Re: Sun Gazing

Thanks for this thread. I have read other things in this vein in the past and I believe the importance of that delicious nutritious golden orb just can not be under stressed.

In the past about ten years back after a particularly rough physical or mental week I would always head for the beach on the weekend and just drink in the glorious sun. I would need no meditational preparation or new age music in my ears. I would just stare at the sun (general direction), free my mind, body and soul and literally be cleansed in silence - regenerating  enough in me to go back to the hamster wheel.
It became my drug along with a bottle of water (the other miracle cleanser).

In the last seven years I have been far from a beach and in a different part of the globe and I noticed that I was not feeling that same inner glow or buoyant spirit. It was only recently when I came across a few articles about the importance of ultra violet light to our health -specifically taken in by the eyes. It then clicked with me what my problem was. In the last seven years I had started wearing contact lenses, completely unaware of the fact that they came with a nice shiny protective layer of uv block - like sunglasses.  I did a test when I spent just a few short hours looking in the general direction of the sun (cant get too close as eyes are rather light sensitive) and found a very real result. I felt a glow that seemed to radiate from inside from this short time and of course my mood had completely changed - like a heavy cloak had been taken off my back.
I now look around and see everywhere in the bullshit media warnings about stay out of the sun and use sunblock of hugely high factors, and of course the push for eveyone to wear shades even if just as a fashion statement. Yep gotta keep those blinkers on. I guess there is a danger of getting skin damage even though there are some people refuting that is really the case - at the very least I don't wish to have skin like leather but I will be following on with my desire to drink in as much sun as I can in  the climate I am in.

Problem now of course is how to get rid of those friggin chemtrails and fake clouds so I can actually see the sun.

Re: Sun Gazing

Thank you SiriArc for the inspiration and to DanB for the positive words.

DanB I was re-reading your earlier post (and enjoying the mind-numbingly beautiful photos you posted) and was very interested in what you were saying, especially about seeing shapes and displays in the sky. I am nowhere near where you appear to be on this but I have been having some strange experiences vision-wise recently.
I have been finding that at night (clear or clouded skies, dark or even just before dawn) I see what looks like  sparkling light particles floating in the air - in earlier stages they seemed quite fluid and formless. I now see what seems to be a lighter mass in an area of the sky that catches my attention as I let my eyes roam, or it is sometimes straight in front of me slightly up above. As I focus in on the mass it seems to take the shape of a circle with pinpoints of light around the edges -dark or blank in the middle.

At first I though there was something going wrong with my retina, but I have done extensive tests and the circle does not move with my eye (like floaters do) and in fact remains in the same general position when I return later (although sometimes needing to refocus to see the pinpoints clearly). It appears like a hologram of sorts and the size of the circle varies a lot. Lately I have seen multiple circles in different positions and a couple of nights ago I was blown away when I looked up and saw a triangle this time - completely filled by these pinpoints of lights unlike the blank circles. I have wondered if these were some kind of ufo's or entities that I am seeing -possibly outer dimensional?? I had also thought that it had something to do with the opening of my third eye (that I believe can be stimulated into activity by this sun-gazing). Is that not also a possibility in your sight abilities?

I also seem to be able to see a great many more lights moving about in the night sky (other than satelites) than I used to see. I'm not sure if that is due to increased activity up there or if I am becoming more aware of lights or objects of differing vibration. Maybe I am just illusional or dellusional, I don't know.

The light and form displays you describe sound amazing. Are any of my experiences familiar to you?  By the way I am drug and medication free and have not been drinking at the time of experiencing these phenomenon (especially not fluoridated water).

Thanks for your time and ....... May You be Eternally Illumined.

Re: Sun Gazing

Today I was in a good mood after I gazed at the sun for a brief moment and literally "let the sunshine in". This is peculiar for me, because I usually avoid the sun, because it annoys me. Afterwards I went outside and felt pretty good, I was enjoying the outdoors, watching the lake and noticing how it looked digital in some way and just sat back. Later on I noticed something similar to what you describe above, FreeSpirit. I was thinking it was my retina or what not, but I was just feeling strange altogether, so I just continued to sit back and enjoy it.

Re: Sun Gazing

Thank you very much SiriArc. I have now been doing quite a bit of reading and catching up. I see that I need only open my eyes a bit more and some of the answers that are already within are confirmed in many places. Thanks especially for the material - MAR 1,2007  ASCENDING COSMIC PULSE by Shala Mata - From: Janis.

SA You are most surely an incredible Beacon in these Realms.

Hermit Brad - yes it can be a strange trip sometimes can't it - when one feels not of this earth but at the same time everything seems brighter, clearer and more present , yet with a strange sense that it might just be whipped out from under your feet at any moment.

I assume you meant digital in a good way, or would I describe it correctly as being a digital depiction as opposed to a soft edged watercolour painting of the same scene? I guess I'm not losing my mind. Maybe we're all losing it together. As you say - I just continued to sit back and enjoy it.

It can only get better from here on.

Hi FreeSpirit,

Great Sharing!

Looks like You got some of Your answers from SiriArc and HermitBrad : )

Yes...I have seen similar things.  For me, when I say "light show" ...I get wonderful waves of light interacting and feeling like uplifting energy when I focus on the moon or a star  or a cluster of stars.

Many different and wonderful things have occurred. What I noticed early on was the ability to pick up shooting/falling stars as I never had been able prior to direct sun meditating.

The bottom line...I firmly feel and believe we are "feeling and seeing" the 4th and 5th dimension acting up right in front of us. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

Onward and Upward!

Peace, Love and Light,
Dan

Hi Joe,
I hear you! Since I started SG'ing in January, my eyes have gone through a major change. Sometime, early last fall (2006), my eyes started tearing at all times. At times I would blink and tears would shoot out of my eyes and splash on my eyeglasses. This happened so often it was annoying. Tears constantly ran down my cheeks. Very embarrassing since I work with the public. Instead of bifocals, I have two pair of glasses. I noticed changes in my eyes immediately after starting SG'ing (within a week). After a few months, my tearing stopped. The only time I tear now is when I look at the sun when it is too strong for my "newbie" level. I also, almost never, where my distance glasses anymore. When I need to wear glasses, I only wear my close up glasses. Even for driving. I can see distant objects clearer with my distance glasses but, they produce an image that is nauseating. The prescription for my close up lenses were designed so I could stand at a counter and use a computer with no problems. They used to work great. Not anymore! Now, I almost never wear them at work, only for distance use.

I often tell people that my eyesight improved dramatically after SG'ing a few months and now, my eyes are all screwed up! What I mean by this is that my eyes changed quickly and linearly for the first 4 or 5 months but now the changes are slower and not as expected. I now find that the more I SG, the more of a change I detect or the more stable my vision is. Sometimes I can't decide which pair of glasses to wear if any at all. When that happens I try to SG at least 30 minutes in the morning or the evening. When I do this, my cheeks will feel very warm and my eye sockets will feel as though they have just been messaged. Then, for a few days, I can go without glasses at all.

I do not know were this is leading. (I do have my ideas) But, there is no doubt in my mind that SG'ing has helped my eyes and will continue to do so as long as I feed them with sunlight. This one little revelation is all I need to be convinced of the value of SG'ing. I hope you, too, can find that one bit of value that will make it all worth while. Fixing my eyes is only one area that is changing for me. I have already made a post about how my migraines have been helped by SG'ing. There are other areas, too. More spiritually.

Re: Sun Gazing

I've just started sungazing (today). I have some difficulty doing so, given I live on the outskirts of a city where there are lots of structures and trees in the way, so I have to bike ride 10-20 minutes just to see it (along a bike trail), but oh well to that. For a few weeks now I've been taking the opportunity to sun bathe for 1 hour by going outside and giving the black onyx ("Onyx") necklace from Gemisphere its cleansing sun bath. The rose quartz ("Roselle") too. I've occasionally looked at the noon/afternoon sun momentarily during those times, but only ever with eyes closed. Sungazing is proceeded by walking barefoot as much as possible and taking showers that are only so cold as which for me to warm up to and get comfortable with, rather than shiver the whole way through.

I'm keeping these in mind during sungazing:

- Sunrise is easier to see given geographical layout of the area I'm in, plus less people around who may disturb me. Oh, and, moist grass makes for better earth connection.
- 10 seconds to start, 10 more every following day.
- Will avoid looking directly at the sun (although that's cool to do).
- Will be barefoot on grass.
- Keeping sincere intent in mind. This is, for me, to heal me and remove my issues (there are lots of them), make me a better person (transformation), and to see reality as it really is (the truth; the things that cannot be seen normally). I'm sick of being stagnant / broken. If my eyesight is healed and I don't need to wear glasses anymore, I consider that a bonus.
- Having palms up and open to receive on/off or the whole time.
- Trying to sungaze as close to official sunrise/sunset as possible.
- Being thankful.

Re: Sun Gazing

To clarify, from may part I only look at the first rays with are not the whole
sun thing, the first rays who came out from behind the mounting...

Re: Sun Gazing

Quick question...is it alright if the sun causes light spots in one's eyes when beginning sun gazing? Pretty much any light causes spots for me (too many years indoors in front of a computer probably resulted in that), so I guess it's to be expected...
