And you know what now after reading some of these replies and Ziggy's story... wow. Let's put it this way...well damn.. I was going to try and put it simply and without being too open but oh well.. uh.. basically... The guy I was with when I had the dream, we had been together a little over 3 years. I am not going to get into everything that happened while with this...jerk... but lets just say it was THE WORST RELATIONSHIP OF ALL KIND. Most manipulative, controlling, horrible...thing ever. And I could not just break up and let go so easily. I had to sit back and ask myself just why in the world I was with somebody so freakin long..it stirred up so many memories, from child hood...all throughout life pretty much. I had to ask because I knew if I didn't figure it out I'd never have a real inner peace with myself over the whole thing and the situations he brought me into..I would have ended up going through the same cycle over and over again. I know I am a bit screwed up in the head due to other things non-related to him, but what he did was prey on that and make it worse instead of trying to help... I mean I guess it wasn't his duty to help... people's pain is their own responsibility but damn he could have been accepting at least instead of...evil?
Then after I got over him a good bit it's like this whole door of opportunity opened for me like I never would have imagined. I went from having no friends to lots of them, feeling loneliness to the point of madness to "Holy crap my phone won't stop ringing"...
but now that's screwed up because if he's supposed to be my soul mate and he's gone then uh... well what the heck? But then again I never believed in soul mates. Don't get me wrong I believe in commitment and monogamy but to me everyone I have ever loved is a soul mate because I have learned through them and try and keep whatever good memories I gained with me to help me progress in a positive way. I can even thank the evil ex for some things, really. Maybe the gypsy's message was just distorted because she was in my brain which had recently been clouded with a lot of heavy LSD and Ecstasy pills less than 2 weeks earlier at the time....

Did I say that guy sexually messed me up?   He played such incredible mind games that  really were unbelievable and it was oriented mostly toward sex.   Why is it that these types, and the R complex,   use sex and violence to manipulate?  I guess it's just written in the R complex code.

Although the feeling of security may be false, it can be worth it instead of having communication troubles and such.

I have the ability empathy, and I know people's current emotions even over the internet. I can actually sniff out that they feel uncomfortable and the chat would end out quietly and uncomfortably. I want them to say what they want to say so I can hear their egoistic thoughts and maybe clear it out - So the chat wouldn't end so... 'Bleh'.

yeah,  knowing when to use it can help a lot.     
  Last summer I went on a trip to Netherlands  and then on to India (which is another story which I'd really like some venting on eventually)
I ended up helping a woman move out from a relationship with a man who was unbelievably destructive to her  in an eastern spiritual sort of way.  He messed with minds like something I've never quite seen before.        I kept trying to find the right time to dump this guy during the trip to India and finally did.   When I did I found I was drained and seriously damaged.  I  became so damaged emotionally in ways that caused me to never want to have a relationship, out of fear of men.    I tried to go into meditation to heal it and it couldn't be healed.   I recongized thatit was the ego side of me,  the part that became incredibly afraid,  needed some major care before anything else could be done.  So I made some moves to put myself back with my old past partner because I knew he'd help heal this part of me because it needed some major surgery.  I knew it was all ego being damaged,  and yet I had to tend to it, kind of like giving a kid a candy to shut them up for awhile so you can get some important thing done because if they keep screaming nothing can get done.   I was very aware of what I was doing with the ego, and I saw it as the best thing and now there's nothing to heal now, but still the ego isn't gone, it's just not screaming.  I still don't want a relationship but at least I'm not vowing to a life of a nun either,  which is a huge progress from where it was.

I don't accept the shadow-self/dark- self/ego as a  healthy  aspect of creation.   It is a creation  experiment gone very, very wrong.   Open that pandoras box and we see where it gets us.   A reptilian teacher would have one believe that it's all very good and just accept the good in it.   And there are many, many teachers out there doing it.   And, there making huge money at it as well.   This is what has caused the open field for so much take over in the last decade.  Open being the key word here.  They want you to open to these ideas and beliefs as good and it fits their schedule of take over nicely.   You then open your R Brain to acceptance and take over becomes easier.

For me, it's healthy if you use it right. Just need to control instead of stopping it without realizing how it can help you. I know some people who hates their ego, and whenever they get upset or moments where they would feel uncomfortable, the R-Complex would be too weak for them to give them some more security in themselves. I went within to my spirit/heart place and relaxed and waited for truth to come. Sometimes it takes awhile but it eventually comes.   I discovered quickly who and what Ramtha is.   
The trueSpirit Heart within is not connected to the Reptilian brain (ego) and if I relax and don't force it I discover all kinds of truths from the place of Heart and not Ego.   So,  Ramtha's Reptilian brain teachings were, and are, an attempt to have people connect with that ego part within their brain and stimulate it through focus,  which further releases ego traits and subsequently opens the person to allowing easy access to the Reptilian race by making their personality compatible.

To really prevent being a vehicle for an R it's a good idea not to stimulate the R brain/ego.   But, if you look around you'll see that the R's have promoted lots of things that will stimulate the R Brain/ego, from t.v. commercials to food to violent games and lots of porn wherever you look.   They promote acceptance of it so that it will be easier accessed and it ignites the R brain which is just what a Reptilian wants.   Easier to influence and take over since an Reptilian is R Brain ego.

here's my truth,  or what is true from my understanding,  and I always preface it by saying it's my truth so you may have a different view than me.

The shadow self 
is
the dark self, Reptilian brain, ego.   A rose is still a rose by any other name,  and poop is still poop by any name,  even if a person writes a book on it in an attempt to cover it all with sugar coating and make it look like it really isn't poo,  and we really need it.     

Go into your TrueSpirit heart and be still and ask for truths.   
When I did this I learned that it is just another very clever way for R's to confuse a lowly human who is already massively confused by inundation with so many ideas and some that conflict and some that sound good and some that have some truths hidden within them along with many major falsehoods -->  confusion arises so humans become  easily influenced and further confused.   Voila,  the R's have done their work nicely.  Their goal is to confuse while appearing to look like your getting valuable information so you never really get to the truth and at the same time open yourself to acceptance of their ideas being ok.   

There is a huge new age psuedo phsycology myth rampant that the shadow self/dark side is a  good thing.

The longer you live in your TrueSelf primarily, the more you are aware of it's feelings, and behaviors and ideas and it's truths and the easier it becomes to smell a steaming pile of stinky poop even though it's being covered with sugar.

So,  you can see how the new age wave,  and the pop phsycology self help wave has been a part of the R  plan all along.  It came at a  time to open people's brain -- their R brain -- to another level.    For a reptilian it is a golden age indeed and they welcome it as the golden age.   For a person following the R plan it is a great golden age.   
For a trueSpirit it is not a golden age at all.

Hey it wouldn't surprise me. I've told Felix on many occasions that if I were a girl kitty I would totally have his litter. He's a good cat though... he somehow knows when I am not feeling well and appears and stays with me. I got this horrible stomach virus to the point of where I thought I'd die a few months ago, and he literally layed on my stomach the whole time, when I'd get up to go barf, he'd follow me and sit next to me and watch.
