agree with lyra that there are a lot of ego-traps are built into Rapture/ascention theory, as it promotes the us vs. them mentality, which is perfectly suited for manipulation and exploitation by STS. Eventually followers are led to believe that not only are they "saved" but that their being "saved" makes them better than the "unsaved." Take this mentality just a few steps further and it's easy to begin a process of de-humanization since those "unsaved fools" are undesirable and expendable when compared to those of faith. Take it a few steps beyond that and such actions not only become justified, but neccessary in order to maintain "purity" and orthodoxy among the faithful. I suspect this is what's happening presently today in American politics where the GOP evangelical movement is involved, and it concerns me deeply.

A key to remember is that any true STO plan for ascention will include an ironclad policy of MAXIMUM inclusion! This doesn't mean that everyone will get what they want, but that all will have the opportunity to approach the truth and to find their own path along it.

Whoops, and I told him iit was "Do not look here, do not look there, the Kingdom of heaven is within you."  My bad. (blush)

Checked online, now I think I had read somewhere a paraphrase of this, from the Gospel of Thomas:

His disciples said to him: "On what day will the kingdom come?" "It will not come when it is expected. No one will say: 'See, it is here!' or: 'Look, it is there!' but the Kingdom of the Father is spread over the earth and men do not see it."

Seems to sync with the theme of the distinction between ascension and enlightenment. When we change, and can see with new eyes, that is when we will perceive the Kingdom of God--since "out there" is but a reflection of "in here."
