It's a level of communication with nature, it's amazing..

And yes, you do feel quite peaceful after such an event... it's very... settling, and mellow.

In the past there was a civilisation where all the people would meditate on the sky and the clouds and open themselves up to the sky. They did it for an hour a day and that's when men and slyphs had the closest relationship. Your mind would open up and be so serene after doing such an activity I would think.
