The Monroe Institute also produces a set of audio tapes (Hemi-Sync) that can help you tune your awareness into the various higher levels of reality. David Icke's books are also great, although he seems to spend more time examining the machinations of the MCS than he does putting things into a higher perspective. But still, very valuable all the same. However, I would only recommend investing any of your time in reading these if you yourself perceive a "deficiency" in your viewpoint that you would like to examine. It doesn't really matter what I think. If you are comfortable with your viewpoint the way it is right now, then leave it be :-)

Becoming aware of enemies, becoming strong, learning fighting tactics, and taking on soul weaponry does not necessarily mean that you are fearful. These things can be small parts of a much larger spiritual practice containing many counterbalancing measures.

How does that not make you fearful? Feeling a need to learn "fighting tactics", and taking on "soul weaponry" still demonstrates a strong urge to protect oneself from any external attacks which would be perceived as causing damage. I can completely understand where this urge comes from: it is a wholly reactive response to perceived external threats arising in the form of an impulse from very deep down within the human psyche (within the "animal self"); so deep down, in fact, that it may feel like an impulse from your higher being when it is, in fact, nothing more than a primitive physical survival urge. Your physical body is both limited and temporary, and is always going to be sending these survival impulses to you throughout the duration of your existence here; your non-physical self is unlimited and indestructible. In recognizing the difference lies the key to understanding from where within you such impulses arise.

czyx wrote:

A victim mentality can be born from fear, (or indoctrination, or misplaced love, or any number of things) but I just don't see how sensible planning for possible attacks indicates an overriding mentality of any kind--be it victimhood or aggressiveness or neurosis. Becoming physically stronger, larger, and more weaponized is a valid evolutionary response to known predators. It is not the only response, nor is it always the best, (it couldn't save the dinosaurs!) but it shouldn't be completely disallowed just because it isn't pretty.

As I said above, do what you want to do; there is no right and wrong about it. Just try and be aware of why you are doing what you are doing, and from where within you the impulse to take such action arises.

czyx wrote:

I would tend towards "yes" in answer to that question. I feel the world is a mix of the chaotic and the pre-requested. Random instances of victimization not arising solely out of a prior request or a current attitude are possible.

I would tend towards a firm "no". What appears to be random and chaotic at one level would seem quite structured and ordered from another. We are constantly receiving guidance from higher levels of our own being whilst here in order to create the most effective experiences possible (this does not imply that they will always be pleasurable); no one can do anything to us that we haven't specifically requested to occur, and all experiences carry an inherent value. If you always take responsibility for the reality that you created, and allow others to do the same, then victimization is no longer an issue.

czyx wrote:

I think what you've said here cuts right to the core of what we're talking about. I am not saying the whole universe should change to suit my wants and ideals. I am not saying the whole universe is evil. I am saying that the control system--which exists inside of the universe, currently contains me, and is possibly itself contained by other control systems--is not where I belong. If you are a being with a soul, it is not where you belong either. For a being with a soul, no permanent role within the control system is natural or necessary. Such a being is meant for a larger role within the universe, or perhaps a role within a higher system corresponding to its needs. (Which might appear as a control system to beings higher than itself!)

If you didn't belong here, you wouldn't be here. It is, of course, not from where you originated, but no one other than yourself chose to come here. Rest assured that there is a very good reason why you did :-)

czyx wrote:

I am still in the process of discovering just what a true, divine "I" is. But the false "I", the one to struggle against, is a near-robotic creature, ignorant and hypnotized, immobilized by fear, trained by repetition, enslaved and alienated. Its wants and ideals are largely the product of the external control system. This control system is something which cannot be overcome by good feelings and sunshine alone! From my point of view it is sick and malicious, keeping my true "I" chained up in the basement of my body. Upstairs are portals to divine wisdom and love. To get to these portals, the control system must be overcome. So the control system must be studied and acted upon by all means. Influences which encourage me to do anything less are not friendly.

What you call the false "I" also has some amazingly useful qualities, the most desirable of which is its ability for logical analysis and critique. Again, it is about finding a balance between two extremes, and not about simply moving from one extreme all the way over to the other. One of the major reasons why earth reality is so attractive is because of this inherent ability to build a left brain mentality which is the perfect balance to the dreamy and sometimes irrational modality of the right brain (which is a reflection of our original, divine self).

Stephen, I want to thank you for reminding me of Delores Cannon. I had read her books some 20 years ago and forgot what a pleasure they were as an addition to my exploration to know. It is nice to hear she is still going strong. I don’t for a minute think you went into some bliss bubble…you simply were in the presence of two cool old ladies who have a particular morphogenic field they are enjoying…and that was infectious.

And Thoth…your perspective is but one more reinforcement for the avenue I am now exploring.

When I first read the cass it enabled me to face the hidden fears. It was life transforming. I put the pieces into the puzzle and they fit. However, I did not want to continue to live in a stance against “them“? for the rest of this incarnation. So, I did what I always do, ask, and the answer started formulating. Experiences occurred, networking with kindreds took a new direction…and a new perspective ventured upon.

Everything I was researching had one common element, linear time. Yet, linear time is the construct we use to experience this 3d. I have had one experience, that I can remember, of simultaneous time…it was a concrete experience. From that perspective there was no linear construct and all events in this lifehood were as connected as millseconds apart even though spanning a 25 year “time frame“?. When you understand that time is simultaneous you realize that there can be no wave “coming“? as it is happening in the now…as I said before on another thread…the cass did a wonderful job of putting in story form (linear construct) an event that is always happening in the now. The information had to be put in a form that was most palatable to the masses.

Anyway, back to the cass…from reading that info started a connect the dots thing and viewing society within the framework described. It did all pan out, and the references to reptile like demons in religious writings etc. I had known about the reptiles from a long time but the cass info gave me the impetus to fully explore the dynamic.

There was a point however when learning the “this family, that dynasty“? etc seemed to be nothing more than the same fascination with soap operas…and the same story line. Evil doers, back stabbing, intrigue, sex, illegitimate children etc. I simply bored of the story…like, there is a mcs for sure, but do I really care about all the details.

Anyway, hit an expanse a month or so ago…past lifehood, lifehoods, to soul life hood and the drawing back to the ocean. Made a post here called A Good Day. One of those paradigm shifts. As soon as the shift new info started filtering in on how to experience from a more expanded perspective. In reality this is all a projection on a screen, we are a pure consciousness being at source and create ourselves in different matrix for experience…because it looks interesting. I have had concrete experience of going from pure aware will watching the formation of earth to slowing down the vibration to “come into“? earth…it was physical, I could feel it, the process of slowing down my vibration to experience 3d. That happened about 11 years ago.

So you look at what a morphogenic field is…and you understand that everything are light waves that only become particulates when you focus your attention on them. It explains all the “how do we project this reality“?. In Monroe’s first book he describes how he learned to travel through morphogenic fields eventually to the place of his soul birth. There are so many fields in the infinite. Some are just lovely some are just terrifying. Still, they are but fields and we have the ability, the innate ability to be in whatever field we so choose. Realizing that this particular field leaves the inhabitants subject to abduction, experimentation etc is a pretty strong impetus to re-member the tools to field hopping at will.

I would say that for me the soap opera has lost it’s appeal. It was fascinating to play the game…otherwise would not have done it. The ole good against evil is so full of drama. Whether one chooses to stay and play or move to another movie is neither a sign of soul growth or learned wisdom…just a creator being having fun.

I am presently reading “the field“? by mac taggart…and it is lovely. It only reminds me of what I already know…it is not an intellectual understanding, but something I know, have always known, my natural state of being.

I realize with all the agenda’s operative at this 3d level it might be in my best interest to do the things that promote ability to field hop. Have field hopped before, it is not that difficult. I just got distracted in the battle, and it was a good one lol…but think I need to get back to the things that give me a few more options than I have been playing with. I know that I already know…it is just a process of deprogramming myself from what I decided to forget.

a rose…

We are, ultimately, spiritual beings, but what we do whilst here in physical reality is really very important to us in terms of growth and experience. So I always try and find a balance between both our physical and non-physical selves, but still recognize that our true nature is infinite and indestructible. I find that by doing that, I can always put things and events in physical reality into their greater perspective, no matter how difficult or terrible they may seem to be from down here.

morningsun76 wrote:

From that higher perspective, I think the point of existence is to try to elevate ourselves closer to the ultimate inifinite source. So no, from that perspective there is really nothing to worry about. At this point I guess it comes down to a question of how each of us finds a way to accomplish that task, what each individual perceives their purpose on Earth to be. I sometimes ponder on the idea that Creation is really nothing more than "God's" (i.e. the one infinite source consciousness) way of reproducing itself in an infinite variety of unique expressions of itself. So, as far as that goes, there aren't really any right or wrong choices to make, because each choice simply leads to a different path of self expression. I think that this may well be "God's" greater purpose for each of us: an experiment of sorts to determine and appreciate its own tremendous powers of creativity. You are exactly as you should be. To me, that's really quite comforting.

morningsun76 wrote:

To continue with the prison analogy, try telling what you just said that to someone locked up on a life sentence. "Stop looking at it as a prison!" A good attitude goes along way, but it doesn't change the fact that you're still behind bars. Me, I'll be scheming to get my hands on a file if it takes years of effort, and chewing away at the bars until then.

Why would I tell a prisoner he isn't in a prison? I think you are misunderstanding me, and the point I am attempting to make. A prison is a physical building with walls made of brick or stone, and underpaid guards bearing guns. In a prison you spend most of your time confined in a very small room with only yourself for company. Your physical freedoms are severely limited, and there is pretty much no way of getting out. If this planet is itself a prison, it's undoubtedly the most open prison I've ever seen. I can pretty much come and go within its walls as I please, choose who I want to associate with, and where I want to go. I can decide for myself what to eat, where to work, who to call a friend, what movie to go and see, what car I want to drive, where to live, who to f*ck, etc, etc. And if I simply can't tolerate being within this "prison", I can always end my life (sentence) within it and get out.

Now, I realize of course that many of our freedoms are being eroded at this point in our history. We have such a thing in this day and age as "thought crimes" after all! But these things are happening because we are ALL letting them happen, and we are all taking a part in creating them. As a species, there is much we can do to stop the progress that is currently being made towards a massively totalitarian society in which a very small few control everything - IF that is what we all desire, and take the appropriate actions, both internally and externally, to manifest that into reality. However, we can never transform this place into a paradise of spiritual bliss and perfect harmony. It just won't happen, given the built-in limitations inherent within physical time-space reality. Perceived injustices and inequalities will always exist as long as humans do. But in the meantime, why view it as a prison? Why not view it as simply a place of learning wherein there are no right or wrong choices, but one in which you can make any choice you wish and see what the outcome is, then make changes based on the wisdom distilled from such experiences?

morningsun76 wrote:

I respect the rights of each individual to their own opinions, but they must accept the consequences of their decisions. The consequences of ignoring unpleasant physical realities is that things do not change, and you stay a prisoner, slave, or whatever the case may be. Your philosophies determine your actions and therefore your reality. It's easy to miss that middle step of action.

True to a degree, because we do not have complete control over our reality here. And I am certainly not trying to say that we should simply let other people walk all over us. There is a saying that summarizes my thinking about this: "Be the change that you wish to see within the world." You can't force anyone else to change, after all; so take responsibility for yourself, and let others do the same. So, in keeping with that: If you are a slave and you want to be free, direct your thoughts and actions towards accomplishing that. If you are a prisoner who wants to break out of prison, do likewise. But remember, as you yourself just stated, you must always be prepared to accept the consequences of your decisions - whatever they may be.

morningsun76 wrote:

Just because "the predatory instincts always return" is no excuse not to stand up for what is right. Imagine if the American founders felt the same way and didn't bother to revolt against England, or if the blacks of Alabama in the sixties didn't bother to stage the bus boycott because the whites would still have most of the power anyway.

Yes, the American founders revolted against England ... and yet still America is not free from external controls. The blacks of Alabama did indeed stage a boycott back in the sixties, and yet can you tell me that - even now - you'd really want to be a black person living in Alabama? As a species, we have a tendancy towards attacking the visible effects of a problem as opposed to doing something about the real causes of the problem (which are within ourselves). This is simply a part of the human drama in which we are taking a role. When we evolve beyond the need for the drama, we'll evolve beyond the need to be human anymore as well.

morningsun76 wrote:

It seems that what you're suggesting here is a suicidal philosophy of "why bother" and I think it is incumbent upon everyone who cares even the slightest bit about maintaining human freedom and dignity in this world of increasing lunacy to do everything in their power to start a process of change, even if the odds seem insurmountable.

If you had really read and understood my postings on this thread, you'd understand that what I am actually saying is nothing of the sort. Your usage of the words "suicidal philosophy" is indicative of an individual who thinks that they really have something to lose in all of this; that they themselves can somehow be destroyed or at the least severely harmed. We are eternal, spiritual beings having a human experience, living within a temporary time-space illusion that is merely a reflection of ourselves. Nothing more and nothing less, and nothing here is forever. So, what I am saying is simply this: the process of change always begins and ends WITHIN YOU.

morningsun76 wrote:

This doesn't mean you have to be a full time activist or join any groups, but at the very least when you hear someone say something that you know goes against what is right, that you speak up -- depending on the situation it could be a few simple words like "I disagree." Or it could be a few paragraphs posted on an internet forum, as in the case of this message itself. I know how easy it is to get frustrated and keep one's spirits up, but it's vital to never give up hope. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

You have every right to your own opinion, and every right to speak it. Just as others do to theirs. Whether other people listen to you is beyond your control. I don't suscribe to the idea of the triumph of evil, because I don't subscribe to the existence of objective good and evil anyway. But all of the concerns that you have expressed right now only applies to this physical reality level. Ultimately, we are all aspects of infinite consciousness. When you put things into that higher perspective, what is there to REALLY worry about?

Just because you take steps to prevent victimhood doesn't mean you're consumed by fear. If you start doing things that negatively impact your development, like shutting yourself off from the world, seeing threats were there are none, spending inordinate amounts of time and energy bracing for an attack, then there's a problem. There's nothing wrong with wanting to look more intimidating or hit harder, and working out to acheive that goal. Anybody with sense will look past the physical and see that you are a kind and good person.

The victim mentality in the first example comes from having a mindset that one can easily be made a victim of unless one becomes physically stronger. But, this is why it's called victim mentality: it's all in the mind, and is born from fear. But, here's one thing to consider: does the world do anything to us that we haven't specifically requested to happen to us - in order to create a valuable learning experience - before we ever incarnated here? If the answer is "yes", then we can become victims. If "no", then it is no longer possible to be a victim at all.

czyx wrote:

I haven't had much experience with serious discussion of my spiritual beliefs. That's one of the reasons I'm here--to get a chance to express myself and better understand reality. I'm sure my beliefs will change in time, and I'm glad to have the opportunity to talk with you and others about these things so that we can get closer to the truth. Right now, the model of reality I find most truthful is that which is expressed in the Gnostic scriptures. According to the Gnostic system, the physical world is based on laws which govern the spiritual world as well. The physical world may be a hazy and corrupt version, but I think there is still a chance to look at physical things and learn a deeper truth from them. A man without books, without friends, without history, with nothing, has only the bare facts nature to use as his material when starting out on the path to truth. He has the stars, the moon, the earth, animals, the body, blood, breath, and so on. I think these things have a great and wondrous beauty and meaning which should not be thrown away. This is why I think the analogy fits, and is useful for those of us in the physical realm.

I like some of the Gnostic teachings also, especially the concept of Sophia giving birth to a "warped" consciousness that separated itself from the whole. Certainly the physical and spiritual worlds are both based on similar laws; as above, so below. I too think that all things have a great and wondrous beauty to them, which is why I don't think of this reality as a prison but more as a university with some really great scenery :-)

czyx wrote:

If I came here, I came here to take the place seriously. I didn't fire up the cosmic video game system in order to smugly put the controller down and declare the game unbeatable. I didn't come to this sphere to fantasize about writing games either, especially when I haven't even finished this one! The knowledge that this place is a prison has freed my mind. It is a good thing, to know the truth. I am not beating my fists against the bars and screaming myself hoarse. I'm not constantly angry. I'm not consumed by resentment. I just want to increase my knowledge in order to find a way out. I have faith that I can, but I'm not attached to the outcome. I can decry this place yet still maintain calm acceptance of my situation.

Yes, we did come here to take it seriously (at least, to a certain degree). Without that, we couldn't have a meaningful incarnational experience. However, we should remember to place the emphasis for change squarely upon ourselves and not the system itself. Expressing disapproval of it won't change anything, so maybe it is better to make observations from which we can glean valuable insight, and then apply changes to ourselves, specifically in the way we react to the perceived inequalities and injustices? I think that part of the reason why earth reality is so addictive, i.e. what keeps us coming back for more, is in this idea that we think we can change the rules of the game. But here, you don't play the game - it plays you. The idea of finding a way out, as you say, is actually moot. It is only yourself that makes the decision to keep coming back here for more each time.

czyx wrote:

I think you may be making the same mistake that people make when they look at hardcore anarcho-primitivists. But they're not. (Well, Perlman's definitely not, since he's dead.) They may speak in very strong terms about the horrific evils of the system, but in their daily personal lives, most of them are peaceful and genteel. Most anarchists are skinny, soft-spoken vegans who'd rather sit and have tea than stage a protest. But their words are very strong. I use strong words too, because I see injustice in the current system and I don't think that souled beings need to sit back and suffer when there is a chance for growth and transcendence.

The chance for growth and transcendence is certainly an important part of being here, but as a souled being we have to remember what it is that we are trying to transcend and how this can be done. You can't transcend a thing by requiring that it changes to better suit your own wants and ideals, you can only transcend it by changing yourself and your role within it. Then, at some point, you'll reach a point where you can learn no more from it and you'll move on to somewhere else.

You never know! Somehow this teacher idea ties in with ones higher self, but I don't want to go off into another tangent. Point is, we do need guidence, and a teacher to assist us on this rocky path that is filled with road rage, ruts, detours, and of course beautiful scenery along the way.

MCS try and make us car sick, mess with the engine, cause flat tires, whatever... Maybe unimaginative ploys to try and make us give up, fall for the easy way out, join the STS brigade. Doesn't seem like a game, but for STS it may be. Now, STO helpers have not forsaken us, but somehow allow us to learn on our own by adhearing to the law of free will. Sometimes "gifts" are appropriate and do not interfere with the free will "law". Gifts =healer, precognition, seeing/reading people, poet, artist, lots...)

STS probably have a similar formula, BUT is is much more limited and ultimately quite finite. It can never get to the point of a beyond a 3 or maybe 4 dimentional triangle. Their "way" can not really compete with the STO way after a certian point, becomes obselete and transparant-teacher assists us on realizing such, but we do the footwork (free will thing).

After a time STS interference, harrassment, button pushing does not work and never will-but while were here in 3D school this is still a part of the "gauntlent" to endure. STO teachers help us to disable/make weaker this gauntlent somehow, but we gotta run through it on our own 2 legs.
