Spi, It seems to me that etheric vision and auric vision are related but not the same exactly and blur vision affects both in my experience, i mean.. trying to explain it in my poor english..that in the case of etheric vision, the question of focus the eyes in some special way is fundamental...for me, due to my severe hypermetropy since child, it was easy cause i was very used to focus the eyes constantly in the short distances... and i think this fact, ..allow to focus the empty air in short distances is the key to etheric vision success...Is a kind of gymnastic exercice for the eyes, like switch off the automatic focus of a digital camera that everyplace that it directed, is focused and change it to a manual mode were you can focus the eyesight without difficulty to places were only air exists. In the case of auric sight, i think the key is change to a some kind of periferic vision and observe the air surrondings of things or people but more in "volumetric" way.

Bye the way i usually walk in my little spanish town and sometimes, i decide to look only to the aura of the people.. i have a strange sensation every time i do it.. i feel like if i was seeing people naked..and even in the case that the people dont see me cause are in a position without eye contact with me.. i fell that when i try to see their auras ..somehow they noticed it.. does it happen to someone of you?

A simple technique that I have picked up from a book (which if I still have, will glady send you a copy for free, pdf format of course), is called eye palming.

Get in a comfortable position, but your palms over your eyes and focus on your hands (and maybe eyes I dunno).If you want to get really effective at doing this focus on your hands intensely for a day or so. This will make them very sensitive and you will feel the energy quite strongly. Good Luck.

I don't have to worry about cancer. My skin isn't that sickly.

Pin hole glasses are supposed to tone up the eye muscles and naturally correct short or long vision without prescription lenses. see:

I know of only one other way to help with eyesight, but it is most certainly not free or close to it: wear a "therapeutic gemstone necklace" from Gemisphere. Try emerald or blue sapphire. As those are probably too much then try a little brother such as this one and this one.

Related to sungazing are some memories i conserved from my early childhood when i was about 7 years all or less in the seventies, I can see the etheric fields since child...well i mean entopic, snowy vision..phospenes..whatever you want to call it..i know is a controversial issue...i mean this little spots that swirls around all and are specially active in the edges of the skin (hands and head specially) and in the top of the trees also... and sometimes color auras. This kind of vision is almost automatic and i can switch to this one to the normal vision at will nowadays. Well, when i was a child i remember to play myself a funny game with my eyes... i used to look at the sun directly and for a few seconds and then with the obtained negative image, observe it as it changes in shape and color (greennish and blueish colors) keeping the ghost after image floating in the air and using it as some kind of inner private laser pointer:) with the people and things... The fact is that i was shocked some years ago when i read somewhere that budist monks in central asia used a similar technique to improve their inner vision or open their 3 eye or raise the kundalini or something like this... I link this kind of improvised behaviours in my childhood to others like when we were childs we used to whirl ourselves to get some kind of high or for some strange reason that i dont understand even today also press the eyes with the palms to see shiny patterns...close similar to psiquedelic motives, even when i was a very young boy i used to masturbate myself and make tantra exercices of ki retention without know anything about sex or tantra or nothing...
years after i discover that not all the people did things like that...my question is...: Is this kind of improvised spiritual or esoteric practices and without know nothing of this issues previously, related to past lives? related to a DNA memories? who knows... And sorry about my english again...

Infact, I try my best avoiding the sun's rays! Like a shadow! That doesn't make me hate Light though, way opposite, I am with Light.

I might try this once the clouds clear up, but most likely not because of the trees.
Staring at a light bulb is probably not a good substitute.

Sun gazing is mostly recommended by you three, but I still have some questions about the vision when astral projecting/auric reading/spirit view comes in relation.

I thought this link in SiriArc's post was nice because it's realistic in that it recommends against sungazing before saying exactly how to do it a decent way, heh (it's amusing). One thing to note is that if you're going to do the HRM method, to not try sungazing during the hour after sunrise and before sunset, but rather within the first 25 minutes after sunrise and last 25 minutes before sunset. The closer to actual sunrise and sunset, the better / easier it is on the eyes. If you're in a geographical area that sucks for sungazing (ugh, I am) you'll have to see it as early / late as possible. It doesn't take much going past the realistic safe time limit to end up with a blue sunspot on the eye that can last a few hours, several hours, or even 24. Do it how you feel is right (whatever intuition says)...

Even if your eyesight doesn't appear to improve at all after 3-4 minutes worth of the HRM gradually raised time method you'll probably find that you can look in the direction of the sun in the early morning and late afternoon hours without needing to squint much. Not that that's what you want or is special or anything, just something to note...

Out of redundancy I'll quote parts of that linked page (although I formatted them for saving, and that's what I copied-pasted here)...

? When your sungazing session has ended, face away from the sun and stare at the horizon or at the sky above the horizon for at least a few minutes, and then close your eyes and palm them with your hands for another few minutes until all afterimages, if any, have disappeared.
? Stay outside with your feet on the ground, either standing or walking, for at least 10 to 20 minutes. Even 5 or 10 minutes of barefoot standing or walking outdoors after sungazing is far better than no "post-sungazing" time at all.
? Note that it is not necessary to sungaze every day or as often as possible.
? Be aware that you may experience a strong "negative" sun image in yellow or blue afterwards for up to an hour, particularly if you neglect to perform the suggested procedures, or if you fail to stand or walk on the earth for at least 10 to 20 minutes after sungazing.
? Be aware that you may feel some slight visual impairment for up to an hour afterwards.
? In the beginning, particularly if you fail to follow the recommended post-sungazing procedures, you may notice that you have some loss of vision in the center of the visual field for about 10 minutes following a session, and some folks report really nasty headaches and sinus pains which may last for days afterward, especially when first starting.
? Fully consider that you may have old repressed emotional material come up.
? If the heart center is closed and one sungazes, one may experience heart "problems" (pain, angina-type stuff, spasms, weakness) in the days, weeks and months afterward until the blocks are cleared.
? Never sungaze between the hours of 10:00 and 15:30 unless you know exactly what you are doing.
? Never sungaze during an eclipse, as your pupils may be tricked by the apparent lack of light intensity into letting too far much light into your eyes.
? Most importantly, listen to your body and intuition.

Hi Spi...How Are You?

Well, I use to wear glasses for driving and to see clearly beyond 25 feet. Wore them for seeing afar for 20 years. I do not wear them anymore because my far sighted vision has improved enough to do without them...even for driving at night I do not wear them any longer. I have been taking in sunrises and sunsets visually while meditating for 9 months...my far-sighted vision had noticeable positive changes after a few months.

Solar meditation is unique in its benefits to each person as each person is unique. But I promise You that if a personal meditation process involving sunrises and sunsets is done in slow time increment increase and diligently...eyesite improvement will probably ensue for most. I can see farther into a thickly wooded forest than I was ever able in my life...the increased clarity of my depth vision in nature has amazed and astounded me and constantly brings a grateful smile upon my face : )

You can, at first, meditate beneficially by facing sunrises and sunsets with eyes closed too...after taking it in directly in slow, built up increments. If You have a favorite spot that You visit with nature near Your home or at Your home simply interact with the sunlight in that setting and take barefoot walks while being gratefully conscious of the Creator light and its healing energies. If You have a lake or pond or stream nearby enjoy walks in the sand or bare earth near the water and take in the reflections of the sunlight off of the water...but look out...it's gonna make You smile : )

Apparently sungazing can help with this... I've never tried it so can't personally recommend it, but I know of others who did it for the purpose of improving their eyesight. There's a thread on sungazing somewhere on NR.

I'm wondering about my eyesight, it has been nearsighted since I was born. I really hate this, I want to heal them and have perfect vision without the needs of glasses. Luckily I'm a healer, though I should at least fix my sight or something.

If I raise to a point where I'm in 5d, I would not need my physical eye but that can take a long time for that goal to be achieved.
Most likely if I astral projected out of my body, I might have perfect view of the surroundings around me.

Something has got to fix these eyes, meditation or a gift given by Higher Self (If I can do that I'm still not sure I want to know!)
Also, I wonder if blurred vision affects aura reading and seeing animal guide spirits

If anyone know anything that spirituality can really fix on this physical body that would be appreciated!

EDIT: This probably should of been in Health section or whatever.. But anyone wants to, move this topic at will!
