1) Probably the most popular, is the idea of those "left-behind" will continue to exist on Earth but under ever-degrading circumstances. Possibly within underground structures, ultimately allowing them to send out a "beacon-call" using hyper-dimensional technology, allowing them contact with 4th Density Orion entities, with the Orion's taking them to their world. Far out eh? But it sounds like a good plot. I'd pay to see a movie regarding this
2) Those not harvestable will "re-load", from their collective memories, an exact replica of their current state and place on Earth. In effect, nothing will happen, no Earth changes, no doomsday scenarios, nothing...everything will appear to be the same as governed by the collective timeline. Wilcock has suggested this (I completely forget the exact article, but look this topic up if you're interested in pursuing it further), but it raises several questions about: Would you still perceive of your friend in this "reality" even if he/she had advanced to 4D? If so, this would suggest that multiple "versions" of ourselves are existing simultaneously... you're still a rock, a tree, a wolf, a human, a 4th Density human, 5th density semi-human/semi-social memory complex, 6th density...right now! And each state has a simultaneous existence completely unaware of each "other"? Talk about mindblowing!
3) They'll go to another 3D planet.

And for those that are "ready"? A rapid change of awareness and perception to put it simply, but the complexities and timing is for the most part beyond our conscious faculties, and they will and do vary from individual. Some will use it to polarize in either direction, yet it may appear that nothing is happening based on their current placement on the "timetable of awareness"  as set up by your Higher-Self. But things change, pathways are created, bridges are burned. New probabilities always arise, but our job is to navigate this sea of potential and by doing so, locate our own spiritual compass.
2012 I think will be a self-fulfilling prophecy, but what prophecy/event occurs without consciousness ("Self" or "I" however universal or individuated) tied at either end? Think about this statement-question. Yet there's also a large body of evidence to suggest that this "Wave" also carries with it tangible pieces of physical evidence to suggest that we're indeed entering into a region of higher energetic density, so the idea of 2012 is not entirely related to subjective social constructs.
It will get harder in the coming years to see that nothing dramatic is in the works.
But as always, work on the heart and let the heart work through you. Keep it real, always.

It probably will. And then, when people see that the dramatic predictions of the end of the world or other obvious physical changes have not come to pass, they might be tempted to think that the whole 2012 thing was bs all along, thus "out there" ideas lose even more credibility. But I personally believe that there WILL be changes around that date - it's just that they'll be subtle, and perceptible only to sensitive types.

I thought the same thing. It's just a repackaged version of the idea that Jesus will return one day and automatically save all Christians while damning everyone else to hell, or that an alien spaceship will come and whisk away certain people and leave others behind. It encourages inertia and complacency. Any true transformation will come about when people transform themselves, in my humble opinion.

OPPORTUNITY =  the OPEN PORT TO UNITY   [port = door]

This cyclical opportunity for spiritual transcendence makes 2012 a standout date because the opportunity co- incides with the 'great cycle' aforementioned.  For a 'while' before and a 'while' after 2012 the opportunity climaxes.  During this cusp of 'great cycles' the spiritual hierarchy represent themselves in new and appealing ways to sensitive souls who are ready to  transcend finite cycles and re- unite with spirit.  Because there are dark, controlling forces in the physical and astral planes all of the polar opposites appear as do all the imposters of the light who try to obscure truth regarding this special time and the true nature of the opportunity it presents.  They are desperate to prevent their favourite meals from transcending the material plane.

I honestly believe 21 DEC 2012 will pass like any other day.  The real opportunity spans a greater time period than a day.[either side of that date]  Also i honestly believe that transcendence does not happen TO any person at A particular time but happens through spiritual growth which takes time and application.   As a selfless expression of their love, the true spiritual hierarchy are releasing more spiritual light into the earth at this time.   But i believe it's the false hierarchy who created the doctrine of a 'shift' that will sweep up the faithfull into a new dimension and 'timeline'.  They spread the idea that a certain day and date will impose such overwhelming change as to render the individual and the earth unrecognisable.  This is a pie in the sky and i believe it can only lead to "disappointment."  The promised "appointment" with 21 DEC 2012 will not be met in the way it's heralds predict.

The opportunity is a wave of the holy spirit that for a time moves through the material planes and ourselves [in a more than usual way] and then moves on.  While it waxes, we have the opportunity to surrender our souls to it and thereby be spiritually transformed.  It's not easy to surrender the karmic patterns of the lower self.  It's taken more than a day to create and will take more than a day to transmute.  But it can be done in 'short' order during times like this. [even in one incarnation].

The bible records somewhere : 

                     "The days [of karmic toil]
                       shall be shortened
                       for the sake of the elect."   [those who elect to raise the vibratory rate
                                                                   of the electrons which compose the karmic bodies
                                                                   by integrating with a new wave of the holy spirit]

And :              "Though their sins be as scarlet
                        I will make them white as snow"

                         I [the inner spirit, will release the light for the transmutation of consciousness.]
                         I [will restore thereby the true vibration of the 7 rainbow rays of the chakras]

                         I [have called it the 'wedding garment' and by the purity of that etheric body
                            the soul will unite with the christ- self and ascend to the Father (the I AM Presence) ]
                           
                         

These prophecies relate to the coming of the greater light at the end of an 'age' and the end of a 'great cycle.'  It is dispensed to our higher- Self and released to our souls through the path of initiation.  Personal realisation of the holy spirit can accelerate our soul vibration and shorten our sojourn in the material plane by the transmutation of the lower- self.  As the alchemists changed lead into gold we can do the same with our consciousness through immersion in this wave of the holy spirit.  We must become it on it's way through, be resurrected by it,  and move on with it into the infinite cycles of God consciousness.

There is so much info out there Tinker  but the bottom line is, nobody really knows exactly what will happen.  But the teachers all say the same thing - stay grounded to yourself and have no fear.  Be as the light.  And remember love no matter what.

Also, another fascinating element of the whole 2012 issue which is my personal favorite is the late great Terence McKenna and his Timewave Zero theory.  Are you familiar with that?  He was a man before his time.  Back in the 1970's, in the infancy of computers, he had a vision of the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching which he translated that into that Theory.  He felt compelled to analyze the I Ching and came up with Timewave Zero.  You have to go on Youtube or Google and find it.

It tells of accelerating time and its consequences.  It's just a chart with up and down zig zags with historical events pointed out that correspond to his theory.  I'm sorry, I can't explain it any better than that.  But his chart ends right around 12/21 2012.
