Also, I believe that the events of 2012 will have a personal level of influence as well. I, for one, know that in 2012 something will happen to affect a major change in my life, whether on a personal or large scale. It's all about how I choose to perceive the events that unfold.

I think when I wrote the analogy of "riding the wave" to the shore, I meant that the wave is change, and the shore is a "new shore", that would be the result of the journey on the wave.

Don't forget though, things are always changing... there's always waves crashing up against the shore... but there are periods of time where there's little change, and every once in awhile, you get one hell of a tsunami crashing up

As for 2012, I think it's going to be the climax of all this change, when the wave reaches it's highest point before crashing onto the shore... this crash would seemingly be the proceeding years following 2012...

I'm quite interested to see what's going to happen, and almost can't wait to get there... but we've got another four years of preparing to do!

Pharos, did you get most of the notion that things seem to be speeding up, from Ian Xel Lungold?  I'm sure that I picked up some reading on it prior to listening to his video's, but I'm not sure.  He spoke of it a lot. 

I find that when I try to speak of the things I study, that most people have already reached a position where they don't want to go past.  A nice comfortable plateau in learning.  That doesn't discourage me, I just give little bits.  You give water slowly to a person who has been in the desert journeying without it.

As a matter of fact I haven't gotten that from Ian Xel Lungold, I've been discovering these types of things on my own lately. I find it amazing that we can discover the same truths through Self Discovery as have been presented already. I also see what you mean about letting someone sip slowly on water if they've been so long without it... very good analogy, I'll be thinking on that one when I try to bring Fringe subjects into peoples lives

I believe that the impression of change is more external, but it does feel like there's a pressure on me. I do feel, however, that this change is going to happen on it's own, both internally and externally, so all one has to do is keep oneself prepared for what may, and probably will, happen. "Ride the wave" so to speak. I've always had this strange excitement associated with change, but this one in particular feels like it's a big one. If one keeps oneself prepared for the shore, than the wave becomes one hell of a ride!

Wait...what is the subconscious & soul? Are the 2 the same or are they separate? How many versions of ourselves are there?

The subconscious comprises those elements of self which we are not readily conscious of.   To some degree that includes the soul itself and deeper regions of the emotional, mental and etheric bodies.  The energy imprint of all our experiences ever, are recorded in the soul and it's subtle vehicles (emotional, mental, etheric bodies) but most of it is subconcious.  It is accessable of course but is not usually conscious given the external demands of life.  As you would know the contents of the subconscious are more easily accessed in the dream state while the external demands of the senses are stilled during sleep or meditation.

The higher- Self is also beyond the level of conscious awareness in the majority of people but is more often called super-conscious.  I guess the prefix "sub" is reserved for all elements of consciousness which are sub-ject to spirit.

For any of us, we can either embrace a philosophy that reveals our shadow to ourselves, so that we can transmute it.... that is one important element of the so called "right handed path"....  Or we can find a philosophy that simply accomodates the shadow.  The path of the self- justification of the shadow is one important element of the "left handed path".  The shadow is not an essential balance to the inner- light.  It is quite simply in the way of spiritual self- realisation and needs to be seen for what it is and transmuted.  The only valid "embrace" of the shadow is the "embrace" by the inner- spirit which will consume it in increments.  Not the so called "embrace" which allows the shadow unbridled expression.  That is a path to no- where which simply increases the shadow and further obscures the spiritual- self.

With anyone, the shadow (most of which is subconscious) is a monstrous piece of work and while that part of self is nailed to the cross of matter, the soul is compelled to return to the lower planes of matter to transmute it.  It cannot be taken into spiritual planes by the soul.  We cannot ascend if the dark shadow of the lower- ego remains as the usurper of the throne within ourselves.  We must get a handle on it so it can be seen in it's many forms and surrender it to a higher power.... the spirit within.

Lately I have been feeling an intense impression of change in my life... and the people around me, both my Brothers and those who have just started discovering their awareness, have mentioned feeling the same impression. There is definitely something changing, and though on a global scale it seems to surround the next couple of years, on a personal level I am feeling this change on a smaller scale of a few months. Something in my life will change in the next few months. I am approaching the beginning of a new chapter.

It seems to me to be no coincidence that there is so much changing in the world, and there is definite cataclysm to this latest stage. Everything is accelerating, approaching the climax at break-neck speed, and something tells me that we're all going to be thrust off the edge, and it will literally be a "sink or swim" situation, or rather "Fall or Fly".

I'm personally confident in my own success in this change, but I'm beginning to feel a little bit of concern on a global scale. I am confident that everyone who is meant to survive will survive (Both in a physical and spiritual sense) what I would describe to be a 'purification', but I still empathize with the ignorant, who don't realize what is happening.

I try my best to open people up to all this information, but I've found that some simply don't want to hear any of it, and I feel sorry for them.

As do I, but then I think, maybe they aren't meant to know. I don't know.

There is a hawaiian principle that says that everything is working out perfectly. Now I'm not sure if thats true on a microscale, but on a very large macro scale, it might be.

I completely empathize with what you've said here though. Intense impression to change my life, people, surroundings. That everything has somehow become... stale? But I thought it might just be me, seeing as I know no one else in "real life" that knows anything about fringe subjects. So why do you think this is? Are we picking up this sense of urgency instinctually, spiritually, or another way?

I can also empathize with this acceleration idea. I don't think many people will argue with that either. I think this acceleration puts pressure on highly aware people to simplify their life. At least, I'm feeling a lot of internal pressure to do so lately.

So what ensures success in this change? I mean, this is the same shift that the Cassiopaean's and the Plaidians talked about, right?
